I think it will be the 31st of Jan. my u/s said it would be due Feb 9th. We will find out for sure when those dates come along. This will be my third, our second. We are so very excited and blessed that God is giving us another person to love and enjoy! So far this pregnancy has been wonderful, only sick one time....totally different from the other two, and boy am I glad!

7-27-07

yesterday we heard the heartbeat......it was 180bpm WOW~~ Glad our hearts dont beat that fast, we wouldnt make it =0) truly amazing! Our first ultrasound was Thursday July 26th, which is the same day we told my parents we were pregnant! My hubby went and showed them the ultrasound photos.

9-13-07

We found out today that its a BOY!!! We are so excited!! He looked so perfect, it was funny watching him move around everywhere. His heartbeat was 144! PERFECT!

4-7-08

Isaiah went in for his 2 month check up...he weighed 12lbs 3oz and was 22.75 inches long! He is growing so fast. He is so precious, I just love him to pieces. Please pray for him he has to go to Rily Childrens Hospital for an MRI on Tuesday to check his skull....please pray for my little man.

Hi, I think I'm measuring small too. I will find out next week how much he weighs. I think why I'm worried is because I was so big with my first, he was over 10 lbs. but I don't think this one will even be nine lbs. I still have 5 weeks to go though. Good luck!!!!

HeatherF - Saturday, 12 Jan
Thank you- Yeah i measured a bit small-my doctor told me that it was ok though and that just because my belly was measuring small, it did not mean that the baby is not measuring right-hope that helped and congrats and good luck

Hi Jessica,
I had my GroupB strep test last week and mine was neg. My Dr. said even if a woman has it when they go into labor, they give you meds so that you dont pass it on the baby. I hope this helps some.

jesslf - Friday, 11 Jan
Justed added 36 wk belly pic!

jesslf - Friday, 11 Jan
I haven't had too many cravings, st first Arby's, but I always love my grandma's homemade sugar cookies w/ frosting and sprinkles! Well last nigth I got more cramps! for about acouple of hrs. Hmm I wonder if there's anything going on? Then dismorning I woke up w/ my lower back by my tail bone hurting. Maybe now all the discomforts will start kicking in, funny w/my girls I never felt like this! W/ Vanessa alittle but not like this! LOL I remember over a month before she was born getting contractions that I had to walk off. This is all new, maybe it has to do w/ him being so far down and the girls always high.

jesslf - Thursday, 10 Jan
We don't have many choices to go where I live! LOL We a Copps, Shopko, and super walmart and at super walmart is where we shop! I know w/ Vanessa I swear we had her on every formula cause all she did was spit up, but nothing helped really, she just got that from her mommie! LOL So when Dawn was born we didn't bother changing formulas. Over all they were really heathy babies and that was just a phase they went through like their mommy! Dawn ended up being sort of chunky! It's nice they came out w/ that gentle formula, I wish they had it out when the girls were babies!

jesslf - Thursday, 10 Jan
Oh about formula, I buy the parent's choice w/ dha ara w/ iron in it. I'm buying the gentle stuff this time since it just came out. I think it's as good similac or enfamil and cheaper if you have a budget. I'm going to use emfami at the hospital and use up all the samples and switch to the parents choice. I never had to share a room either when I was younger. There was only my sister and I. And now Vanessa and Dawn have to share a room and it's hard to disapline if both are misbehaving! LOL Both girls were good babies so I can't complain. At 3-4 months they were sleeping through the night w/ a monitor on. Wow your hubby is already thinking of another one! I'm not going to bother Nick about another one. The next would be a bigger age gap between Tanner and a new baby.

jesslf - Thursday, 10 Jan
Well Vanessa, my 1st weighed 8.2 and Dawn was 6.3. I was 8.5 and Nick was 7.7. Alot of people are amazed that there was such a gap between their weight and asked if she was early, and she really wasn't they were both pretty much born at the same time. I would like another one. I'm not planning on doing anything to my tubes either. I don't know what we are going to do cause I don't want to go on BC pills, they really screw w/ my body and I don't like how I feel on them. I hope my periods stay the same and I'll try doing it the 'natural' way and hope not to get pregnant right away! LOL I've been getting nauseas the past few nights, don't know if it's because of my cold or what ever I have or the pregnancy. Feels like the pregnancy like at the beginning. I had a hard time falling asleep last night cause of it. Good luck at your appoint! Let me know how it goes!

