It's a BOY!! This is my first and I'm due May 15. We just found out my bro's girlfriend is also pregnant and she is due the SAME week as me! A boy also. Wow, it's gonna be a crazy time in our family. I was pretty shocked to find out it was a boy because I had completely convinced myself it was a girl, but it was clear as day. The more time goes on, the more I get excited to have a little boy first. This is also the first on both sides (besides the other one due the same time, of course) and our families couldn't be more excited!!

Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Tuesday, 22 April I have the Ameda Purely Yours pump and have used it for my last 2 children. It has held up well. I have replaced the tubing and valves. Mine is almost 7 years old, but I plan on using it again. It is a little less expensive than the Medela. Just another option to consider! =0) nmd1970 -
Friday, 14 Mar out of all the research i've done on breast pumps, medela is the best. the motor lasts longer than the others. lilmomma -
Friday, 14 Mar I like the 'medela pump in style' I would strongly recommend not buying a used one. Unless they are hospital grade pumps where everything can be replaced....their is a possibility that any disease / infection / contamination that the prior owner had can be passed through....at least that's what the lactation specialist said to me. However....if you are just using one that a close family member or close friend used...I would say it is okay as long as you know their background and get replacement tubing / cones / storage containers. Friday, 14 Mar I liked the Medela pump. Yes it is spendy but check your hospital to see if you can rent one. That is what I did and I will do it this time too. I don't think I would buy used. I read somewhere that you shouldn't. I think you can rent them through WIC too if you have that in your area. You might try calling a pediatrician too to see what information they may have regarding renting. Hope this helps!!

Wednesday, 5 Mar I had my dr's appointment today and baby is measuring 3lbs, 7 ozs. My doctor suggests that I watch my carb intake. I will do my best, but I feel like I was doing good all along. ladybug85 -
Tuesday, 26 Feb i'm glad to hear other people have 3 pounders at this stage...lol! the tech made it sound like he was the biggest baby ever! i was worried i was eating too much or all the wrong things...i'm doing my best to eat healthy and exercise. i've gained 19 pounds so far! mommyroe -
Tuesday, 26 Feb how can the doc tell precisely how big your baby is? did you have another ultrasound? bittybop -
Monday, 25 Feb Drop-ins were awesome with my first baby and to warm them I just sat them in a cup of warm water for a few minutes. I never had a warmer so can't advise on that. Anyway, loved the convenience of the drop-ins. I did try some store brand generic liners but I recommend the Playtex ones, as the others broke easily (YUCK!) A lot of times the drop-ins packaging will have coupons you can use also on your next purchase. Mommy2Ava -
Monday, 25 Feb I am planning on using only GLASS bottles because 90% of plastic baby bottles contain bisphenol A which is toxic. Read up http://www.greenlivingonline.com/Family/plastic-baby-bottles-found-to-be-toxic/ heather1218 -
Monday, 25 Feb on the bottle input! i used the drop-in ones with my daughter and i loved them! i am going to breastfeed but when i do go back to work i will use drop-in ones. i don't think they got to exspensive but then again just my opinion. OurBabyBean0508 -
Monday, 25 Feb I actually got 2 different kinds. Newborns can be quite picky and will prefer one type of bottle over another. So, we bought a few Avent bottles and a few Ventaire bottles. I used the ventaire ones with my son and I really liked them because they can be taken completely apart. Monday, 25 Feb hey, I had to take my rings off too cause they were way too tight. I put mine on a really pretty chain and wear them all the time around my neck. I have had them off for about 2 weeks and it is driving me nuts not having them to play with all the time! But I feel better having them around my neck!! Just a thought! firstmaybaby -
Sunday, 24 Feb im buying the avent line for my bottles. now you can go the route or buying the playtex drop ins, yes they can get expensive but if you have a dishwasher you can actually reuse them til they start to wear down. my mom used to do that with my sister and it saved her some money. hope that helps bellakimmie -
Sunday, 24 Feb About the bottles, I used the AVENT bottles with my last baby, and I loved them. They have a large opening to them and it makes it easy for mixing formula. :) frannymum -
Sunday, 24 Feb Hi, Have you thought about putting your wedding ring on a chain and wearing it around your neck? That is what I am going to do once mine is too small :) danish-girl -
Monday, 18 Feb Hi! I went to the midwife today and told her about the cold sensation. She had no idea and she said that it is nothing to worry about. Maybe a doctor will know more :-) If you see your doc or something dont forget to ask - it would be nice knowing what it is :-)

Tuesday, 12 Feb How about Baylin..I loved that name for a boy, but I am having my third girl!!! danish-girl -
Monday, 11 Feb Hello Jekkab!
I get that cold sensation too! I am so happy you asked that question because I've been wondering about it :-) Mine is low in the uterus but I guess it could be something to do with the position of the placenta or baby or whatever :-) I think I'll ask my midwife on monday and then I'll let you know :)
Best wishes to you and your baby!

Saturday, 9 Feb It's just my opinion, but you really don't want to name your own child something that doesn't feel comfortable to either you or your hubby. I'd keep looking in baby books, etc until you find something both of you love. Sometimes it's hard to decide on anything until you see your baby for the first time. MelisaK -
Saturday, 9 Feb It really stinks when you cannot agree on a name. I was in tears with my last son b/c my husband and I could not agree. We finally agreed on Colin Matthew. Have you thought about maybe combining Dallen and Jaden...maybe Jalen? Just a suggestion, it will come to you guys, be patient. dueinmay -
Saturday, 9 Feb Is it pronounced Dylan? sharonleigh -
Saturday, 2 Feb I would sooo not give in to them pressuring you. I wouldnt even worry about what your husband thinks. It's you that's spread eagle. Not to mention that you're going to be in pain and stressed and you dont want to make it any more uncomfortable for yourself. You have to stand your ground and just nicely explain that it's not something that you are comfortable with. :)BE STRONG!!
