my son was the same way! He slept all the time when I was pregnant and because I had a high risk pregnancy I had to get nonstress tests and it would always take him forever to wake up and show-up on the screen- there were a few times where the nurses and I both had a scare because he just slept and slept..HOWEVER.....it is a different story now- Like Christopher, he sleeps great at night, but only takes a few 30 minute naps during the day. He is not cranky or upset during the day so I am not worried. Ryland is a valentine's day baby!

I absolutely love having a little boy! When I was pregnant I thought I wanted a girl, but now that I have this little guy, I wouldn't wnat anything else! In fact, I told my husband the other day that I want another little boy exactly like Ryland; I wish I could clone him! He is just too darn sweet! The first month home with Ryland was fantastic! He slept all the time and there was tons of company to cook, clean, do laundry and just help out- Then all of the company and visitors stopped and the next 2 months were really hard. Once I got over the 2nd and 3rd months, things started to get better and now things are just fabulous! I love it! Not that I didn't love it before, it just took a lot of adjusting.

Awww sweety, anytime you want to vent or want some advice I'll be more than happy to offer support or give you my opinion. I really hope you guys work something out for Christopher's sake weather you stay friends or lovers. He came into your life with alot of baggage and it sucks that it isn't working out but he gave you a little angel to give you the strength that is hard to find anywhere else.
I know you must be missing your brother and when you get depressed I'm sure he enters your thoughts but I hope that you find courage to lift yourself up off the ground and realise you can be better than this. Us women are incredible beings otherwise we wouldn't be thrown so many challenges in our life. Men have it easy because they're not built like us. Their arms are strong to carry out the rubbish and bring in the shopping. We may not be as hard working as men but thats only because we got it right the first time...LOL.
At the end of the day no matter weather your alone or stay with your boyfriend remember one thing.....the pool guy can always take out your trash and bring in the shopping

Thats fantastic news, so now you can enjoy him heaps more. Wow, 4 months old....they grow so fast and learn sooo much in the first year and even though the first year is the toughest it's the best!!!
