My DH and I have been TTC for 4 months now. We had decided to wait until he was near graduation from his 28 month Masters program. Now that he graduates in Dec., we're on a mission! I had a chemical pregnancy about 2 months ago. I started feeling really "swimmy-headed" and went to Dr. They drew a HCG level and on the day I got my positive result, I started my period and it was the worst I've had in a long time. The next month, I had a negative HCG level and I don't think I ovulated. So this past month, I did some research and followed the "Sperm Meets Egg Plan" on www.pregnancy loss.info and followed it to a tee. I had a positive OPK on 10-20 so I should be able to test on 11/4. Hoping for that BFP!! Keep you posted. Baby dust to all!!

Feeling pretty good today, other than being tired. No MS yet!!! My mom had no MS with me or my sister, so I'm hoping I can have her same luck!

Ok...so has anyone had acne with pregnancy??? I rarely break out, and now I have like 5 zits! Guess it must be the raging hormones. My nipples are sore. I'm so excited though...it's just the beginning!!!

First bout of MS this morning. Woke up and couldn't go back to sleep due to nausea. Ate some Triskets and drank some diet Pepsi. No vomiting...thank God!! I have really bad GERD (heartburn) and I'm hoping I don't vomit. It feels like someone lit my esophagus on fire when I throw up!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I made myself eat. I'm just feeling yuck these past couple of days. A little on the nauseated side, but no vomitting, so that's what counts for me!

Only 1 more week till 1st U/S!! We can't wait!!!! My DH is calling me his peanut factory! Too funny! I just hope to hear ONE healthy heartbeat.

Starting to have some mild cramping today. I read on the website that it's normal for this time during pregnancy, or at least I hope so. No bleeding!! My belly is already starting to feel a little tighter. I've gained maybe 2-3 lbs. I just haven't felt like working out at all. Either I'm nauseaed, too tired or have a headache. The timing is never right!!

Had 1st appt today. Didn't get U/S. Dr's office doesn't do an U/S until 18 weeks. I'm sorry, but I don't think I can wait that long!! They did a very enjoyable exam and drew blood (had to stick twice because they said I was dehydrated...whatever). We scheduled an U/S on the 17th (told you I couldn't wait). I've had some dreams that I'm having twins. I just want to make sure. I couldn't imagine finding out that I'm having twins at 18 weeks!! So until then....

Turn off the faucets already!! Talked to my mom today about Christmas and got soooo emotional. My husband graduates from his master's program on the 13th. We are sooo strapped with money right now that I'm not planning on anyone getting much of a Christmas. I don't know why it bothered me so much today. I guess I'm upset because I can't even go Christmas shopping. My mom offered money for Christmas, but I can't take it. Oh well...enough of my pity party. I've also been getting headaches everyday! They're killing me, but I'd rather have headaches than nausea!!

Graduation day!! Yeah!! I've waited 28 long months for this. I'm still in shock! It's finally over! Now our lives can get back to normal...well normal and pregnant!

Has 1st U/S today (will post picture later...in the middle of moving). Only one baby appeared!! Heartbeat was 167 and measured 10wks, 2 days! It was so unbelievable to hear that heartbeat for the 1st time. It just makes things that much more real...could barely breathe! Also got to see baby move. So we're right on target!

Merry Christmas to all! Haven't been online much lately. After my husband graduated, we're in the process of moving things back home and I'm going to try to commute to work. I don't know how long that will last. My employer is not willing to work much with my schedule, so that's going to make it much easier for me to quit! Got to find a new job 1st though! Will do after the beginning of the year.

I went and got the valance to the nursery theme we picked out so I could get paint samples. I'm so anxious to get things going, but I know I have to be patient. We have plenty of time, but I'm just so excited. I am now officially through my 1st trimester. I've been so lucky...hardly any morning sickness at all!! I'm starting to grow out of clothes, so I went to Motherhood and got some new ones! I had to get some new jeans as I am "rolling" out of my other ones.
