Its a Baby Girl!!!

Madison Cecilia!!!!!!!

This is my first baby, but will be my husbands fourth. We are super excited and cant wait to have our little baby here!! I am an anxious/nervous first timer but am trying to chill out :)

Jan 6/08

This will be a busy two days coming up for me. I have my doctors appt tomorrow and I go for my ultrasound Tues! Hopefully I will get to find out what we are having:) Still having pins and needles in my legs, I guess its just something I will have to get used to. I am also still anxiously awaiting feeling the baby move!! Soon I hope.

Jan 7/08

Had my doctors appt this morning. My Ips screening came back and everything looks fine. Babys heartbeat was 147 this morning. Doctor said I should start feeling the baby move soon but not to worry, it will happen!! Go for my ultrasound tomorrow afternoon and will hopefully get to find out the sex!!! Im sooo excited!!!!!!

Had my ultrasound this afternoon, they dont tell you anything, I guess you have to wait to hear how it went from the docor. Little baby didnt want to move around too much! Got to see the face, arms part of the spine, a foot and the bum!! As for the most exciting part of the news I got to find out the sex and they say it looks like a GIRL!!!!!!!!! They say no guarantees but they didn't see any little boy parts while they did the ultrasound. Im soooooo happy!!! Im getting a disc of the ultrasound on Friday so I will post the pics onceI get them!!!!!

Wow!! Am I ever achy today, all of a sudden my tummy is sore/dull ache from the top all the way around the right side, its even sore when I rub it. Then to top it off my back started hurting as well. The girls at work say its just my tummy stretching. I just want to feel good, no cramping,aches or pains but I guess I will have to wait for June for that!!LOL Atleast the end result is going to be worth it when our little baby arrives!!! Maybe Im just having a whiny day today!!!!

Feb 4/08

Came home to a nice surprise today, my hubby painted the nursery and it looks amazing. I am finally over my UTI and then a cold. Still am not feeling regular movements, hopefully soon. I go to the doctors Thursday so it will be nice to hear the babys heartbeat since Im not really feeling her move yet. Cannot believe that its week 23 already, I get to meet my OB at the end of the month so far Ive been seeing different doctors every month at the clinic. i just cant wait for the day I can hold my precious little baby!

Feb 7/08

Went to the doctors today and got to hear the heartbeat which was great since Im still not feeling much movement. Was told that I have a low lying placenta that is right next to my cervix. She was hopeful that it will move, but told me that by 30 weeks if it has not moved I would probably be put on bed rest because they dont want me to dialate and have the placenta slip into the cervix. Have an ultrasound booked for two weeks from now so hopefully it will have moved......fingers crossed!! My blood pressure has also been steadily increasing so they may have to start monitoring it more closely. Wow and i thought I was just having a little check up today. I was soo upset when I left, I just felt like I never get anything positive out of these doctors appts. So for now I can work and then rest rest rest!!

Feb 15/08

Well we have finally picked out a name for our baby girl after numerous changes we have come to a final decision. MADISON CECILIA, I like Madison so I can call her Maddy and Cecilia is for my husbands grandmother (who was like his mother) who passed away two weeks ago. I have no appts scheduled for next week all are booked for the last week of Feb. I will have an ultrasound to check on the placement of my placenta which will have hopefully moved, I will also have my diabetes test and then to round out the week my appt with my ob. Hope everyone is doing great!!!

Feb 24/08

Well I am heading into my week of appts, first my ulltrasound to see if my placenta has moved.......fingers crossed. Then the appt for the diabetes test, then to round out the week my 26 week appt. I have been having the hardest time sleeping the last few days........I think Im beggining to look like a raccoon :) If anyone has any suggestions for help with the sleeping thing, they would be greatly appreciated, I am also back on antibiotics for yet another UTI !!! Never had one before getting pregnant now it seem to be atleast once a month...crazy!! The nursery is coming along nicely. Hubby put together the change table we bought this weekend. He is getting more and more excited as am I !!! Hope everyone is doing great :) Wow week 26 here we come!!!!

Feb 25/08

Well, I have taken everyones advice and went and got a snoggle pillow. Even the lady that worked the cash at the store said that she is 7 months pregnant and is addicted to hers. I cant wait to go to bed, hopefully it will really work! :)

Feb 28/08

Had my 26 week appt today. My due date has been pushed back by two days so I am now due on June 4th. Doc said everything else seemed fine. She did not have the results of the diabetes test or my last ultrasound yet so I dont know if my placenta has moved or not. Got to hear the babies heart beat which is always nice and just like with the ultrasound she started kicking right away. Still having trouble sleeping but think I am actually getting used to it at this point :) So unless something comes up its four weeks until my next appt. I am getting more and more excited and just cannot wait for June to get here!!!!

Mar 4/08

Just heard from the doctor about my 26 week ultrasound and my placenta has not moved at all... so im still on the no lifting, feet up and no sex plan!!!! I have to go for another ultrasound in three weeks so hopefully....fingers crossed it will have moved! Atleast I am now offically in the Third Trimester..........the home stretch!!!!! :)

April 16/08

Well had my check up appt today and my placenta has moved which is awesome news!!! At my 30 week ultrasound the baby was measuring 32.5 weeks!! My doc said to expect a big baby!! Then I told her about some of the cramping ive been having and the next thing i know Im at the hospital having a FFN test. Thankfully it came back negative!! Anyways just a quick little update :)
