All by myself...

I found out i was pregnant with my first child july 3, 2001, i was only 17 and very confused, i struggled with what i should do for quite awhile, but when i had my first ob visit i knew this is what was meant for me. So being 17 i was of course single, her father and i were not together and he wanted nothing to do with me or the baby. My pregnancy went okay for the first couple months, but November 21, i went into labor and thank God they were able to stop it, from then on i was on bed rest and taking tributaline pills every 4 hours around the clock. i had to get shots of tributaline once every 2 weeks to stop labor. Finally after a scary 2nd half of the pregnancy my beautiful baby girl was here, feburary 19, 2002, only 3 weeks early. I named her Sacharia Audrianna. For the next 5 years it was just her and me, our world was perfect, so we thought.

Girl meets Boy....

I have always been told that love will find you when you least expect it. January 2007 was an aweful month for me, i had lost my job, was facing eviction, my best friend and i were on the outs, and it seemed that anything that could go wrong, did go wrong. January 16, 2007 i was on myspace, and this very obnoxious guy kept messaging me, he would not stop, his profile was private, so i couldnt even look at him to see i knew him, so i added him as a friend just so i could see his profile, i was not impressed. Every couple minutes i was getting these messages and IM's, finally i responded to him, we started talking and he said his sister lived right up the street from me and he was going over there, maybe he could meet me, and i agreed. 45 minutes later i get a knock on my door and it was him, he walked from the east end of town to the west end and was now on my door step. From the moment i opened the door, there was an instant attraction. So he arrived at my house about 2 pm the 16th and January, and never left. 20 months later we are still together. His name is Paul and he is 9 years older than me. He is a good man, and has helped me through alot. He took to my daughter right away and they became close very quickly. After being together for 2 weeks, he proposed, it was very romantic. We were out at the mall, having dinner at friendlies and he wispered something in my daughters ear, the next thing i knew she was down on her knees asking me to marry Paul. It was the cutest thing ever. I of course said yes.

Its POSITIVE.....

I never really wanted to have another baby before i met Paul, i had my Sacharia, and life seemed complete. Well paul had no kids and he really wanted a baby, with me. I know we were moving very fast. So i wanted to give him a child. I got my IUD taken out Feburary 5, 2007 and sure enough i missed my period in march and we found out we were pregnant. Paul and i were over joyed, we couldn;t believe how fast things were happening. Right before i got pregnant my grandmother, who i was really close to, died. So we agreed that if we were having a girl we would name her after my grandma judy. We found out we were having a girl a week before our wedding. We announced the sex and the name at the wedding on June 16, 2007. That pregnancy went well, no real issues. I did have prodomal labor towards the end. According to the doctor, it is when your body gives you all the pains of labor with out being in labor. This lasted 5 weeks before she came. I was miserable. She was due November 9, and i had her November 16. The labor was uncomplicated. A few minutes after 1pm Judith Pauline arrived.

Round 2

We had our family and things were going so well. My husband so elated over his daughter, he doted on her constantly. We had already planned on getting an IUD, then after a year we would get it taken out and try again. Everything was going according to plan, that is until i got the call from my doctor saying they could not do the IUD because i was pregnant. I was in shock. JJ was only 4 months, and Paul and i had used protection. After the initial shock, i started to get more excited. It would be nice having the two babies close together. At my my first visit, i should have been 8 weeks, by i was measuring 20 weeks. I was huge, they say it was because my uterus never really returned to size. Since then things have evened out a little bit, i am only measurining 3 weeks ahead now. We have had 2 ultrasounds, at the second one we found out we were having a boy. We were so overjoyed. This would be the final member of our growing family. The ultrasound said the baby is greater then the 97% for his gestational age, so we are guessing that he is going to be big. And if you look at my pics, i am huge. But it is all worth it. Our Baby boy is due Christmas day, we are debating on getting induced a week before so we can be home for christmas, being that it will be JJ's first real christmas. So as time goes on we will see what happens. We are going to name our boy Paul Eugene (not my choice, i cant deny paul a jr though).

A boy makes 3

After a very long couple of months, Paul and I decided to go with the induction on December 18th. We were scheduled to go in and get hooked up at 10am, the IV team was backed up so the nurses tried to place the IV in my arm, and after like 6 unsuccessful attempts, they gave up. At 12pm the IV team finally got to me and i was started on Pitocin. I was 3/4 cm when i arrived. At 3pm i was 5 cm so they gave me the epidural (although i wasnt in much pain, they didnt want me to miss my window) right afterwards they broke my water, then it was a slow progression, but around 9pm the doc checked me and i was a very floppy 9 (nothing like being called floppy..lol) so he said that he would let me go a half hour and see what happend. Nothing happend, so he made me push through the little bit of cervix left, from there it was the normal story, i oushed for about 40 minutes, and he was born at 10:26pm. Being that i got the epidural so early i neve rhad any pain more then bad period cramps. He was beautiful, 8lbs 11.8 oz and 21 inches. We came home after about 36 hours, and we are all doing so well. I still am nervous when dealing with the whole penis thing, but im sure i will get use to it. My oldest isnt as jealous as she was with my youngest daughter, she is more upset that she has to help out more. My youngest doesnt know what to make of him. She keeps peeking into his bassinet and saying brother, it is so cute. We are now a complete family and nothing could make me happier.
