25 Oct.
I've had this page for a while, I figured maybe it's time to write something on here. This is my fourth pregnancy. I've had two m/c's and 1 ectopic. It's been a long hard year recovering from it, and as soon as I was ready to get back on a ship and out in the fleet (I'm in the Navy) I found out that the Good Lord had different plans. Hubby didn't believe me when I told him, and he still admits he's "getting used to the idea" but we're happy. I don't have another doctor appointment for another month, but at the last one she said everything looked great. Now that I'm almost in week 12 I'm feeling great! I've got a baby pooch and doing everything I can to stay healthy. Not to mention that I thank God everyday for being so blessed and giving us another chance.

I rented a Fetal Doppler last week, and finally got it yesterday. I couldn't find any heartbeat last night. I was slightly worried but I figured I just didn't know what I was doing so I sat down and reread the instructions, nope, did everything right. I tried again this afternoon and it was so cool! The heartbeat was quiet, but I think that's only because it's so early. It was real amazing to hear it. My appointment isn't for another 21 days and I'm a worry wart so being able to hear the heartbeat really calmed my nerves. My mother keeps telling me not to worry, but that's easier said then done. I will worry!!
Things really are going great at the moment.I'm so happy!
20 November
I had my second appointment today. The doc said everything sounds good. They didn't do an u/s but they did listen to the heart beat. Doc said it's 140 and strong. That just makes me so happy!! I then got blood drawn to test for birth defects, then sat at immunizations for over an hour waiting to get my flu shot. I typically don't get it and just tough it out if I get the flu, but considering the baby doesn't like Orange Juice and I can't take anything I figured I'd just go get the damn shot. Doc said it's a great idea anyway....Joy....I'll be sick in a few days, and my shoulder hurts like a mother monkey! Now we're trying to decide where to go for X-mas. there are leave date issues I'm trying to work out with my command. I hope it works out. I know how much Jeremy wants to go to Texas to see his family. I kind of do too... Well, time to eat!

Last night Jeremy took a few pictures of my growing tummy. Boy is it really starting to get big! I'm so happy to have the "pregnancy look." But looking at the comparison, my tummy's gotten real big in the last two weeks. It almost amazes me!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Jeremy and I went to Texas for the holiday. We drove down there, and boy was that painful. We had a good time seeing his family, and I think he really enjoyed being with his brothers. The three of them haven't been together in five years. My in-laws went baby crazy!! They bought so much stuff for Cameron! I really appreciate all they bought for him too. I wasn't sure how we were going to afford it.
We got back around 6:30 yesterday morning, after driving for 23 hours! Then Jeremy took me to the hospital because my chest felt like it was on fire every time I coughed. They gave me medication to slow my coughing down and sudafed. I'm feeling better today, after sleeping for 12 hours last night, and staying in bed most of the day yesterday and today.
I'm just glad to be home and feeling better. Next project is to get the nursery going.

I had my appointment this morning. I'm excited to say that things look good. My BP went down to 122/78 and the protienes in my urine weren't too high to cause concern. His heartbeat is good and strong in the 130's and the doc said everything just looks good. She told me what to do next time I have BH contractions.
I figured that's what I had saturday when I was in pain, but wasn't too sure. I also got to do my glucose test today. It wasn't so bad. People kept saying the drink tasted gross and it was a misserable test, but I didn't have a problem. I had Fruit Punch and it didn't taste that bad. It just tasted like warm flat hawaiian punch, i peed in a cup and they took blood. the only part that sucked was when she took the needle out of my arm. It still hurts!
My head's still stuffy and the doc said just what I thought she'd say. I will not take sudafed because I got sick last time. She said if I get a fever or the ickyness lasts more than two weeks to go and get some antibiotics. I highly doubt it'll get that bad. I just need a few days in bed to rest and drink plenty of juice and water. Saturday will be here soon enough!
Speaking of Saturday's, I've registered for Labor and Delivery class and Baby Boot Camp. They're both done on saturday's at the hospital. I could have gone this week and next, but Jeremy needs time to let work know he needs those days off. At the labor and delivery class, along with lamaz they give you a tour of the labor and delivery department and the nursery. I'm excited! I never thought I'd get this far! the baby bootcamp is a disapline class and teaches you how to take care of the baby. You also recieve Baby's First Seabag! It's got a bunch of free onsies, blankets, and diapers among other stuff.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!
My doctor called me the other day and told me I failed my one hour test. I was so upset! I had to schedule a three hour for today. It was not fun! I didn't mind sitting there waiting and getting blood done every hour. Except that they could never get blood. Each time they had to stick me two to three times to find a vein. I was going to wait until I got home from the hospital to eat, but my body decided different. I got on the highway and I started shaking, my heart started racing, and my stomach felt weird. So once I got to the other side of the bridge I stopped at a 7/11 and bought food there. I didn't have much of a choice, I almost didn't make it that far! It was scary! I ate in the car and sat for about 15, 20 minutes and came home. Hubby got home after class today and snuggled me 'till I fell asleep and let me take a nice nap. When I woke up we snuggled in bed mostly all afternoon.
The OB clinic called, I thought it'd be the doctor, but instead it was the ultrasound people rescheduling my growth scan next week. About a half hour after that the phone rang again and it was the doc this time.....I PASSED!!!!!! Oh my goodness was that a relief! I told the doc too! She said she'd see me on the fifth unless something's wrong.
I decided I needed to celebrate....I went to Cold Stone Creamery and got a Chocolate Devotion Ice cream. I know I know I had this sugar scar and now I'm eating that?! I won't have anything with sugar the rest of the night and I deserved to spoil myself. After worrying all day, I desereved it!
I'm just so happy!

I had another ultrasound yesterday. It went great. Everything looks normal, but they couldn't see the baby's heart. He just didn't want us to see it. I got nervous because the doctor looked at the pictures the tech took then decided he needed to see more. But, like I said things look good so far. Cameron is 3lbs!! His head is 7cm in diameter.
We go to the Labor and Delivery class on Saturday March 1st, have a regular OB appointment on Wednesday the 5th, then Baby BootCamp Saturday the 8th, and on the 24th of March is my next ultrasound. They didn't check my BP yesterday, but I don't think it was too high to worry. I've been feeling really good lately, aside from being tired all the time, and my feet always hurting. but aside from that, I'm good!
