Well this is my first baby and I'm super excited and scared at the same time. We found out on October 9 that we're having a little boy. I like the name Aiden so we'll probably go with that. It's crazy how many emotions you can have at one time! I'm a nurse and was planning on going back to school next year to get my bachelors degree, but I guess I'll have to put that on hold since I'll have a full plate. I'm very open to chat with anyone on here and get some free advice. I'll try to give as much advice as possible but I don't know how much help I'll be!! CONGRATULATIONS to all the moms! :
Well we had Aiden early on February 11th. I ended up having pre-eclampsia and leaking amniotic fluid so they did an emergency c-section. He's still in the NICU b/c his lungs were pre-mature, but hopefully he'll be home soon!!!!

hey there... sorry to hear that you're uncomfortable. I would most def get a second opinion and asap because all of those signs are signs of preeclampsia. I actually was struggling with the same thing and was at the hospital this weekend because of it. All is fine now but have to be monitored closer. I would call the dr again and demand to be seen by someone else and have a second opinion. Good luck... let me know how things go.

Hey jina I'm in the same boat my doctor won't do my next and last u/s until I'm 36 wks so that maybe the same time 4 u I'm jealous that everyone else has had theirs and know how much their baby weighs

Im sure if there was any reason for concern, the doctor would have said something to you, or sent you for a sono. Im sure he is fine :) He is probally just getting excited to meet his mommy!

caffine will def make the heatbeat go skye high... thats y they tell u not to drink anything with caffinee... but im not sure what else besides that... bc during my 20 wk ultrasound to find out the sex i drank some coke so i would be able to see the private parts, and his heaqtbeat was way higher than normalll

Hi, when I was at the dr, my baby's heartbeat went down to 113. It freaked me out! I asked the dr about it and she says that the heart beat can move up and down like that and it was nothing to worry about.

my doc measured me at 37 weeks when i was 30 wks!!!!! yeah big difference.... and i do think im neasuring big bc the top of my uterus is by my boobs not below lol so i go for an ultrasound next week to see if my baby is big from my gestinal diabetes orr if i have too much amniotic fluid in there...

Hey I'm from week 34 and I've gained 40 pounds so far...seems like weight gain has slowed down because at my last couple appointments I was the same. Good luck to ya! And don't worry, everyone gains different..my sister is a size 0 and she gained 70 pounds during her pregnancy..went right back down to her size 0.

I was really lucky. I had a photographer fly into Austin for the holidays, from L.A. and a friend set it up for free. Turns out he wanted to add mat pics to his portfolio. I've seen people on Craigs list though asking for models in exchange for free pics. You should go for it. Get some lamps, hang some curtains on the wall, and get sexy. You can even print pics that you google of prego chics, and have them copy those pics with you. Just think, you get the final say on which ones people see. good luck, let me know if you take some!

Well, I have gall bladder stones and I am having it out on march 17th. I also requested to be induced and my doc said ok. she is so great. I got another u/s today too she does them a lot just to check on the baby. My docis wonderful she is very carign and spends about 1/2 hour in the room with us when we go. she also check my every time just to make she that my cervix is ok and closed. She is just wonderful she is very much like a friend to us.

thank god I read your post! I was 25 pounds to start (I'm also 5'4) and I've gained 34 pounds! But it's not fat - it's alllll belly! Don't stress...I'm not going to anymore

Hey there, I hit the 35lb mark about the same time, all together I've gained 46lbs. Started at 126 and now am 171. The one girl on my site gained alot of weight and lost over 20lbs in a day after giving birth. I figure I'll lose alot at labour and most of the rest breast feeding. I'm also 38 with my first pregnancy. Not too worried about it - I hate not being fit, but figure it'll all come off. Don't sweat it too much - everyone is different.

Thx for the kind words. :) I am not too heart borken about all the things that I am suffering from. If anything I am happy. It shows that I feel and I am already blessed. I went through alot of things after my daugther was born and never thought I would have anymore kids. I never thought a website was for just venting always thought it was for everything. Oh well! I don't know any of the ppl that I did upset so not worries. :) Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and enjoy your babe when he/she gets here!

Hi There ! As far as the 3d ultrasound.. yes its a lot of money . I was lucky to get it for a gift from my best friend. But i think you are right.. would that $100 be better off used for the baby when he gets here ? Or now ? It's a tough decision.. but for me i got lucky.

I know how you feel about thunder thighs! I swear that's where most of my fat gain has been. I'm so neurotic about it too because while I'm at work I swear I can feel them jiggle against each other...I should just get on the tredmill right now...

well how tall are u and how much did u weight b4 pre preg. weight???? bc i was like 115 and im 5 1/2 so im small and its funny to see me so big with my little frame hahahaha and my little man is like big waves in the belly instead of kicks heheh hopefully he comes a little earlier lol

We seem to only do it doggie now too...which is my favorite posititon anyway so...You can sit on a chair that is to his height with him on his knees...you on top...or spooning...otherwise the rest of them get tricky, uncomfortable, or risky for the baby. I told my fiance that I'm going on the penis diet after baby. Meaning we're going to be having as much sex as possible with me on top so I can get the exercise I need! He seemed pretty happy with the idea! I just want to be able to do it normally again and feel really sexy when we do...

People can be so dense, no? I wouldn't worry too much about the tummy...everybody loves a good pregnant tummy! I know when I tell people 2 more months, they're like 'whoa momma...you're gonna have big guns'
