My names Heather and this is my first pregnancy. The doctor said she could tell by the last ultrasound that it was a boy. He's due on January 15th.
I'm active duty Air Force stationed in northern California. Being an Air Force mom is probably harder than I can even imagine. I'll be back in the middle east when my son is 6 months old, and I'll have to leave him with family for 6 - 8 months.
When we first found out I was pregnant, we didn't think it was something we were ready for. I remember him calling and scheduling an abortion because it was what he thought I wanted. I cried every day and night until finally I told him I could never and would never hurt my child. I am so glad I kept my baby. I'm so in love with him already.
Anyways. Pregnancy is NOT something my body took to very well. I didn't think morning sickness could ever be this bad. I ended up on Zofran at 13 weeks. I strongly recommend it by the way! And then there are the cramps, which have actually brought me to tears at work LOL. I feel like the biggest mess. But he's healthy.. all the tests so far came out great. His little heartbeat is 164!
