I am so excited about this pregnancy I have had 4 miscarriages & I do have two wonderful boys. I thought I would never have any more children & this is such a blessing! I am so excited!!

4/23/07 went today for the triple screen test I am nervous like all you other mommies I also go back thurs for a check up ~ I am so excited they have been saying because of the heartbeat sounded like a girl today the nurse said sounded like a boy ~ just healthy I pray every day!!! Good Luck to everybody!!

4/26/07 I am 17 weeks & 2 days I have already gained 10 lbs I told my doctor I knew I needed to go on a diet & he said he thought I was doing great (I know I am the one who has to loose all this weight) ~~~ anyway I am going to try to keep walking my 2 miles a day so I can keep it off but it hasn't helped yet ~ the nurse said it sounded like a boy yesterday ~ she was right with my others ~ but I really don't know that the heartbeat can tell ?? I am suppose to call on Friday morning to see if they have the results of my tri screen test ~~ pray it all looks good!

4/27/2007 the nurse just called & said my triple screen test results were perfectly normal ~~ Thank God I am so happy ~~ I still pray every day for the health of my sweet baby

4/30/2007 ~ Both of my boys want a girl now that is so crazy ~~~ they are kissing my belly & both said I hope it's a girl & if they tell you it's a boy I hope they are wrong they could be wrong ~ my oldest was set on a boy & now he does not want one ~ my little one has always wanted a girl (& with blonde hair to be exact) ~~~ well I sure hope either they get their girl OR they learn to love a little brother ~~~ I am suprised either of them would want a girl at all! Feeling my baby move all the time like a little monkey ~~ I cannot wait to see my sonogram on May 15th 2 weeks & one day!

5/15/07 IT'S A BOY!! Just got back from the dr's office & said baby looked very healthy & was 11 oz so far ~ right on schedule & was for sure a boy ~~ I am meant to be out numbered in my household!!! Will let everybody know what my boys think they both wanted a girl ~~~

6/28/2007 Thought I would update that everything is going great! I have gained like 21 lbs & it's getting harder to get around next week I will be in my third trimester I cannot believe it & I am getting so excited I cannot wait to hold my sweet little angel ~ I think this baby will be a little butterball he seems like a big baby ~ most other boys were 8-9 lbs so I am thinking this one will be big! More in July!!!

8/4/07 ~~Well I passed my glucose test & my blood pressure looks good I am getting fat I have gained 28 lbs so far & growing daily!!! I gained 5 lbs in the last 2 weeks which cannot be good! My dr did say they would induce me one week early if all looked good so that would be awesome!!! Which would put me around the 25th of September! We are into the month of August now so I am very excited about that but it is so hot i have never been pregnant thru the summer this long I delivered my last son in June 24 03 so it wasn't nearly this bad not to mention the humidity is awful ~~~ but I am glad to wear shorts & tank tops even if I look like a beached whale in them! I was asked this morning by a lady she said I looked like I was due to have a baby any day ~~~ Well gee thanks!!! How's that for a compliment~!! I told her I wish but had two months to go I wanted to say more but what do you do!!

9/25/2007 Went to the hospital to be induced maybe around 11am ~~ I had the group b strep so they wanted to start the antiobotics for 4 hours so they did that for 1 hour & then barely started my induction medicine (they prob didn't get anything going till 12:30 or 1:00) they wanted me to be able to get my second dose of antiobotics before really pumping up the contractions ~~~ so about 5:00 they gave me my second dose of antiobotics & then they broke my water ~ still was maybe at a 3 not totally thinned out maybe 50%! This was all about 6:00 ~~~ then maybe 9:00 I think I was still at a 3 they hadn't really bumped up my petocin(I think that is what it is called?!) So I had already gotten my epidural & I could feel contractions kind of ~ the baby's heartrate kept dropping the nurse said he could have his cord around his neck or arm well this sceared me to death!!!!! They gave me oxygen for the baby ~ My dr checked me & I was maybe a 4 & about 80% effaced he said it could be 15 min or 5 hours this is about 10:00 I told my nurse I felt a lot of pressure about 10:20 I was really hurting but I kept thinking well I cannot be any further along cause I am only at a 4 she said she would get the dr to check me I told her really I was hurting she checked me she said don't move don't push! She said you are 100% effaced & at a 10 she got on the phone for the dr & I pushed twice his head was out & then one more time & he was out ~~~ his cord was wrapped around his neck he was purple & wasn't crying I was soooooo sceared!!!! He took him over to the little crib & blew some air on him & stuff & he started screaming! It was the best sound ever! He was 8 lbs 5.9 oz & 21 inches long ~ His name is Lane Ashton & he is so beautiful & perfect!!!! We are so blessed!!!!!!
