Well this is my first baby and I'm super excited and scared at the same time. We found out on October 9 that we're having a little boy. I like the name Aiden so we'll probably go with that. It's crazy how many emotions you can have at one time! I'm a nurse and was planning on going back to school next year to get my bachelors degree, but I guess I'll have to put that on hold since I'll have a full plate. I'm very open to chat with anyone on here and get some free advice. I'll try to give as much advice as possible but I don't know how much help I'll be!! CONGRATULATIONS to all the moms! :

Well we had Aiden early on February 11th. I ended up having pre-eclampsia and leaking amniotic fluid so they did an emergency c-section. He's still in the NICU b/c his lungs were pre-mature, but hopefully he'll be home soon!!!!

I saw your question about not producing enough on the breastfeeding board. I was told to leave the pump on for ten or more minutes after the milk stops...This will tell your body to produce more for the baby...It's worked for me so far. In 24 hours I went from producing 2 oz. to producing 4 oz. I hope this helps!

Baby's typically grow out of the acid reflux. My son's finally went away when he was a year old. My daughter has it also, and she's 2 months now. She is on medication for it. If your little one doesn't seem to be in a lot of pain during or after eating, and isn't throwing up too much, then you're probably okay to not be on meds for it.

yes I know what you mean about the head aches. But keep in mind. Babies only get actual milk every 15 minutes on each breast and then they are just sucking for pleasure. If your little one is like that (Like mine was) then try a pacifier and that'll help them soothe to sleep.

If your baby is breast fed he/she will probably have 1 ,2 or 3 feedings at night until they are 3 months old, then they will have 1 feeding. If they are formula fed he/she might sleep through the night once they are 3 months

hahah yehh i know i was just wondering if anyone tried to induce themselfs but using any technique.... my grandmother used it and she went into false labor and had the worse delivery so i thought if anyone else had bad experiences like this haha... but no worries i kinda this that would worry meee too much if i did that

Im SOOO glad to hear someone else has gained weight like me...hehe.
You look WAY smaller than me though! Your so cute! Everyone keeps saying Im all baby, but its hard to believe them sometimes. :) Well, good luck to you and Congrats!!!

Your belly isn't huge...you look great! You can't be any bigger than me! I am glad the dizziness is gone and sorry about the sciatica...I heard that it was painful. I have been having pain down there as well especially at night when I get up to go to the bathroom. I haven't been sleeping well at all either my midwife told me to start taking tylenol pm at least 2 nights a week. I can't believewe only have five weeks left...don;t you feel like we have been prego forever? I have heard that most firstborns come late but most of the recent cases I have seen (friends, cousins, etc) seems to be right on time give or take 2 or 3 days...so we'll see! I have been getting BH's like crazy but I guess that doesn't really mean anything right?!

hey there... sorry to hear that you're uncomfortable. I would most def get a second opinion and asap because all of those signs are signs of preeclampsia. I actually was struggling with the same thing and was at the hospital this weekend because of it. All is fine now but have to be monitored closer. I would call the dr again and demand to be seen by someone else and have a second opinion. Good luck... let me know how things go.

Im sure if there was any reason for concern, the doctor would have said something to you, or sent you for a sono. Im sure he is fine :) He is probally just getting excited to meet his mommy!

caffine will def make the heatbeat go skye high... thats y they tell u not to drink anything with caffinee... but im not sure what else besides that... bc during my 20 wk ultrasound to find out the sex i drank some coke so i would be able to see the private parts, and his heaqtbeat was way higher than normalll
