Hi All,
I am currently pregnant with my second child. Last year, I gave birth to a big beautiful boy named Jaxon. Last year I also bought a house & car and married my high school sweet heart of 10 years (and the father of my son) Derek. Life is so crazy trying to juggle a full time job and taking care of a very active 13 month old (not to mention finding a little one on one time with hubby and time to be alone). This pregnancy, like the last, was not planned (obviously I'm not very good with oral contraception) so I can't even imagine how crazy life is going to get in a mere 4 months, but ready or not... My son was 9lbs, 6 ozs (OUCH!!) so I'm a little worried that my daughter (yes, we found out it's a girl :) is going to be a whopper too. I had a very difficult vaginal birth and recovery, so I'm hoping that this time around will go a little smoother. We had quite a scare when Jaxon came out (actually he was yanked out with forceps after 2 hours of pushing and several failed attempts at using a suction cup). His Apgar score was very low, but luckily it didn't take long for him to bounce back. I'm due on December 23, 2007, so I really hope that I either go a little early or a lot later because I would hate to miss out on the first Christmas that Jaxon can somewhat understand. Oh well, I guess that's up to my baby girl.
