October 10th-
Well my body has me all sorts of confused. This was the first month that I charted my BBT's, and the chart is a mess. Perhaps it's because I used a fever thermometer instead of a basal thermometer. Or because I work third shift and have erratic sleep patterns, but my temps are all over the place. It doesn't look at all like I ovulated. I had a spike ONE day, and then it was back to peaks and valleys. So I figured I didn't ovulate. I guess I'm wrong, since AF showed her ugly face today. I have no idea what's going on. Back to square one. I'm going to buy a basal thermometer tomorrow, but I can't really do much about my sleep schedule. Hopefully next month. Baby dust to all!!
October 15th
Wooooo AF is finally gone! Time to get to work! I'm still charting my BBT's, though I've yet to buy a basal thermometer. My temps seem to be a lot more normal looking this month so far than last month's. Perhaps I was just temping wrong my first month. Gonna start the baby dance as soon as I get home from work in the morning. Baby dust to all!!!
November 1st
Well, shit. About two days before ovulation day (or supposed ovulation day), I started having really bad pains in my stomach on the left side. They were really bad stabbing pains that were worse when I sat down or walked too hard. Then it started hurting to BD in certain positions. So badly one time that we had to stop. I didn't think much of it at first, because I get ovulation pain every month. But this month it's much worse, and instead of lasting a day or two, it's been a week and a half now. No painkillers seem to help. So I've scheduled an appt. with the ob/gyn tomorrow morning to see what's going on. My mom and sister both have endometriosis. My mom's was so bad that she had to have a total hysterectomy. I'm really hoping that I've not developed this disease as well. We shall see how the dr. appt. goes tomorrow.
November 5th
I went to the dr. Friday. She said it very well could be endo, but it very well couldn't. Given my history and some of my symptoms, she says it sounds like it. But then she said my pain patterns don't really match up with endo. So I have an appt. tomorrow morning for an ultrasound to see if she can find anything. If that turns up inconclusive, and the pain persists, I'm gonna have a lap to determine for sure if I have it. Cause if I don't have it, I'd sure like to know what the hell is making me hurt so much. On the baby note, I took a test today and got a BFN. Which was no surprise, because I'm having no pregnancy symptoms. Hopefully the ultrasound goes well tomorrow.
November 10th
Still no word from the doctor on my ultrasound. The one good thing that is keeping me optimistic is when I was done getting the ultrasound and the nurse left the room so I could get dressed (I had a vaginal ultrasound as well), I snuck a peek at the pictures. Of course I couldn't tell what the hell was what, but two or three of the pictures had the word "cyst" on them. So I'm hoping I just have a cyst on my ovary that will dissolve in a month or so. AF showed up Tuesday, so I'm hoping she'll be gone by the end of the weekend. Time to get dancing again!
November 13th-
AF is finally gone! Gods, I didn't think she'd ever go away. I'm still having pains in my stomach, though. And they've moved over to my right side now as well. Also on Saturday, I started having real bad pain in my low, low back...like in my butt. Then my butt was all tingly, like it had fallen asleep. Sunday and Monday nights, my left butt cheek is totally numb. This morning, it moves into my thigh and my left foot goes tingly and then numb. What the eff? My mom thinks it could be my sciatic nerve. I called the doctor and they scheduled an appointment for tomorrow. Which is good cause those asses still haven't told me what's going on with my ovaries yet. Hopefully I can get some answers tomorrow. Gonna go buy an OPK tomorrow morning after work and start testing on Friday. I have a good feeling about this month!
November 15th-
I bought an OPK last night and started testing! I bought the Answer OPK. It comes with 20 strips, so I figured that would be the best, since I can never seem to figure out when the hell I'm ovulating. I'm hoping this will be exactly what we need for our BFP!!!
November 18th-
I have no idea what's going on. I'm only on CD 13...I don't even think I ovulated yet...but AF showed up this morning. Is that even possible??? Have any of you experienced this? I am so upset. I was so optimistic about this month, and it seems to be ruined. I'm still gonna keep testing with the OPK. I might as well; the strips expire 30 days after you open them. How disconcerting.
November 26th-
I hope everyone's Thanksgiving was a wonderful one!! I ate WAAAAAY too much food, lol. And even better news! ROBBIE PROPOSED TO ME!!!!! I am now officially engaged! I couldn't be happier. I think this is just what I needed to take my mind off my cycle. I still have yet to get a positive OPK, so i think we're just gonna stop "trying." Just let nature run its course. Of course I'll still be here almost everyday, cause this damn site is addictive! Baby dust to everyone!!!
November 27th-
Thank you all sooo much for the congratulations! I am so in love with this site, seriously. Anyhow, my bb's started hurting a lot today. I think I'm on CD23...but with those three days of bleeding on CD13-16...who really knows. I've been testing with the OPK strips since CD9, and I've yet to have a positive result. My body is a jerk.
December 2nd-
Oooookay. So I have a question for you ladies. I don't really know what to make of this. I still don't know what cycle day I'm on...but today when I was going to the bathroom, I passed a chunk of CM, and had A LOT of CM when I wiped (TMI, I'm sorry...) But I've never had that much CM, let alone have a chunk of it come out. It was so weird cause I could feel it come out. It really freaked me out. But then I got all excited. Maybe I'm ovulating soon! So we BD'ed, but I had pain again during the BD. If that bleeding I had mid-cycle was infact a period, then today would be CD15...so I very well could be ovulating! But thennnn I got to thinking again...I've been sick and taking cough medicine for the past two days. So maybe the CM is a result of that...cause I've heard cough medicine does that. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I don't really know what to make of it.