loriking18 - Thursday, 10 Jan
hey I do not think you should need to bring anything but clothes for the baby call the hospital to see what they provide and also I used Carnation good start with my first two and if the breast feeding does not go well than he will use it too

alliecat393 - Wednesday, 9 Jan
What about borrowing a pump from the hospital and pumping your early milk and then feeding it in a bottle? I don't know anything about breastfeeding either, but the hospital I am delivering at has good support, so between that and my mom I am hoping it will all work itself out!

alliecat393 - Wednesday, 9 Jan
RE: formula, even if you feel it will work better for you to feed formula, you may want to try breastfeeding for the first few weeks because the colostrum that you produce in the early days is really nutritious for the baby. If you do that, then you may have a bit of time to get formula, if you want to use the time.

jesslf - Wednesday, 9 Jan
Hi, I almost forgot Nick's PJs! LOL I just remembered to pack them. I just use their nipples at the hospital, they're not really mch different then the ones I have. I had my Dr appoint yesterday and the Dr told that he was already engaged! And looking through my chart he said if I would of went into labor last night he wouldn't have stopped it! He also told me that he won't be a big baby, so I guess he readu to come out! I'll find out Tues if anything is happening down there. I figured I better get everything together since he wants to come I'm ready. I wonder if he'll actually be wks early or maybe he'll just keep me guessing! i still got to get afew more things like nursing pads for when I start to leak and maybe some more pads this Fri when we go shopping and also picking up more travel size stuff if I remember, but the suitcase is now out in the open so we just have to grab it. I think I'm getting more cramps, but it's been so long since I had them I forgot what they feel like! LOL So he musr be doing something down there! How are you feeling? Do you find yourself really uncomfortable? I do only at times but it's not all the time. I don't waddle. There was a lady yesterday who was almost twice as big as my belly and it looked like she really had a hard time walking. Sometimes you still can't tell that I'm pregnant! LOL

baby bug - Monday, 7 Jan
Hi! Here are some suggestions of things to pack....lip gloss or chap stick, hard candies to suck on or mints or gum, socks or slippers, bath robe, hair elastics ( if you have long hair), body lotion, perfume or body spray, lots of 'granny' undies ( to fit those big pads in!!). Good luck!

jesslf - Saturday, 5 Jan
I hope your sister will get to enjoy this pregnancy too! Wow she went through alot, that would almost scare someone not to get pregnant again! Can she have a vaninal birth or is she going to have a C-sec.? I think as soon as both girls were 9 months I had them on 2% milk and stopped giving them formula, when the Dr. said it was ok. I wonder how she will stop breast feeding her daughter? How far along is she now? I think even by 9 months both of my girls were feeding themselves to, they even stopped eating baby food! I know what you mean about the nipples and not allowing the baby to drink that's why I don't like those platex ones that comes w/ the bottles I have. I know they also can out w/ these ones that didn't leak, but then the baby couldn't get anyhting out either! I follow the months. The ones I bought say 0 + months, and I buy the clear ones not the brown rubber ones I hate the noise they make when it rubs! LOL I think the angled bottles help keeping w/ the air bubbles so baby gets less gas or something, but my babies are all spitter uppers LOL I use a recieving blanket and a burp rag! LOL But Parents choice came out w/ a gentle formula for gassy babies so I'm going to try that on him too. I would be nice if he wasn't a spitter upper. I see people just w/ these little clothes and I just laugh to myself cause i have to carry aound the blankets and warn people when they feed them that they spit up alot! LOL

