My Husband and I have been married since September 23rd, 2005. We met at Bible School in Oklahoma. We had dated for 22 months by the time we got married,...yeah I know, that's a long time, but there's a reason why ,which is a long story. We live in Florida now doing ministry with my parents church. We are working on having children, we can't wait! We started TTC Sept. 15th, 2006...... and got pregnant in February 2008!!

We have a tuxedo kitty named Oliver and a Beagle named Lucy.

I'm really grateful that I found this site, the women here have been so wonderful and helpful!

the Dr. said I'm (roughly) about 4 weeks, I could be a lil' more, but I won't know for sure until I see my reg. OB/GYN for a sonagram :D

I Found out on Thursday night but I've been ill so I haven't had a chance until now to tell you!!! :D yay!

Howdy everyone, I know it's been atleast a couple of weeks since I've been on here... I have a big update, but don't Freak out, ok?

Tuesday I went into the ER for the second time in just over a week. The Doctor I had there rocked and I'm so glad cause he saved my life and my baby's life....

I had Diarreah uncontrollable for over a month and then I was throwing up. Over Easter Weekend I couldn't keep anything down, I was throwing up every little bit and by Tuesday was having heart palpatations. My Potassium was at 2.3 when 3.6 is considered LOW!!

The ER Doctor decided NOT to just release me because I'd just wind up back there in a couple of days so he admitted me. (the P.O. Halifax) I was there from Tuesday until this afternoon (Friday). I was on a constant I.V. with Potassium and taking potassium pills morning and night. Every morning at 5:30 a nurse would come in and take blood to check my Potassium levels... Needless to say, they were star

ting to run out of veins in my arms and I don't have as much Arm hair either from all the tape used! lol

Finally the OB got me a G.I. doctor to come talk to me (turns out the same guy who did my last colonoscopy when I was 18!)... so this morning I had to be "cleaned out" :::Shudders::::: and then wheeled into pre-op for the "sygmoidoscopy" which turned into a "colonoscopy" ... I must say that this experience was nothing compared to when I was a kid!! The GI said the "UC" is "Severe Severe Severe" and put me on Asecol and Prednesone... he said once the dirreah is under control I can back off the steroids to a lower dose!

I am now at home and am doing ok, I have a krud load of meds and stuff to take. I have to take Steroids and anti-inflammatories to get my bowel in control.... or else I'd die from lack of potassium due to diarreah.

Yes, Michael and I have talked and thought it over and Yes, I am pregnant and having to take steroids, but Baby and I will be just fine! We have the Creator of the Universe dwelling within us and we have the power of prayer, so please DON"T comment this with an "OMG, Steroids and pregnancy" Article, ok?

Just thought I'd drop by and make an update real quick,.... So far I've been in the ER about 8 times? in the past 8 weeks? admitted twice...... Morning sickness went away,... Supposed to be having my first sonogram on Tuesday..... lol that's it in a nutshell.

I'm feelin' a lil' better,.... Love to all!

Well, I was in the ER again Yesterday,.... Yesterday SUCKED

. Long story and don't feel like wasting space about it.... But I was Dehydrated and low potassium again, was in the ER from noon till 7:30!!!

TODAY hubby and I are going for my SONOGRAM!!! Very

first one, we are excited and I'm a lil' nervous about going, I don't know why. lol I am now 3 Months!!

Oh, if you have slight morning sickness, I recommend "B- Natal" lolipops and lausenges.... they are b-6 NON-prescription and they work. (Not for the full 8 hours you have to wait in between them). My OB sent me home with some to try out.

Anyway, that's my update for now.

I had my sonogram last Tuesday, it went well! Hubby was so proud, he kept saying as we walked out "I'm gonna be a daddy! I'm gonna be a daddy!" ...while wearing his black "World's Greatest Dad" t-shirt.

Sorry I didn't get the sono pic up on here, I got confused on how to get it into my picture area so I had to just upload it to photobucket. I get so lost on this site now since they revamped it!!

The second best part of the OB appt. was across the hall is a favorite lil' cafe of mine,... OMG, the BEST Rasberry Turkey Sandwiches... MMMM!! It's Sourdough bread, Turkey, a thick slice of tomato, a thick slice of cucumber, sprouts, h

oney mustard and rasberry preserves. Sounds weird, but I got hubby to try it after he scoffed and he LOVED it! (I plan on making some up for my baby shower!!!!)

I finally got some batteries for my camera so that means (Hopefully) we'll have some Belly Pics up in the next week!!!

Ok, Love to all, keep my friend in Prayer.... she just miscarried for the 3rd time yesterday. So far she's dealing with it ok, kind of,.... iced over.... but... keep her in prayer.

Hi. Just a short update! I'm doing pretty good :) I felt the baby flutter for the first time this past Sunday while I was laying down for a nap! I also found out this week that there's a local college that gives FREE sonograms so that means I don't have to wait until 22 weeks to find out the sex of my baby! YAY! So excited, I'm going to look into it and do it. I will let You know the results as soon as I find out! :D Hooway! ok,..... hungry now, toodles.

I guess it's about time I updated this, huh? lol

I had my tooth pulled a few weeks ago, I survived. LOL I was so scared!! I hadn't been to a dentist in 12 years due to lack of money and intestinal fortitude.

I am only a few days away from being 5 months!! I will post belly pics as soon as I take some, I've been having problems with my computer, thus why i haven't posted more pics yet.

Tomorrow we are having a yard sale to get rid of alot of stuff since we are moving to North Carolina in August! Stuff like couches, bikes, furniture, tools, some baby clothes, ....etc.

I went to the GI yesterday and he lowered my Prednisone dose from 30 mg a day to 20 mg a day since I'm doing better. He said he could see the effects from it on me.... the horrible acne, the pudgey face and tummy... lol he said that my belly Wasn't all baby,... some of it's "fat cells" haha. I love my GI... he's so cool!

I WILL be finding out the gender in about 2 1/2 weeks!! I can't wait! I know I will cry!! I don't care if it's either gender, just as long as it's healthy, BUT I do think it's a boy.

Today I found out that my ultrasound for finding out the gender of my baby is July 10th!!! Only 13 more days!! I can't wait!

Well, Tomorrow I find out if it's a boy or girl!! I've been able to feel lots of movement in there lately, busy lil' booger!! I've been doing ok,... had rough mornings the last 2 days... threw up once each. I think part of it is nerves due to my parents going to N.C. for a week... I feel better now that it's later in the day. My aunt is staying with my during the day until my hubby comes home.

Today I had my sonogram, baby is well,... and is a BOY!!!!! It was cool cause at first the lady said it was a Girl,... then she got puzzled cause then she couldn't tell,.... but then she pointed out the PeePee and we have a BOY!! His name is Joshua Isaac!

As soon as I get the pictures scanned, I will posted them. It will probably take a couple of days for me since I have to use my dad's older/slower computer. :D

I'm so excited! Saturday is my Baby Shower~ .... I'm having it so "early" because we are moving out of state next month and I won't know anyone and didn't want everyone to spend an arm and a leg shipping everything. It just wouldn't make sense.

I posted my newest sonograms in my pictures, I put them first so ya wouldn't have to search through everything.

Well, in a few hours I will be heading over to my baby shower! I'm so excited! I'm surprised how many people will be attending since it was such short notice,... ( 2 weeks).

My mom and aunt are out doing some last minute food shopping for it, then when they get back I will be busy with food prep. .... Easy stuff.

anyway, I will post a few pics soon as I can... my computer is still on the fritz with not showing that I have a memory card drive. Anyone know how to fix this?
