Sunday, 6 April Yes, seek help. Your not digesting your food, you have signs of a urinary tract infection and the pain is probably just sciatica (sp?). All the problems could be inner related or completely indepentant of each other. The most troubling is the undigested food. bethjs -
Sunday, 6 April yeah thats not good... I wouldn't worry to much so don't put yourself into panic mode but I would definitely go to the doctor asap and get it checked out. undigested food shouldn't got through your body like that, if it's undigested that most likely means that your body also hasn't taken the nutrition out of it as well which means your baby isn't getting the nutrition either, so definitely get it checked immediately. I hope it helps. MelisaK -
Sunday, 6 April You know I wouldn't worry except the chunks of food thing. I definately think it needs to be checked out. Call the hospital and talk to a nurse in the L&D dept. It takes so long for the food to go from point A to point B that it should definately be digested. In all honesty if it were going through your body quickly it would be diarrhea...not chunks of food. Monday, 24 Mar Thanks for your message and the advise about finding a bra. Unfortunately, even motherhood does not have bras in my size. There are several cup sizes difference between a F and an I. Motherhood stops at H. Even my favorite maternity store here in Seattle maxes out at the I cup. It'll be interesting to find a bra once I outgrow this one. Sigh...I miss my former C/D cups... Friday, 14 Mar Oh I am SO jelouse. I want Red Lobster SOOOO bad. My hubby doesn't think it is a good idea since I have a mild allergy to shell fish. My eyes and lips and tongue get really itchy when I eat it (pre-Prego) but I love it so much it doesn't matter. I guess he is right I shouldn't eat it now and risk baby but man oh man I see those lobster fest commercials and I am drolling like my dog =) araya-sunshine -
Friday, 14 Mar Just don't eat too much lobster and crab! You must be careful because of mercury. bugsy20 -
Thursday, 13 Mar about eating cold lunch meat, I have been eating eat throughout the whole pregnancy. I asked my Dr. about it when I first got pregnant and they said it was fine. They said to just stay away from the deli meats that are cut fresh because you don't know how good they clean the blades and to not eat roast beef because it is usually served rare. I haven't had any problems and aren't concerned about it at all because after all, how would all of our mom's made it through there pregnancies. maky -
Monday, 10 Mar Your welcome. I actullay had an appointment the other day and asked if she the nurse if she could tell by the heartbeat what way the baby was laying and mine was head down at that time, but then she told me about how much more room it still has and when it will actually get in that permanent position. I remember feeling my son at 27 weeks getting in that head down position and ever since then he stayed there. He was my 2nd baby. So it was kind of early with him, but it was weird how I just knew he turned! maky -
Sunday, 9 Mar The baby still has a great amount of room. So they can be breach, head down and side ways from one moment to the next. At about 27-35 weeks is when they start to settle in the head down position. kelly714 -
Friday, 7 Mar My little guy doesnt have any real movement patterns yet, some days I feel him a lot and some, not so much. I can just now barely feel him on the outside sometimes. My husband hasnt got to feel him yet, Im hoping soon... ukdutypaid -
Friday, 7 Mar hey chick, sometimes the baby moves , if the baby is facing ur back they say u dont feel it at all, if the placenta is between u and the baby, that will also stop u from feeling it.... but dont think ur being silly by calling the doctor or midwife, .x.x.x. joshswife -
Friday, 7 Mar Just responding to your post on the 23 week page. My baby will have a couple days where I hardly feel anything and then it starts moving a lot. Just on Tuesday we saw it move from the outside, but before that I would have sworn there was no way you could. It seems like things can change almost overnight. Don't worry too much! angelbabies14 -
Monday, 3 Mar i didn't have to do the 24hr one, but if the doctor told you to start with the first morning pee then I would do that, I asked the Dr what's 1st morning cause I pee all thru the night and they said the longer it was in the bladder (like before we were pregnant maybe we slept for 6 or 7 hours and then had to pee in morning) they want to see the proteins and sugars and if we do it when we pee too much then its all watered down. Hope your pee comes out ok,,,lol :) I'm sure you'll be fine. One time I forgot to bring my pee to the Dr's office and they just let me go then and it was fine. Let me know how things go. mommyinthesky -
Monday, 3 Mar Hi, No, that is not how they had me do it. It does sound like it would be best for you to start over. The instructions they gave me were very clear, though I'm not sure what they are testing you for. Was your blood pressure suddenly high as well? They are testing me for preeclampsia which can show up toward the end, but maybe it shows up earlier in some. Anyway, here's what I had to do: I had to get up and pee as close to 7am as possible. You just pee into the toilet though, don't collect that first am sample. After you've gone at 7am, start collecting from that point on. For me, I didn't go again until 9am. So that was my first collection that I put in the jug. Then the jug must be refrigerated. So yes, all night long I had to get up, go in the container and then transfer it to the jug, then my husband would take it back downstairs to put in the refrigerator. You can put the jug on ice, but we didn't have any ice. So I did that for 24hrs starting Friday morning and then went for the last time around 9am on Saturday and then we brought it all to the lab. It's very important that every single time you go that you collect it. If you forget or miss a collection during the 24hr period, then you must start all over. So start tomorrow. Get up around 7am to go to the bathroom, don't collect it, then start collecting everything after that. You should be able to turn it all in by Tuesday late morning. Hope this helps. angelbabies14 -
Sunday, 2 Mar Which ever is the most concentrated for the first. The urine that has been in your bladder the longest. I thought about that too, especially when I get up a few times. mooboo35 -
Sunday, 2 Mar it probably depends when your appointment is to take in your pee, i am sure as long as you have enough time to collect 24 hrs of pee then that should be fine, hope all goes well for you ukdutypaid -

Thursday, 28 Feb I wouldn't worry to much about the numbness! It's pretty common during pregnancy. I get it in my hands and feet sometimes. blessed-in-atl -
