Just found out I have a scan on the 2nd of january 2008! yay! hopefully all will be okay! if so it will be a wonderful start to the new year! keep having dreams about carrying twins-scary! lol. My fiancee has twins run thru his family so im being daft and linking these two together! :) I would be happy with twins-in fact v excited. although i am positive im carrying a single and I will of course be as equally thrilled! will find out soon! wish i could find out earlier january seems such a long time to wait! None of our brothers or sisters know yet. our parents do, but we decided that we would prefer to let the rest of the family know were pregnant by scanning our scan photos and sending them in happy new year cards as a surprise! seeing as both of us have seven brothers and sisters we decided that would be a more special and fun way!

We decided not to find out the sex of our baby/ies as we want it to be a surprise for when they`re born! at least then it is something to be even more excited about! As well as not knowing the sex of our baby/ies, we wont even know what skin colour our baby/ies will be! as i am white and my fiancee Aaron is half cast! I have never met a quarter cast before, but my mother said that the baby/ies will have an absolute gorgeous almond tan! which i am very excited about! Also we think the baby/ies will have very curly hair as aaron has afro hair and mine is naturally straight. I am very excited about meeting our gorgeous baby/ies!

Quick update on the old morning sickness-I have now started feeling very slight nausea-its not actuall sickness just the feeling that I am going to be sick! lol not sure which id prefer actually being sick or just feeling it! guess I should still feel lucky! :) its only very slight and goes straight away after ive eaten.

Sickness has really hit in today! feel aweful, I felt fine for half of today then suddenly at lunch time I just felt like I could throw up everywhere. Not been sick though just felt aweful for about fifteen minutes and now I feel great again. how strange :)

Thinking today about the type of birth I would prefer. I would have liked a home birth as I have read some facts that it reduces the risk of intervention and eases pain naturally, But as this im my firs I think its best that I have a hospital birth as I won`t know what im doing! and if anything goes wrong-which i hope doesnt in any case-ill be safer in a hospital with all the emergency equipment right there. Ill try for a home birth maybe next time round if this birth goes smoothly. I dont think ill have a water birth either as i have seen pictures and i want to deliver "normally" as i will feel closer to Aaron. I have plenty of time to look further into it all but i think ill have a hospital birth! and stay "Dry" :)

I dont have a scan until January 2nd! seems like ages away to finally see our baby, I want to have a scan sooner than when im 13 weeks but I guess every pregnant woman has to wait this long so I should try be more patient! after all baby isnt going any where just yet :) Still wondering about the possibility of twins, although I cant see us being that blessed to have conceived twins I do look massive! my uterus has already risen way above my pubic bone! And I know I am no more than eight weeks! In fact less than that because 8 weeks is calculated from the day of my last period so i think im only 5 or 6 weeks from conceiving! its all very confusing and we`ll know for sure soon!

Not been thinking too much about names lately, as this whole pregnancy doesnt seem real yet, it will all seem much more real when i have my scan. Aaron and I really like Acacio for a little boy, and Acacia for a little girl. I also like Kyoko for a baby girl too. Plenty of time to make a decision yet though:) We really want to name our baby/ies names that are very uncommon. Plus quite exotic :) lol. I have a whole list of exotic names, already 40 names scribbled down!

Finally had our first scan! everything went really well :) Confirmed their was the one in there! :) really excited about eveything, but i still dont feel pregnant. They measured the baby and confirmed I was 13 weeks 3 days on January 2nd. And they said baby looks big and healthy so theyre happy with the way the baby is looking so far.

Had an emergency scan today! January 7th. As I fell down the stairs and landed on my bump! winded myself really bad and fractured a rib :( Had blood tests that revealed I am rhesus negative :( So had to have an injection incase baby was rhesus positive. But luckily baby is all fine bouncing around like nothing has happened :) And im just bruised so all is well :)

Bought a huge photo frame today, We have put our scans around the outside and the big picture space in the middle is where babies photo will go when he/she is born :)

Went shopping today for baby gros etc. bought an adorable coat and 4 piece suit. only five pounds each from asda! and 3 piece sleep suits long sleeve and 3 piece sleep suits short sleeves only 1.75! defo be buying more stuff from asda! things are starting to seem more real now! starting to feel that there really is a baby in there :) just dying to meet whoever is in there! Got a huge feeling were having a baby boy though. For some strange reason im not even interested in looking at baby girl clothes. I feel i should but im just drawn totally to boy clothes. weird huh? but i will be over the moon if there is a girl in there :)

Went for a routine scan today! baby looks really good :) all healthy and happy. bouncing around :) felt the first movement last night! it was so strange :) i had my hand on my belly n i cud feel this pushing up on my tummy :) i was screaming with excitement lol. n i could feel little flutters in my tummy. whether that was excitement or the baby i dont know lol but i defo felt the baby last night. anyway the scan went really well. got a good pic of babies face as he/she was facing the camera wen they took pic! ill have to upload pics on here soon :) just really happy baby is ok. saw the little heart beat. just on a high from feeling baby etc :) happy days :)

Today baby has discovered the wonders of fruit pastilles! and cant get enough!

Nothing much has been happening lately. Baby is always kicking! theyre going to be a thai boxer just like their daddy i think! We still dont know what we are having! We are keeping the babies sex a surprise! which i am so excited about! its actually not as hard as i thought it would be! a few days after our 20 week scan it was hard not knowing because we were asked if we wanted to know, BUT we decided before we went in that we would like to leave it as a surprise! i am very excited about meeting our bay and cant wait to see what were having. I keep imagining our little boy or girl, what he or she will look like, smile like and gurgle like! i have a deep feeling im carrying a boy, ive had this instinct since about 12 weeks on into the pregnancy! But the more i think about it i have my doubts! but it is all fun and i am so excited to finally meet our gorgeous son or daughter!!! Aaron bought the baby a mini chelsea football kit the other day! MEN FOR YA! lol, i imagine him sat with our baby on his lap cheering at the tv screen while watching football! my heart melts every time i think about it! And i imagine if we had a daughter how close her and her daddy would be! Aaron would be more in love with her than me im sure! If we do have a girl i think shell be gorgeous! a right little daddies girl! My mum and I went into town theother week and looked at beautiful baby clothes! There were the most gorgeous summer dresses, polka dot dresses with matching pants n hats! I will definately be buying our daughter gorgeous summer dresses if we have a duaghter! If we have a boy, i think theyll be a right mummies boy! ill spoil him so much! and aaron will adore him, and do father and son activities, like football etc. Im so excited! i just cant wait to meet our baby and enjoy getting to know them! 2 months and 4 days left! I am in week 30 and sooooooooo excited to meet our baby!!!!
