About strech marks I didn't get them with my son until I was like 35 weeks. If you have them from any other time, like puberty, you will likely get them somewhere.

ashleymarie0385 - Thursday, 24 July
lol I would throw that book away! Your body goes through the most growth in the last few weeks of pregnancy.. Stretch mark come from your skin not being able to keep up with the crazy amount of growth. Also genetics have much to do with it. A lot of women get them in the last 10 weeks or so of pregnancy so keep rubbing on the lotion!! Your not out of the woods yet!! Good luck!

Hey Jenni,

How are you? I get menstual type feeling cramps too off and on... pretty annoying. I would totally mention it to your Doctor. I mean why not? I plan to at my appt which is Monday. But I have heard the drink more water thing from a million people so that is probably a good idea too. Good luck babe! :)

hotpotaaaaato - Friday, 18 July
make sure you're drinking enough water... dehydration can cause the crampy feelings and also pre-term labor.

I know how you feel, with my first pregnancy when I found out I was pregnant my parents where so happy because it was there first grandchild. Then like three weeks later my sister in law found out she was pregnant. I was so mad because I wanted all the attention, but I felt bad for not being happy for them. Well now my daughter, and nephew are two weeks apart. I still dislike it because they are so close that everyone thinks we should have their parties together, and everything else. I on the other hand, want my daughter to have her special day and her grandparents attention...lol but it is also cool that my daughter has someone so close to age, bc she will always have a friend to play with

So i found out i was pregnant in february and then two months later my sister found out she was pregnant. I have never been able to have the spotlight to myself so i know exactly how you feel. I have the morning sickness and all of the generic symptoms of pregnancy and she gets a headache and doesnt get out of bed and everyone ismore sympathetic towards her because she is old enough and ready to have a baby(basically they are happy she is married whereas i am just dating) so the whole thing sucks. Just try to think of the good the kids will be close in age and probably be good friends.

Hey - I think that you have the right to be a bit mifft - pregnancy hormones aside. My brother-in-law and his wife were expecting their 1st baby this past spring and I intentionally waited to tell the family that we were pregnant with our second until after their baby was born, so that they could have the limelight....I ended up being about 4 mos. along before I said anything, but I think it was good that they could get all of the attention - especially with their first....I thought it was the courteous thing to do - not necessary, but nice.

Ha ha, your sister-in-law sounds just like mine!!! I hate that she has done this to you but I'm also glad knowing I'm not the only one out there dealing w/ it!! When my husband and I got married she did everything to us (me). When we bought a house she bought a house, when our wedding shower came along she brought her two kids plus her husbands illegitimate child w/ another woman and started crying right in the middle of me opening gifts so of course everyone ran over to her to find out what was wrong and she started telling them how she can't believe her husband cheated on her and how he could have done this to their family, even though she was still w/ him and never left him and had his child at the shower. I just kept right on opening gifts and never let up. I just knew at our wedding she was going to fall out in the floor or something to have the attention on her, but she didn't.. When we announced we were pregnant I just kind of braced myself for what she would do, her children are 8 and 5 and luckily she's had her tubes tied but never-the-less i thought she would pull something. We were at my husbands mom's house all eating and talking about the baby and she just blurts out that she has left her husband, i just looked at my husband and started laughing b/c i knew it was coming!

She hasn't done anything to bad like say she's pregnant but she has deemed it necessary to tell me how huge i am all the time!!! But i believe if she was to annouce she was pregnant i would probably punch her in the face, you know pregnancy hormones are so unpredictable!! lol!

Girl, even though your sister-in-law has announced she's pregnant and that she may use the name you came up w/ don't worry about it just keep on going and talk about every little kick and bump and pain you feel, over do it if you ask me! Have fun every time she brings something up bring yours up bigger!: biggrin

good luck w/ everything!!!!

THANK GOD YOU LOOK LIKE THAT! I thought i was the only one, I have nothing but this page to base my pregnancy on, and so far i've just seen waifs with little bumps talking about how big they are. Im about 20lbs heavier than you, but the bump is equal. You look fantastic, so in shape! I wish, the idea of MOVING let alone exersizing exhausts me!

sabina25 - Saturday, 28 June
That is gorgeous... never seen one as nice as that near me. Please can you tell me which store you got that from... probably won't have it in England!

My belly button only hurts when I lay on my side or if I eat a lot too!! Coughing and sneezing hasn't affected it yet.
Mine is still an innie. But it looks like it won't be for too much longer.

jazzyboo - Saturday, 31 May
i LOVE the stripey walls! I've wanted to do the exact same! Unfortunately, we don't have a nursery - yet! We're staying in a studio apartment. One day soon enough I'll be able to do it!
