Hi I'm Jenna. I had my little girl Ava Madison on September 17th 2007. I am married to my high school sweetheart Steve. He is an electrician and I'm currently a stay at home mommy, though I will be going back to work soon. We have 2 boxer puppies and a kitty cat. i am not on here as often as I used to be. I kept a journal on here throughout my whole pregnancy and I hope to keep up with a new one while she gets older.

WOW!! It's been a loooong time since I last updated! Been too busy I guess! Haha. Well I found out at my 39 week checkup that my little one was breech, so we scheduled a c-section for Monday September 17th, 4 days before my due date. We went in to the hospital at 9 am and had Ava at 1:53 pm. A beautiful and healthy baby girl! She was 6 lbs. 15 oz. and 19 inches long. She is now almost a month old ( I can't believe how fast it goes!!). We have had some issues with her feedings, I was breast feeding but it just did not work out, which was ok because I was not producing enough milk and she was not latching on correctly and we both were miserable. We went to using Similac Advanced and that made her have awful tummy aches and constipation. She is now on Enfamil Gentlease and using Dr. Browns bottles and things seem to be getting much better. She sleeps around 5 hours straight, wakes up for about an hour and then sleeps again for about another 4 hours ate night. Which I have no complaints about! She has however been colicky, throwing temper fits and pulling her legs to her tummy, but I think the new formula and bottles will definitely start to help. She is wonderful and we love her so much, and thank God every day that she is healthy and happy. She is also very alert, and has been since birth. Very strong too, she has been holding her head up practically since she was born. She is a very strong little thing with an amazing attention span. Well that's about it for now, this has been the first time I have had a chance to update in a loooong time, and I don't know when I will get to do it again!! :)

Well today is Ava's 4 month birthday!! She went to the docs yesterday and weighs in at a whopping 11 lbs. 11 oz.! And 24 inches long. She is a teeny little nugget but she is following her curve perfectly. She is very healthy and happy. Not rolling yet but trying. I know it will be soon. She loves her cereal and veggies too. She is very bright and alert and is always turning her head to look at everything and take it all in. She laughs and smiles all the time and is always very pleasant. I can take her anywhere with me, she is the perfect baby I swear! She is sleeping from 11 pm to 8 or 9, sometimes 10 am, in her crib!! I am so blessed. I don't remember my life before her. I know all you mommy's feel the same. Well that's enough bragging for tonight. Hopefully it won't take me as long next time to update!! :)

So m little one is 9 months, I haven't been on here in forever!!! She is doing so well, she says dada and the other day said mama for the first time. She is walking with a pushy toy, and is starting to crawl. She loves fruits and veggies and cereal puffs. Her appointment is in a few days and I'm guessing she is around 16 pounds. Still teeny but starting to chub up. She is my little angel, she is such a happy baby, sleeps all night and takes great naps. She is such a ham too, loves having her pictures taken.
