My profile
My name is Jenni and I live in Florida. This is my first baby and yes, it was a happy "suprise" seeing as I am a healthy 30 year old woman who is pretty career driven rather then baby driven. But I could not be happier now. At first I was a little freaked out to say the least. I was about to go get my depo shot right before I found out. Don't listen to anyone when they say it's hard to get pregnant for atleast a year after the depo shot. I was only a month behind. I literally moved back to Florida from a two year stay in PA for work. On my 6th day back in Florida I took a test and the rest is history. Of course the father lives in PA and wants me to move back there with him. But I was misrable when I lived there and I have no plans of going back. I figure God wanted me to have this baby for a reason so here I go and now that I have gotten more used to it, I am very very happy. The Dad is being great, he's going to fly down for the Ultrasound this month. He is still conviced I will move back there but I have my Mom and sister here and I never have been very patient with boyfriends. I think we will be best on our own. In the meantime, I love having this site to come to, I don't feel as alone.

Friday, 6 June The description that your giving sounds like it is the baby. I started to feel my baby move around 16 weeks. This is my second time around feeling it, so I knew what it was once I felt it. You've gotta remember that the uterus is also pushing other organs up and around, so when you lye down and get up, or have any other huge position changes, not only is your baby, and your uterus moving, but all those other organs are too (intestines, kidney, bladder, stomach, etc). And because yes, you are petite, you will feel more than the average size woman. TammyJo -
Thursday, 5 June Thank You for your opinion, I dont think I could do one myself, and my family sure wont...,your post made me laugh lol its so not easy having this many, and sure wasnt planning them, good luck with your baby!! Mrs.M.H. -
Thursday, 5 June Jenni, I read your comment and it sounds just like me I'm 20 weeks now but I've had the same thing happen at times! I knew it was the baby but I got proof at my u/s The biggest and roundest lump was my boys head!! Oh, and the tightening after the deed is probably a Braxton Hicks contraction as some one said it was. Those are okay and good in a way and can start as early as 6 weeks! Just try to learn the difference between them because if you have to many of them in an hr. it should be checked. So, you know it's baby! And thought people think that they float in a round bubble they don't it's a bit on the squished side right now. Good luck and enjoy yay fun! : happy brittany2178 -
Thursday, 5 June Feeling good for the most part... a little discomfort here and there. Just the usual baby pains... go to the dr tomorrow to see if everything is still going good..... i have my 4d ulstrasound in a few days so im extatic about that. How are you feeling? mamabare30 -
Thursday, 5 June i wish i could feel my little guys movement like that! i can feel him more and more and sometimes feel the bopping on the outside, at which point i get evan to come put his hand where it is but he can never feel anything :( soon enough though! i get the braxton hicks that make my stomach really tight around the lower sides, it actually does feel like a golf ball or something. it freaked me out till i realized what it was! and thanks for the photo comment :) so far no new stretch marks - i was told to use cocoa butter so that's what i'm doing :) For now i'm just veiny all over! mamabare30 -
Thursday, 5 June hiya, read your post... baby moves at this early stage don't generally make your belly move around like that, but what i think you're experiencing is the new braxton hicks contractions.. that will harden in certain spots like a ball and then release... also round ligament stretching may have an affect as well which may contribute to the moves closer to your belly button. just ask your doc at your next visit :) shellers -
Thursday, 5 June Hi there-
I believe you are feeling the baby!! That's what I'm feeling too except when my stomach gets really hard and tight, I that's a braxton hix contraction. But all the rest is the baby! Congrats :) northwave -
Thursday, 5 June Thx :) My dog is a black lab... mixed with German shephard... he is the sweetest dog ever... He loves kids!! Actually he loves em too much.. he will lick there faces to death :) We have kids come over al the time and he would NEVER hurt them. And for some reason people don't undertsand that. They think all dogs bite and all dogs are mean. Grrr I had to tell my mom to stop telling me about watching the dog and never leave the dog alone with the kid.
SHe was driving me crazy. Anyway I need to get ready for my ultrasound!! thx again for your comment and for listening :) Have a good one!
