Hello Beautiful ladies,

My name is Hazel. My honey and I have been dating since the beggining of 2004. We got Engaged on Thanksgiving of 2005. We got married in Aug of 2007. We had a beautiful wedding...that I will never forget. In Sept '08 we got pregnant. We can't wait to meet our lil creation. During this whole journey, my husband has been very supportive and I couldn't ask for more. This has been an enjoyable journey. It's amazing all of the things your body does w/out you telling it what to do.God couldn't of done this better. Men can enjoy this journey w/ us but they will never feel those lil kicks and the the pride we feel carrying another being inside our bodies. I mean, this is quite an experience. I tell myself " I have life inside of me." I still can't believe it at times.

Anyhow, I wish you all the best of luck. I'm a lil nervous about giving birth...but will say that I plan on having a vaginal & med -free labor.

Today was my first visit at the doctors [after the previous visit when i was spotting].

It all went well. The doc got to hear/see the heartbeat....[i forgot which one of the 2 he said] & the baby is growing. I am blessed and thankful for all this. My heart melted when i saw the u/s. The doc gave me two photos so i could share with my husband. Anyhow - thanks to all of those who have shown me support. It's greatly appreciated. May the Lord bless you all. I'm going back in 3 wks (wk of Nov 1).

Today was my 2nd UltraSound. My husband joined me this time. As soon as the doctor was showing us the baby.. he/she started moving around and my eyes couldn't believe it. The baby was just dancing as in (showing-off) or something. It was unbelievable. My husband was amazed and the happiest man alive. My heart melted. The doctor gave us 3 diff pix of the baby. We even saw how he/she moved from one side to the other & saw the heartbeat again. Aww.. I am truly blessed like many of you. This is all just rewarding. Now, I'm supposed to go to a specialist to get my first trimester screening? It's supposed to be a screening to check for down-syndrome..etc. Once i get those results, i go back to the doc.

It was cute to see my baby girl count her lil toes as the doctor was doing the ultrasound. The doctor said she had never seen anything like that. She also made it very easy for the doctor to see what she was ( gender). The baby is very healthy and growing at it's rate. The baby now weighs 1 lb. Good !!

35th Week Check up - In total I've gained 26 lbs. The GBS TEST came back NEGATIVE. Thank God for that ! I lost a pound in these past two weeks. Blood pressure is good, weight is good, baby's heartbeat is excellent.

36th week check up - I've gained 3 lbs since the last visit. My hands feel like they want to swell up .. as well as my feet. But, it's not quite obvious just yet. My blood pressure was a bit high and I think it was b/c i was rushing to the doctor's office & the heat wave weather wasn't to my advantage either. Anyhow, - baby's heartbeat is great, tummy size is well & nxt week I get my cervix checked. Uh - Oh... getting nervous now...
