I had my baby girl Abigail on July 31st!!!! We could not be happier with our new bundle of joy! Now we are starting a new journey in our lives!!!

12/9/2007 - I just took my pregnancy test on Thursday of last week. Positive!!! I am so excitied/nervous/elated!! I scheduled a doctor's appointment on Tuesday just to confirm everything and find out how far along I am. We wanted to wait to tell people but it is so hard to do when we are so excited. My bf and I are already thinking of names and how to decorate the nursery so we are obviously getting ahead of ourselves. =D

I am so glad I found this website it is so great to read and share with others!!

12/12/2007 - I went to the doctor yesterday and everything looks good. =D She estimates my due date as August 15th. An August Baby!!! We are thinking Chloe for a girl or Logan for a boy. I am so excited! I have stocked up on all of the necessary vitamins and foods that my doctor suggested, so that the baby and I stay very healthy!! I do not have another appointment until the eleventh of January and I cannot wait.

Thanks! You baby is so adorable as well! I have a special place in my heart for babies with little hair on the head yet because they
look like little dolls :)

Hi, Thanks for your comment, your baby girl is beautiful too. Keeva was born on the 5th August so they are not that far apart. She had her 1st injections today and was so brave, only cried a little when the needle went in and she has been fine since. Hope we have an OK night. She's normally so good. Hope you're enjoying motherhood as much as me! x

Oh thank you so much :-D Ya, the bumbo was WELL worth the money! He just LOVES it, when they get older they can even eat in it, as it comes with a tray. Trent just sits in there and laughs and coo's to himself, so I handed him some soft rattle toys and he spends a hour in there easy and not get bored.

I bought mine of kijiji.com and got a brand new one for $30! If you go under there or ebay you're bound to find one for cheap.

Im up in Minnesota. The tan checkers looks a lot like it but looking closer it doesn't so much. I suppose there are alot of tan/yellow checkered blankets out there...

Thank you!! =) I was first going to dress her up as a bee but then I found this costume and I like it because its alot warmer so I can take her out trick-or-treating to a few houses. (I'm really close with my neighbors in my parents neighborhood and want to go show her and her little costume off! =) Haha)
Abigail is absolutely beautiful too!!!
I do have to ask, where are you from? The blanket you have on your daughter in that picture is the same blanket I received from my hospital as a gift!

Jasmineflower: I am a stay at home mom and it is not any easier. My house used to be always clean and in order and now it is a disaster. My little guy has colic and is mostly screaming and wants to be held. He barely sleeps during the day which means nothing gets done. When he does sleep the only thing I have time for is to pump, wash bottles, make more bottles, go to the bathroom, check my email, eat, and then he's awake again! So don't feel bad. I don't know how working mom's do it and I give you guys so much respect. Ahhhh.....he awakes!

monkeymamma - Friday, 26 September
I'm a working mom too! At lunch time I put a load of laundry in and fold anything piled on the couch from the night before. When I get home I move the laundry over and start another. (Only able to do this recently 'cause we lived in the country before-too far from work). The rest gets done on the weekend, or if I stay up later than usuall to get something done. I've started to not worry about it as much. People tend to understand.

roseplus1 - Friday, 26 September
Jasmine, I stoped worring about it. I am now work on the philospy that if it is important it will get done. I try to spend as much time with the baby as possible. When things need to be done I bring the baby into what ever room I am working in and try to talk to her as much as possible. But I will always focus more on the baby. As far as cooking....I think I have lost more wieght due to not eating :)

ladobruk - Friday, 26 September
Give yourself a break! I felt stretched thin for the first few months and that was without going back to work! It is an absolute shame that you have to be back at work already.
Mommy’s and babies need more time than that!
Don’t worry too much about the housework, enjoy your baby. It is a tough job doing both so don’t be hard on yourself. Do only what needs to be done. I found myself clearing out some clutter and removing unnecessary nick knacks and items because they were just something else to clean. It is much easier to dust and vacuum around my house now!

Tristan's surgery went well... he did good and Mom survived. I have to admit I CRIED when they carried him to surgery. His little head was peeking back over the nurse's arm trying to keep sight of me. I just wanted to go running after her to get him back.

phonics - Wednesday, 17 September
lol you two were bad! lol tricking that baby like that lol that is funny!

phonics - Tuesday, 16 September
lol np. What worked for you?

angelbabies14 - Monday, 15 September
i want to say maybe its just your smell or the comfort against your skin tell him to put a shirt of yours over his chest and snuggle her in tight or even try putting his bare skin against her cheek with the bottle feeds... try anything at least once lol my mom said those things worked with her 3 babies.

phonics - Monday, 15 September
It might sound mean, but what i did was I would nurse for like a minute adn then take it out and pop a bottle with breastmilk in there and she would drink it. I w as not able to pump much so then afte rthat we had to replace it with formula mixed nad then formula. You can try that. When she starts eating she will not want to stop and then will take the bottle.
