my little guy isn't needing anything extra in the calorie department either :-) I am curiouse to see how much he weighs at his 2 month checkup, which I have had NO time what so ever to schedule.

hi jenn, what are you up to? i am doing better. I think Hayden is better, but does not want to be put down. I tell ya, he is the worst of the three to date. ha ha ha... He was sleeping so soundly, i put him down to post to you and now he is fussing. ha ha ha gotta go

I started offering very runny rice cereal at about 4 months. My oldest took to it right away, my second didn't get the hang of it really untill about 5 months but I offered it a little bit every day from 4 months and by the time I got to my third I was lazy and didn't get started till 5 months. My best friend started her son at 3 months and he's fine. Well, he has odd eating habits, he only wants to eat fruits and veggies. When he was one he would pick thru mixed chicken and broccoli chunks and throw all of the chicken on the floor, but other than that he's fine :-)

i am with you on that. i think that he has reflux so i am keeping him on his stomach more, which is much better for him, but I have to watch him closely when he is on his stomach. oh well, i thought i could type to you now, but he is fussing again. gotta go

 aw he does! Too cute! I dont like putting Eden in hats cuz it covers her pretty hair. But your lil man looks darling in them. I had a glow worm when I was a baby so we just got one for little miss.

ahhh I see, no our swing motor is really quiet...
that def might make a difference. But my first one could sit in her swing for hours, but maybe she was older than. My second one now...its an every now and then sorta thing. Like today trying to do some laundry and I would sit her in it....not happening.

must be nice. noah is a nice name. i have done the birdhouse before. was it the home depot kit or from regular wood? i know it was nice to get away. now that hayden is 4 wks, i am about to do the same. need time to myself or with the other kids without the baby.

lol i hate doing laundry PERIOD! my hubby does it! lol. and thanks! braeden's a ham! lol. we're not that far from the water. depends what beach.. but i dont think anywhere in hawaii is very far from the water. lol. we're probably about 30 min from the beach

I just read in "The Baby Book" by Dr Sears that smiles are not caused by gas. There are inside and outside smiles. THe iside ones are sleep grins, relief grins, and grins that show they are content. Outside smiles are in response to a stimulus and they come in the second month, not at first. I was happy to read that because I was sick of hearing that my baby has gas.

well, it would be nice if this baby would let me type sometimes. he is fussing right now. i think he is spoiled. sorry your 5 yr old is slightly jealous. i have been able to cook some meals, wash clothes, and clean the kitchen. it varies though. today will not be productive. ha ha ha

lol yeah i wouldnt give up breastfeeding b/c of that. it's too important! and i can't remember how long it took for the pain to go away.. i guess that's b/c mine wasn't that bad. lol. it's awesome living in hawaii. i love it! yeah this is my first baby and i'm loving every minute of being his mommy! =) where are you from? how do you like having 3 kids? i dont think i could do it! lol. all 3 of them are gorgeous!
