Hi! I'm Jennifer... My husband and I have been together for 11 years now and married for 1 1/2. We're best friends and have been through alot! I have had alot of health problems over the last 9 years... and last year I had my left ovary and tube removed (that was in July 07). My doctor had pressured me to go ahead and get pregnant as soon as possible, he was planning on sending me to a fertility specialist in Nov. 07. Being as insurance doesn't pay for fertility specialists, we decided to hold off and when/if God decided we were ready, it would happen. Well.... it did! We are now expecting our first child and are as happy as humanly possible! Life as we know it has changed tremendously... but in such a GREAT way! So excited to have somewhere to go to chat with other pregos and share my story... thanks i-am-pregnant!!!

Update 7/18/08

18.5 weeks! I went to doctor yesterday... we are both doing great! Baby is moving around like crazy you can hear it on the doctors dopplar and mine at home constantly (that's why i think it may be a boy...it's so active!) I have gained a total of 26 lbs :( but doc and nurses all say that is fine. a little unnerving for mommy, but whatever they say! I also have a concrete date and time for the anatomy ultrasound!!!!! Next Friday 9AM !!!! IM SOOOO EXCITED! I cannot wait to start buying stuff for it (and i can't wait to stop calling it "it"!) Hope all you ladies are doing great!!!

Update 8/15/08

I'm 22w5d !!! almost 6 months! I went in on July 25 and found out that we are having a little man :) his name is Daniel Michael. and today we went in for a checkup... my bp is "perfect" according to doc and daniels heart rate is too! i have gained quite a bit of weight so i gotta slow down with that :) haha! but that's ok... at least we're healty! I go back in 3 weeks for my glucose test... hear thats fun :P but just thought i'd let you know we are both great!!!
