3/3/08 I love being pregnant so far! I don't think there is more than a few minutes that pass untill I am thinking about it again. This web site helps me expend some of my excitement instead of talking my husbands ear off all the time LoL. My symptoms are sore bb's, tired, and strangely I feel pressure when I bend over in my uterus ( I don't know if that is possible at 5 weeks, but it's there) I have to wait a week and 1/2 for the first appointment, I am really wanting some confirmation that everything is looking okay for the baby.

3/12/08 Had my first appointment today. Everything looks good so far. I am going to have my 1st U/S in a week because they want to make sure the baby is old enough to see a heartbeat before I go in. So I still have some waiting to go. I can't wait to see the baby and it's heartbeat for the first time! Symptoms have increased to include occasional nausea (fun), heartburn at night, unblievable fatigue and still maintiaining the sore and enlarging bb's.

3/20/08 Had the first u/s today and we saw the heartbeat at 176 bpm! I am so relieved, knowing everything is on the right track. The baby looks like a cashew but apparently doing good! I will be 8 weeks tommorrow and counting the days to the next sonogram.

4/1/08 I rented a dopplar and can hear the heartbeat whenever the baby is in a good position for me to hear it! It keeps my mind at ease, somewhat. It is extra nice to realize the baby is moving around because the heartbeat is always in a different place.

4/16/08 Had another sonogram today and got a good long look at the baby. We even saw a few jumps, waves and one complete flip around. Everything looks good and normal which allows me to relax a bit. I am so happy to be 12 weeks this Friday!

5/2/08 14 weeks today! Can't believe I am in the 2nd trimester!! I had an amazing moment of feeling the baby move today. It was a strong fluttering, like I swallowed a live fish or something. Before this I have been feeling light 'taps' but this fluttering was a new sensation altogether.

6/9/08 I am so excited, we are having a girl and she looks perfect! Weare thrilled although my husband is a little intimidated rasing a girl. I think he will be amazed about how awsome little girls are.
