Well as some of you know I was being induced Monday Feb 4th in the morning. I woke up very early Monday morning around 12:30-1 w/ alittle blood w/ my mucus and started to have mild contractions which I didn't time cause I was going to be induced anyways. I checked in the hospital at 5:30 AM and got the IV running and settled in waiting for the Dr who was coming in at 7 AM Still was getting contractions and some were stronger than others. When the Dr came I told her about my contractions and she said lets see and I was 4-5 cm dilated! So I think if I wasn't going to induced he still would of been born that day. I started being induced alittle after 7:30 AM. She started me off slowly and the nurse uped it every 30 mins. The contractions started getting more intense and I knew that the time was getting closer. Water still didn't break. I went to the bathroom at a certain point noticing I had the urge to push so I did while no one was looking. I kept pushing when I had to and just as I was going to call for the nurse to tell her I have to push cause I could feel his head down there and she walked in. As soon as I said I have to push my water broke! I kept on pushing by myself as she got the Dr. So I got on the bed and the Dr. let me continue to push on my own! I wish you could of seen it, I was doing everything myself while they were getting their stuff on. All the Dr really did was catch him and I sort of helped too! I almost got away w/ no tearing or anything but Tanner's hand came out w/ his head scratching me, what she called a custom tear so I got acouple 2-3 stiches He was born sunny side up at 9:27AM, about 2 hrs after my induction and no pain meds! He weighed 7pds 8oz and is 20" tall. He has alittle jaundice. He is such a cutie! I can't believe he's here and I did all the work myself! W/ my others I had to hold my knees and have someone hold my feet and this time I just layed as comfortable as I could get and pushed him out. It is an experience I'll never forget!

Well Nathan is doing okay with his medication. The thing is, I'm having a hard time excepting that he has reflux. I mean I understand that he might, but I don't know if I'm comfortable with continuing with his medication (Zantac 2x/day). The only way he really got diagnosed is, well, basically I told the doctor about his eating habits changing all of a sudden and him screaming and arching his back, and he said it's reflux. He said there are tests, but they are not neccessary. He said Zantac is a very common medication given to babies with Reflux and it won't do him harm. My concern is, I'm just not sure I want to keep giving him these meds, I'm trying to give it to him for one more week and take him off and see how he does on his own. I'm also trying to figure out other ways of treating this then medication. Formula switching is out of the question already since I have changed his formula 3 times when he was like 1 month before finding the Similac Advance works best for him. He's been on Similac for almost 2 months now. It's frustrating for me because I'm not a medication type of person, but if it helps my son, then I have to give it to him.

It's not too early to be giving juice? I'm only giving Nathan formula, and he has Reflux so he only eats about 4.5 oz - 6 oz of formula each feeding. I heard that giving cereal for reflux is okay and I don't even do that. But I didn't know moms were already giving their babies juices and cereal. Now I'm wondering when I should start. lol

yeah i do all the cooking (except for steak he does that) and I pack his lunch... I don't work so I feel its the least I can do. I also do all the shopping and try to keep the house caught up.. now the yard work I havent done much there since Izzy has been born, but then again its still too cold to have her out there too long.

i got her sleeping from 8-5 and then from about 5:30-7:30. seems to work for me because at 5:30 I have to get my hubby yup for work and pack his lunch.
Tanner like to stand? Izzy is obessed with it. even with burping her,you have to make sure she cant get her feet on anything or she tries to stand while you are burping her. swear she would stand every minute that she is awake..

sometimes i miss the 0-3 clothes they were so tiny. debating on how the onsies are made matters if they fit her ok.. some are huge on her, and others I feel I have to stretch some (because she is long).
cant wait for it to warm up here so I can start having her wear cute summer dresses and ect.
lately I have been helping to take care of my niece (Serenity) she is 22 months.. gives me practice to see if I think I can handle having two kids I guess. I was holding Serenity last night and Izzy looks right up after her and starting babbling really loud and kinda sounded mean- I think she was telling her I was her mommy..lol

congrats on him rolling over. izzy completely wants nothing to do with being on her belly. I put her like that but she scream the entire time except if I lay her like that on me..then she will crawl up me to give me a kiss.

she loves kisses and wants them all the time.. Silly girl! Izzy is obsessed with her voice..guess the past month or so.. she is making noise almost every moment she is a wake. We started a game in the car or if I am in a different room where she will make a noise then I will and then her again.... keeps her entertained.

her morning nap was short but I put her down at 1 and she is still sleeping now. I'm hoping she will be hungery for her next feeding I can hardly get her to eat anything.

yes, she is quite long. Like I said she has a cousin that is 2 months older then her and Izzy is longer then her cousin. I have to get 6-12 months pants for Izzy because of how long her legs are... (had to make belts to make them stay up.) she does to the doctor on the 12 or 13th I cann't wait to see how long she is.

Mya is doing really good! She likes to now stand on my legs alot. She is super vocal as well. Typical girl! LOL I have only a few 3 month items she can still fit in. Almost all of her clothes are 6 month ones now. We are scheduled to have her baptised on July 2nd. How is Tanner?

hello, I wanted to say that I originally told you to wrap the cones with foil, well, you don't have to. I didn't have any foil so I just baked them as is and it worked great. I just put all 24 cones in a baking pan (one with sides like the kind you would bake a cake in) and they held each other up. I hope the kids will like them. I made 24 choc. and 24 vanillia. i have choc. icing and van. icing then I have choc chips, sprinkles, and gummie bears. I also bought whipped cream incase someone doesn't like icing. I will let you know how it goes. take care!!!!

thanks! wannabe amateur photographer gone wild. beckett is SUCH a ham already. when he sees a camera, he starts flirting. my mom was borrowing the bag to take some stuff to her house and cracked that beckett would fit in the bag... so in he went, heehee :)

Thank you for your reply. I know we'd find a way if we decide to have a 3rd. But it's just such a big decision. I'm the youngest of 4, and always wanted at least 3 kids. We'll see what happens.