jesslf - Saturday, 5 Jan
I like the 4 oz bottles at first. But I like the the platex vent air bottles, but don't like the nipples that come w/ them. I just bought the parent's choice nipples and 4 oz bottles and evenflo bottles. I don't breastfeed either. I just don't feel comforatable and I can't even stand looking at the ads in the magazines I get! For some reason I just cringe! I don't mind others who do it I just can't do it! Plus trying to eat well, I can't do that either. I don't even plan to pump. I just wait for about a wk then I stop leaking and the milf dries up. I hate when I leak and can't imagine wearing pads for a long period of time and also my bbs get an odor to them after they start leaking which I just hate! More about bottles before Vanessa was born I found alot of bottles at a dollar tree that where angled that I liked using too. I have a couple of gerber and evenflo bottles. Don't like paying for the pricey ones I look for the inespensive ones. They used to make nipples that had these bumps on them and they were good for their gums while they are teething and I noticed they don't make them or at least sell them at Walmart. My sister in law breastfeed for over a yr. She was telling me that alittle while ago a baby was crying and she started to leak! She also didn't get her period for a yr too! She was one of those moms who didn't care where she did it. I remember on day after church we went to Pizza Hut w/ my F-I-L and some others from church and she fed him right there ofcourse w/ a blanket over him. I always wondered if Nick felt uncomfortable when she did around him. Sorry to hear your mom is so sick. I hope that she has a speedy recovery so she can enjoy her new grandson when he gets here. One of my girls is going to my moms and the other to Nick's moms. My grandma and grandpa is going to watch them while I have Tanner. Funny how people are 'planning' their birth plan, but I wonder if theirs will go according to plan. I have no idea if we are dropping the girls off before I go in the hospital or if I'm going to dropped off first and then someone going to take the girls. They don't live very far from the hospital, but don't know how he will be making his deput. I had my water break for one of the girls and the other I just sat at home until the my contractions where really close together. So I will see what happens, humm....

jesslf - Saturday, 5 Jan
Hi, been feeling pretty good other than getting pressure in cervix area. I think they'll probably do the test at 36 wks, at least that's when they so mine and I had one done at 28 wks. Don't know why they do 2. I go Monday for my '34 wk' appoint even though I'll be over 35 wks. I went Fri cause that's when my appoint was but some how some one cancelled it. I was suppose to get my walking papers, so now I have to wait til Mon. I know what you mean about feeling not pregnant! LOL At times I feel 'normal'. Then at night I get uncomfortable. My tummy is somewhat small too, but I noticed it's sticking out more. I feel my skin stretch too and it hurts. Still feels like I should have more than 4 wks and 6 days. I'm also begining to get like cramps, so I think slowly it will seem like the end is near. My belly button poped out totally so I must be getting close! LOL. I love your crib set! Tanner get's what his sister has, but did buy 2 new crib sheets for him. I posted a pic of his crib that just awaits him! So do you have everything all set to go? Bags packed? I'm almost all ready. Got our clothes packed and the girls in their suitcases ready to go to their grandma's ahead of time. Still have to charge batteries for the cameras and video recorder. Diapers and formula is bought along w/ afew new bottles and nipples for the bottles. It's kind of excited watching others getting closer to having their babies since they are dilating thinning out, and losing their mucus plug. I think it will be wks before I get to see action! Getting excited? I think the most of the time I'm still shocked cause it hasn't totally sank in yet!

Joanna - Thursday, 3 Jan
Hobart is about 45 min. north of you. This is definitely our last one. We have a 12 yr old daughter, a 6 yr old son, and this will be our 3rd. After our 6 yr old we have had 2 miscarriages. Having this one has been alot of stress. Early in this pregnancy I was diagnosed with gall stones which are extremely painful. I got pregnant 1 month after my last d&c and for the first trimester i was on progesterone suppositories to help sustain this pregnancy. So for 3 months I had to do the suppositories 3 times a day which isn't that friendly to your girly parts..lol! Then I had some early bleeding..so definitely I am done....i'm having the tubes tied.

BethB - Thursday, 3 Jan
Hope everything goes well at the doctor for your mom. I am trying not to stress the room. No sense in getting all stressed and possibly making the baby come earlier. That would just compound the problem!

Joanna - Thursday, 3 Jan
Hi!! I'm from Indiana too!! If your dr. isn't stressin about the weight thing then I wouldn't worry about it. I have no line either and my belly button is still an innie. I'm definitely showing but i'm not as big as I was with my other 2 at all. I've only gained 7 lbs as of my last appt. and i'm not very overweight at all. My dr. said i'm measuring fine and all my ultrasounds showed an average baby. Every pregnancy and every person is different so don't let it worry you!! Good luck!!!!!

shellybelly81 - Thursday, 3 Jan
just commenting on the weight thing! I wouldn't stress out at all! Normal weight gain is 25-30 lbs.. my doctor doesn't want me to gain anymore than 30 because technically, it's not the baby anymore, you know? I'm at 19 lbs now and I am so grateful. I was hoping to gain around 25 total. I gained 17 lbs with my first pregnancy and I lost 20 in the hospital the day I delivered! hah :o) Maybe I'll get this lucky this time around. I hate working out!

BethB - Thursday, 3 Jan
hey! Hope you are doing well. Haven't heard from you in awhile.

margiemom - Saturday, 22 Dec
