Today I went to see the doctor for so upper abdominal pain... probably a liver or gallbladder problem (Just what I needed... on my first day NOT feeling queasy!). I did get to hear the baby's cute little heart beat for the first time. Since my husband wasnt with me, I asked the doctor if we could wait til Brian could be there, so we're gonna do it again on Friday (They are doing an ultrasound of my liver and gallbladder on Friday). So I am denying that I actually heart the heartbeat until I hear it with my wonderful husband!

Today we had another appointment. So far so good. At this point I have gained 10 pounds. Thats exciting.... I guess. We got to listen to that little heartbeat again which sounds a lot stronger and louder than it did last time. The doctor had no trouble finding it. We also scheduled our next ultrasound... we have to wait until April 18 to find out the gender of our baby. That sounds like such a long time! By then I will be 21 weeks. I guess its just disappointing becuase it sounds like so many people are finding this out now (17 weeks). So boo for that, but Im sure the next month will fly by just like the last 4.

I'm glad I'm not the only pregnant tomato fan...I love any kind and now that you mentioned the strawberry tomatoes I'll have to keep my eye out. I sliced a whole tomato and put it in 1 whole egg + 1 egg white for an omelet with some cheese for breakfast...OMGosh THE BEST!!!

yeah, I vaguely remember going through this with my first pregnancy. I just barely squeezed my wedding band by itself on today... I only drink water, and not a lot of sodium full foods, so it's crazy that I am so puffy in my hands!
Oddly enough, I have the problem at night with my rings! Mornings I can get them on, then afternoons I swell and have to take them off before it's too late. Yesterday I have divots in my finger!
I completely understand how you feel about having your rings off. I hate it. We're in our 7th year now, and I just feel naked without them!

thats still not much thats a healthy weight...im sure youll get rid of it fast, i think it depends on the person, if your commited youll have no problems, plus breastfeeding really helps!!!! i hear it burns 500 cals a day pretty nice! i hope you are well :)

i actually lost most of my weight in the first month, and was down to my pre preg size (125) at 8 weeks. i gained about 26 pounds when i was pregnant.. so now i just have to tone everything which isnt too bad except im lazy haha thanks for the comment!!

Okay, they are cut from the same cloth and long lost relatives. Karen won't decorate just her apartment but the stairs and everything outside her apartment. I'm surprised nothing has gotten stolen. At the holidays our house just looks confused. One part is Jewish and the other Christian so literally I have half of the house decorated for Hanukkah and the other half for Christmas. Two years ago when she was watching Madelyn during Hanukkah Maddy was old enough to play with her driedel and Karen said, well I see you are celebrating your mommy's holiday too. I was just like lady if there was no Hanukkah there would be no Christmas so shut your mouth. Too bad you guys aren't in Texas, I would totally drive by her house to see it. This year you have an excuse because of wanting to make sure "her grandchild" is taken care of you can't help decorate, ha ha! We should send our MILs on vacation together somewhere maybe then they would see how each of them are so annoying!! Could you imagine the pictures that they would come back with, oh my!

That makes more sense since he is an only child. My husband has two brothers. She needs to cut those apron strings, he has left her for his new family YOU and THE BABY!! I have to ask because oh my I think they are long lost relatives. Does your MIL regift? First our wedding gifts that were sent to her house, she unwrapped them and then re wrapped them and wrote what it was on the package. She is a big re gifter. She gave us gifts for our anniversary, whatever but get this...they were gifts that were given to her by my future SIL's family at Christmas and she told us where they came from on the card. She said, I didn't spend any money, these were given to me by Kelly's parents and I don't need anymore towels. What does she do with all of the photos? Does she put them in albums?
