7/25/08 Update...I passed my glucose test!!! Woohoo!!! Happy Friday everyone!

So I guess I didn't post anything last month...what a bad mommy I am...nothing exciting happened tho. Now this appointment was much more exciting! I had my glucose test this morning and I think everything went fine...I'll prob find out the results tomorrow. I also got a quick ultrasound so we could see how the baby was laying...he's already head first! Woohoo! What a good little boy! And he's big! I mean, my belly measured right at 28 weeks, but he looks so much bigger than the last time I saw him! Oh! I can't wait to meet him! Trying to talk the hubby into the 3D/4D pix and dvd now too...i can't wait to see him!

Today was my third appointment! Got to hear the heartbeat once again...yay!!! Also scheduled my next appointment AND the Ultrasound!! So excited!! May 23rd is the big day! Can't wait!!!

Ok, so I'm oficially obsessed with the gender of my baby! Ha! I just went to fortunebaby.com and paid $17.95 for them to work their formula (it's refundable if they're wrong, so what do I have to lose, right?)......and IT'S A BOY!!!

Loving your nursery!!
Was kind of at a stand still on the nursery for a few days. Today we got a laser level and marked off the lines to hang the border (hopefully tomorrow).
Yesterday we went to the Value City furniture and bought a rocker/recliner that Mike will pick up Friday. Its a really nice microfiber rocker/recliner that was only $199, and I had a $50 off coupon on top of that, so it was cheaper than the gliders I was looking at.
I drink 5-7 liters of water a day (I've loved water since being pregnant!). My oldest sister swelled really bad during all her pregnancy's..maybe there's some heredity involved?
I had spagetti last night, and have been soo sick ever since. I haven't had pasta in a couple weeks or more. Think I got sick last time too. Wonder if its another thing I have to give up during pregnancy!

it was so great getting the 4D. Mine cost $200. I got a DVD of the entire u/s and a cd with all the still pics on it that she prints out (which was like 20 or 25) just in case you want to email them or print more later. It was definitely worth it in my book. I loved seeing her move around and knowing what body part it was that I was feeling moving in me.
This is my last baby so I really wanted one to show my kids when they are older, what kind of technology they had "back in the day". LOL

That's funny what you said about how I can return my mom's stuff since I never see her, cause I saw my green bath towels last night and started laughing thinking the same thing.....last christmas I asked for new bath towels; my bathroom is green, white and silver. My mom bought me gold towels. So I just went and exchanged them for green, and stressed about the day she would come over and see it. Well, going on August and she's still hasn't come over!! lol.

My family is a pain in the ass! Apparently what I decided I wanted for Logan doesn't matter. The pack n play mike's aunt gave us turns out to be dirty and broken, so I added one to my registry, but my sister and mom decided I don't need a pack n play. And mom's out looking for things like a snoopy swing...which I hope doesn't exist. Snoopy in the nursery is enough...I do not want snoopy all over my damn house! lol. It just goes on and on like that. I put a lot of thought, time and energy into my registry, why can' t I have what I want?

Hey Girl...I'm doing GREAT! Just trying to get everything in order before my little girl comes! We named her Rhylee Alivia. My hubby has been traveling a lot lately and it's been tough getting things done without him....I;m just a little slower at it.
So have you been feeling your little one move a lot? I have. She has a routine and I just love the feeling! I go for my 3 week check up on August 4th and then every 2 weeks after that until 35 weeks. Then they will see me every week. I can't believe how fast this is going now. I am in the third trimester alreay...Seems like yesterday that it was our 12 week point and then the 20 week ultrasound and now it's almost 28 weeks! I am excited!
So what did you do to your butt???? Ha! Did you fall or do you do a lot of sitting a work? Possible tailbone pain...If that's what it is, I can sympathize...It HURTS! Hope all goes well for ya. Sorry haven't written lately...I was having trouble with the website or my computer not sure which one and I couldn't get on for a while then I have just been checking messages. Been busy. I promise to check in more often.
By the way...I love you hair in the pic with your hubby! Very cute!

I can't believe how fast time goes! And I feel like there is so much to do and so little time!
We got all the exercise equipment out of the nursery and moved the dresser in, ect. Its not supposed to be so hot this week, so hopefully I can accomplish alot more in there this week.
I got my registration packet from the hospital a couple days ago. Kind of exciting! I forgot that I need to find a pediatrician too.
I'm really weird lately...I'll be all happy and accomplish alot one day, no matter how physically bad I feel, and then the next day I can't seem to do anything and I'm all depressed about everything and think I'm fat and such. Wish I knew in advance how my hormones would be so I can plan my week accordingly. lol.
My feet swelled so bad Saturday that I couldn't wiggle my toes! It was real painful, but I just couldn't help but laugh at how funny it was.
I'll be on the look out for those belly pics....

