Hey everyone! My name's Jessica and my lovely boyfriend' name is Kyle! We are expecting our first child March 16, 2008 and are soo excited about it! I am currently a fulltime student at the University of South Florida, and am in my 3rd year! GO BULLS! I am working towards a bachelors degree in Natural Sciences in hopes of becoming a Physical Therapist. I am also obtaining a minor in Technical writing. We currently live in Tampa Florida and will stay here until I finish my bachelors. Then we will be going "home" where I will transfer to Florida Gulf Coast University to attend their Physical Therapy school! Congrats to you all and hope everything is going well!

**Pregnancy Time-line** June 10th 2007 - DATE OF CONCEPTION July 9th 2007 - DAY WE FOUND OUT I WAS PREGNANT! (4 weeks 1 day) July 16 2007 - 1st Dr. appointment! ( apprx. 5 weeks) ....................................EDD - 3-19-2008 August 3rd 2007 - 2nd Dr. appointment! ( confirmed 7 weeks 5 days) .................................**CHANGED EDD - 3-16-2007** .....................................HR - 167 August 31st 2007 - 3rd Dr. Appointment! (11 weeks 5 days) ....................................HR - 162 October 10th 2007 - 4th Dr. Appointment! (17 weeks 3 days) Full anatomy ultrasound! I got lots of pictures! AND found out it was**A BOY!!!!** not so good news: They found that he had an "echoic bowel" which is a marker for downs syndrome or cystic fibrosis. Well, they recieved my blood results and ruled out CF because i wasnt a carrier and also told me that my AFP blood results for downs syndrome were very low and because of my age put me at at even lower risk. However, because he had a "echoic bowel" showing in the ultrasound, his chances of have downs syndrome were 1 in 250. I opted to get the Amniocentesis test done because i just needed to know. Plus the chances for a miscarriage were 1 in 400. Less likely to occur than having something wrong with him. They amnio didnt hurt at all which surprised me. I had minor cramping for the rest of the day, so i went to sleep early. October 12th 2007 - found out everything was PERFECT! and they confirmed that i was having a boy..which was quite obvious from the ultrasound! so me daddy said "phewww!!" I felt as if I could breathe again! October 13th 2007 - FIRST TIME I FELT THE BABY MOVE!!! it is such a cool feeling! i cant even explain it! its like little bubbles..or little flicks almost! October 22nd 2007 - Today, he is non-stop moving around! The kicks are getting stronger and everyone has been able to feel him move for about a week now! Lets just say, they're not little flicks anymore! lol They're more like strong pokes! Daddy loves to feel him move, and talks to him everyday! November 8th 2007 - Went for the echocardiogram today. Everything checked out PERFECT! They just needed to check because of his echoic bowel which by the way DID NOT show up in this ultrasound. So now theyre not even worried about it anymore because if there was an obstruction, it would still be showing up (even brighter than before.) so now my mind is completely at ease! They say he weighs 1 LB 1 0Z! right on target for 21 weeks 4 days! They also said that his leg and arm bones are really longgg!! hmm! i wonder where he gets that from! NOT ME! thats all daddys doings! lol November 20th 2007 - Wow...havent updated in a while! well a lot has changed since last time. CARSON GARRETT has gone from little kicks to HUGGGEE kicks! You can see my belly move from the outside and everyone is able to feel him. There is no mistaking it now. His newest thing is that he likes to kick my hip bone! It radiates down my leg and freaks me out! lol Hes a very strong kicker, let me tell you! lol Im planning on having my baby shower some time in late January. Im having two!! One in tampa for my friends, and one in cape coral for my friends down there and my family. I dont want everyone making the trip up for one day you know? :) January 5, 2008 I'm pretty bad with this updating thing! lol Well i'm going to be 30 weeks tomorrow! 10 more weeks to go! school starts up again on Monday, and im soooo NOT excited! I'm running out of energy and am alwayssss tired! ahhh!! God PLEASE help me get through this! :) besides being tired 24/7, my baby showers are on Feb 2nd, and Feb 9th! I cant wait! My hormones have been under control for quite a while now! Boyfriend is happy about that! I havent flew off the handle for little stupid reasons! so YAY for me! anyone else feeling like 10 weeks is wayyyy too long?! geez la weez i just want it to be over so i can see my little man!
