Yeah-Her room is really bright colors and flowers. The walls are orange-and I love it! I thought you were going to do the rainforest theme. That will be so cute. I want to see it. Last I heard, you and your husband couldnt agree on any names-so I am glad you decided on one. Your right-that is the hard part. I like Kyla. It is different, but not too far out there.

I have her room decorated-but I dont have any of her clothes hung up. We are having a baby shower next weekend-so I figured I might as well wait until then. I'd rather do it all at once. That is the worst part-putting all the little final touches on everything. What did you decorate your daughters room in? And-what are you naming her?

Hey...I just noticed they have a pets and infants forum on here...maybe post on there for ideas and to see if any are boxer families??

Hey, read your post in the week 33 forum. my dog baby isn't a boxer, but I have been doing alot of research, cause he is the only baby right now, and bringing home some competition is sure to make things tense...I have found these tips to make things easier...
1. after baby is born, have someone bring home a blanket or onsie or seomthing that will smell like baby. Give it to the pup to do with as he pleases.
2. Before baby is born, leave a few baby things lying around so that he'll get used to them.
3. Make sure that you still give your doggy baby all the love he always gets. Don't make him feel like he has to compete with the baby for attention.
I have heard wonderful things about boxers and babies, so I am sure you will have some luck there!

you know what is weird? when I was preggo with my son, I had terrible heart burn. I would eat a bottle of tums in a week!!!! This time, I haven't had much at ALL!!! I have had lots worse back pain and nausea this time around though. Both of my pregnancies are different as night and day. I feel for you with the heartburn-I know it is NO FUN

I was just reading your post on the 33 week board. I have a boxer too, and am a little nervous about bringing baby home and how he'll react. He's a year old, and a great dog and awesome with my 2 SS, but I think he'll get over excited about a baby. He listens pretty good though, so I'm sure he'll be fine. If you're nervous about it maybe have someone bring home something (a blanket) that smells like baby before you get your little one home so they'll at least get used to the new smell...

MikeysGirls - Friday, 4 July
It's ok I only get oon every so often these days myself- things are going pretty well here! Glad to hear they are the same for you, yeah the little stinker moves alot which I'm glad about, she had a couple of days where she was quieter and it worried me because she moved alot the whole week prior, but then the last few days she has picked up again so I'm feelin' good, plus also I finally got a new doctor now and after a month and a half of not hearing her heart beat I got to, so yaaay! We're almost theeere, I'm scared now of delivery as I start to think about it more, hehehe, like dang! It's going to be intense, and it's not something I was really focused on the last 7 months ya know? Now it's like the big thing is- "to epidural, or not to epidural" tough call.. have you decided which way you are going with that?

MikeysGirls - Sunday, 22 June
Hey there girly, how you feeling these days?

2ndtimearound@25 - Friday, 6 June
I love green-so Im sure I would love your nursery!!! We turned our old office (which is bright orange) into the nursery. We are doing bright green, blue, purple, and pink to go with the orange. We are decorating in flowers - lily's. I like it. It is something she can grow with. Just hope she isn't a tomboy-ha ha ha.

2ndtimearound@25 - Thursday, 5 June
Yes we finally picked out a name. We decided on Lily because it is both of my grandmothers names and the middle name will be Gale which is mine and my mothers middle name.

I am starting to get very bad sciatic pain also. I went to the Chiropractor for it the first pregnancy-but am trying to hold off as long as possible this time around. I can fall asleep just fine-but cant stay asleep for very long.

and-have you picked out a name?

2ndtimearound@25 - Monday, 2 June

LOL same here- Haven't checked that out lately at all myself they are so ignorant! your mom's b'milk, lol, right though seriously, just because someone else MAY have gotten lucky (although by the way they talk i don't think they really did get "lucky" hehe >:) doesn't mean you should feel good about taking chances, RAR, yeah and damn don't get defensive about it, just know we're right and do what your gonna do anyway, I just really do hope my kid will never meet theirs mwahaha ;op just ranting, anyway on a positiveeee.. CONGRATS ON YOUR GIRLY! Yess we are having a girly girl also, I am SO excited about it.. I kept telling myself before we found out that I just wanted baby healthy... but I just STILL wanted a girl deep down, couldn't help it, finally talked myself into accepting a boy (lol how mean) but was relieved (Just excited!) when i saw it was a girl. There are just some boy things I wasn't excited about dealin' with.. ya know?

MikeysGirls - Wednesday, 21 May