That sounds like a really nice little vacation!
Mike was trying to talk me into Vegas the other day. He was saying things like 'air conditioning, swimming pools, slot machines'..hehe.
Funny, my lil' sis called yesterday and was chatting about my shower and said "Mom wants to get the cake; she'll probably get white. I'm sorry." lol.
I finished painting the nursery and painted the "Logan" letters, but now I'm at a stand still cause I'm waiting for Mike to move his crap out and move the big exercise bike out of there. But been too hot to accomplish much in there the past few days anyway.

Hope they get the furniture right this time! That had to be a killer...all excited and then let down like that.
I got the stroller I wanted the other day. Found it brand new on ebay for $55 less than in the stores! When I put it all together, reality must have hit Mike again, cause he stared at it and said 'so there's really going to be a little person in there, huh?'

When we settled on Logan, I was happy it was 'different' enough cause we knew of no Logan's and that babynames.com had it way down on the SSA list. For some reason just now, I actually went to the SSA website, and Logan is #5 in OH!! Darn it!! Still gotta be better than another MIchael...I would lose count listing all the Michaels I know!! lol.

I find a way to rationalize the cheating too. So far for the baby registry, I tell myself its so I have an idea ahead of time of how much I didn't get and I'll have to buy on my own...lol. I was surprised to see someone shopped already; my family usually waits til the week before also.
My step MIL is back in the hospital. She was able to have fake breast put in right after they removed her breast and the cancer, and the damn hospital gave her a staph infection! So now she had to have her fakes removed and is in isolation at the moment..so can't even visit. I hear about the hospitals giving patients staph infections alot these days; makes me kind of scared that I'll be in the hospital soon!
I had some request for my shower, but they mainly revolved around my stomach issues. I wanted it at my mom's house where there are 3 private bathrooms, wanted the shower in August, and wanted at 1pm or after (stomach is usually real touchy in the morning and I have over an hour drive to get to my shower). My sisters are in charge of the shower, so they easily went along with what I wanted, and even nice enough to make is so early in August! Mom would have been another story. And I hate showers..just love the presents..so I told them to keep in real short and not waste lots of money on it. So they are doing it at 2pm and not serving lunch, just appetizer like foods. My mom is all pissy about that...she really wants to serve a real lunch, including chicken! lol. I've always hated white cake. I LOVED chocolate cake, and kind of like yellow cake. But suddenly 3 years ago my mom forgot this and keeps trying to make me eat white cake..just did it on the 4th. Getting the cake is my mom's only shower job, besides supplying the house, and I will be so pissed if its white cake!! lol
And I don't think you're being a b*tch, but then that could be cause I'm a demanding prego b*tch too. hehe.

Me and my sisters think their is something seriously mentally wrong with our mom. Got her to try a shrink last year but she quit going cause the doc didn't agree with her! Now she saw a new one a few weeks ago, but the doc is a 25 yr old woman who apparently believes and agrees with everything my mom says...what help is that?!
That sucks about your dad. Seems like everyone is getting laid off anymore!
Haven't felt too bad today, so I got caught up on some housework and errands, so now I am sooo sore! lol.
Its my digestive issues giving me the worst problems...but it is pregnancy's fault that its so bad. Can't wait for this to be over so I can go back to taking my medicine that makes it 90% better!
And definetely will not get pregnant again without central air! lol.
Logan still stays sooo low. Always kicking me in the bladder and intestines. Think that could also be why its harder to feel him on the outside. And he still isn't really all that active...doesn't seem at all like some of you describe.

We've been wanting to buy a camcorder too..just never seem to get around to shopping for one. Its been on the 'to-do-list' for months now.
My mom called today, acting like we never fought yesterday, and is acting dumb like she doesn't know where I registered at, when I know 2 of my sisters told her. But then keeps talking about going to Toys R Us! Why wouldn't she go to where I'm registered at?! And she kept talking about a baby carseat that I didn't pick out. I would think the best gift should come from a girls mom, but my mom wants to buy me something I don't want. ARGH!
How have you been feeling? I have felt like complete crap for the past 2 days. The temperature drops tomorrow, so hoping that will make me feel better.
