Hi everybody! My name is Jenn and my husband just celebrated our first wedding anniversary on January 14th, 2008. We'll have been together for 5 years in April of 2008. We've been attempting to conceive our first child for about a year now. We had a miscarriage in September 2007 early on in our pregnancy and while we are still very sad about our loss, we're still trying! I am a slowly recovering POAS addict (an expensive and emotional habit!) and I love to chart my BBT. I've read too many TTC and preg. books to count and hope I will be a great mom when my time comes. BFP here we come!!!

January 17th, 2008: So AF showed her ugly face yesterday and I am super bummed. I somtetimes feel like giving up because I get so sad every time she shows up. I know our baby will come to us when it is time. We will try "harder" next time!

January 29th, 2008: Well, started trying again two days ago because I should be ovulating any day now according to my bbt chart and cm. I have a different outlook this month on life in general. I'm going to take every day as it comes and not hold myself up to ridiculous timelines and expectations. I know that our chance to have a baby will come, maybe this month, maybe in five years. Either way, my husband and I are so happy together, we can be patient for however long it takes for our baby to arrive. We've got our whole lives ahead of us. it's biology at work in my body when I feel this yearning to be pregnant now and I have to learn to allow nature to run its course. So my theme for this month is patience and selflessness. I will keep my fingers crossed that our bding will get us somewhere this month!

February 7th, 2008: Two week wait! (Actually 17 days). According to my BBT and everything else, we ovulated and bd'd as much as we could (every other day to keep the sperm count high). Hoping hoping hoping for that BFP! Fingers crossed! Have a regular dr.'s appt. tomorrow and a GYN appt. on Monday. Hoping everything will go well.

February 15th, 2008: 7 days until testing--I might die before then. My husbad will kill me if I take the test any sooner. I don't blame him. No real prego symptoms. Slightly sore boobs, that happens before my period too, so we'll see. GYN appt. went well, they might refer me to a fertility specialist in 2 cycles if we're not pregnant by then. We'll be doing the semen test next cycle too if we're not pregnant by then.

It will happen, that's what I keep telling myself. We'll be pregnant soon and then I will be wishing that I wasn't pregnant anymore!
