Hi I am a 30 year old mom with two beautiful little boys. Joseph Paul who was born June 24, 2005 and Zackary Donald who was born in October 28, 2007. Things are not always easy but God gives me the strength to deal with it all. I am married to a wonderful guy for almost 8 years now. Together we make a terrific family and I would not change it for the world.

July 1st 2008

Ok so now Joey made it to three years old and weighs in at this time at 35.8lbs and is 35 1/2 inches tall. Smart as a whip too...Zack at 8 months measures in at 21.9 lbs and is is round about 29 inches. He had a rough life to start. He was born happy and healthy but somehow ended up with RSV and his world was turned upside down for quite sometime. He seems to be better now since his surgery he had at 6months of age so I am counting my blessings. As of right now he is not crawling but he gets up on all fours, climbs on stuff and scoots on his butt everywhere. He says mama, dada, baba, nana, lala, and so on so forth. He has two bottom teeth and 4more trying to pop out on top.

July 20 2008

Well things are going a little better with Zack now. He has this swollen leg and wierd rash on it which is worriesome to me. I thought for awhile that it was causing him to have trouble crawling and that he was having trouble putting weight on it. We have an appointment to see a dermatologist about the rash that appeared after an IV that was in his foot for three days was taken out. We are going to one of the best doctors up in UNC Chapel hill on 8/20 (takes over two hours to get there) Anyway this past weekend he has surprised me in doing the army crawl(he is mastering it) and he will once and awhile get up on his knees to try and crawl but does fall back down. Also this past weekend he has mastered the walker and realized that he can go anywhere in it and get to anything..(child proofing was a must this weekend) so at least I see improvement on him putting weight on it. he does have 6 teeth now which life has been easier since they have popped through. he still takes 2-3 naps a day and will sleep anywhere from 930pm till 930am waking up maybe 2x for his paci or a bottle. Joey on the other hand has become quite the devious child and full of lots of energy. He has become whiny and very emmotional. Its a stage I know so Iam counting it does not last long. His big accmplishment is he finally learned to ride his bike, tricycle and big wheel that we have had awhile. Also he has become quite the swimmer too. Between both boys my life is very full.
