Hey guys..... so a little bit about myself. I am 25 married to my wonderful husband Scottie of 2 years. I have a 4 year old daughter from a previous engagement, and my husband has 2 boys from a previous marriage. So with this baby we will together have 4 children. Needless to say we are finished!!!!! I am due May 2nd, with a baby girl, which we will name Sadie Madison. We are super excited and so ready to see her precious little face. My step sons are 15 and 9, so they are not at all even interested in the fact that they are going to be brothers again!!!! On the other hand my daughter Autumn is extactic!!!!!! She tells me everyday how much she loves her Sadie Madison......is that not just the sweetest thing you have ever heard, what a dear baby!!! I really hope to make some new friends by joining this site. I feel like I already know some of you guys as I have been following this site since I was about 5 weeks pregnant.

Well I had my monthly appt today and all is great. Baby is measuring about 3 weeks ahead, putting me at around 24 weeks but they kept my due date the same. I definatley can tell I am getting bigger, this morning I lost my breath tying my shoes!!! LOL My sweet little Autumn, said I am not fat I am just a little big. She is so sweet. You can definatley tell I am pregnant now, my husband says it looks like I am getting bigger by the minute. Pregnancy is really good to me, except for the weight gain. Food has never tasted better!!!! I could eat until I make myself sick!!! It seems like time is going by so slowly now.....I am so ready to see what our little princess looks like.

So I had to go to the Dr. today. I now have to go every Tuesday and every Friday until little miss Sadie decides to grace us with her presence. I have a blood clot in my placenta that they are having to watch really closley. It is fun to get to hear her heart beat twice a week and get a sonogram once a week, to see how she is growing. I just hate the drive to the hospital!!! All went well today, I had another NST. I am really ready to see my baby and know she is alright. I just hope I make it to term, to ensure that she can come home with me. I am feeling huge these days, I have already gained 28 lbs, and am now up to a whopping 202 lbs!!!! Feeling a little more depressed than I would like. I guess it is just all the stress, and the demands of a husband and 4 year old. It was alot easier to be pregnant when I didn't have any kids!!!! I can never get off my feet, or take a break. What I would give to have a full body massage!!!! Not to much longer now.....My Dr. said today that if I make it to 39 weeks that he would induce me!! YAY! So that means I will have an April baby. Well gotta go for now I will update later......

Addi hates the bath too, I don't know why I would think the pool would be any different! I have to share this...when we got back from the pool today my husband had a card and a gift sitting on the table for me. The card was sooo sweet, but the gift was AWESOME! It is a necklace called the Empress Love Knot. Symbolizes an eternal embrace of love, strength and wisdom that every mother carries within! How sweet is he? I cried like Addi in the pool...LOL!

It went fine! She liked it, she drank 4oz!! No reactions or anything other than she was drinking too fast and got choked. I gave her some more today. I put her in the pool this afternoon...omg she hated it...LOL!

Aww...that made me cry! That is sooo sweet! Addi is cranky this morning. This period is kicking my ass, so after our 6:30 bottle we went back to sleep until 11 and she slept with me. Sooo...now she is attached to my hip!

My babies pediatrician told me that babies need about an ounce an hour so 3 oz's every 3 to 4 is good.

I was wondering the same thing about Addi. I feel bad some times when I lay her down cause I feel like I don't spend any time playing with her, but she is sleepy! No I haven't introduced anything but pedialite. Can we give them juice yet? I would like to if I could.

I give Addi a mohawk some times...it is great! Addi sleeps alot during the daytime as well. She may stay up an hour between feedings, but usually she is right back out. From 8 to 8 she prob sleeps 9 hours. Then sleeps all night.

OMG I am sooo sorry! I know everything will be ok tho. Autism in girls is not that common, so try to keep remembering that. I think Sadie is just lazy and laid back. Didn't you have to go to a specialist because she wasn't moving when you were pregnant? I am sure that's all it is. I know exactly what you mean about thanking god for your kids. I was watching extreme makeover home edition last night and it was sooo sad. It was a repeat but I had never seen it before. They had 4 kids and they all had a diesease that didn't allow them to eat. They knew that all 4 of them would never grow up. OMG, I was crying like a baby. I was wondering if you saw it too, cause of what you said about moms and dads watching their children die. I could not imagine! Oh and about my friend and the steriods, no they did not. She woke up in the middle of the night in pain, when she got to the hospital her placenta had detached. She had to have an emergency c section. Enough sad stuff! Sadie almost looks like she is smiling in that pic where your husband is holding her and she seems very alert. I wanna play with her hair!! LOL!

How did the doc go? I didn't get to go, I started this morning..WTF! I rescheduled for Friday, hope I am off by then. Ya know we are so blessed, I realize that every day. But a friend of mine gave birth Friday at 31 weeks. She and the baby are ok, but of course he has to stay in the hospital a little while. It was supposed to be a girl and turned out to be a boy. He was almost 5lbs and was 18 inches long. Can you imagine how big he would have been full term?!

I read your comment about your daughter's face...How old is she? It sounds like hives, right off the bat, because you said it looks like welts. However, it could quite possibly be infant acne, which is what my soon to be 4wk old is experiencing. You might want to see her pediatrician so they can be more specific about her skin condition. I know hives causes welts...

WOW...I wish I could say that Addi didn't cry during the day. She is sleeping great. She does the same thing with the grunting and that's wakes me up. She doesn't really cry at night. But during the day I know her crying routine...LOL! She sleeps 8 to 10 hours thru the night. So by the time she wakes up she is starving. She eats and then we get in the swing for a minute and she loves it, until she almost falls asleep, then we get cranky, so we lay down, we go back to sleep for a few then we are up again. She will play and laugh for a few and then cranky again. It's the same way every day! I think she just gets cranky when she sleeps so much, but it's not like I am gonna stay up in the middle of the night to keep her awake longer..LOL! I bet Sadie is just a lil lazy right now, but I also bet that in a few months you are gonna have your hands full! I bet she is gonna be the funnest (yea I don't think that's a word...LOL) lil baby ever!

I took those myself. We were gonna go get her pics made, and I feel bad for not doing it yet. But I told my husband I didn't wanna spend the money when we have NO clue if she is gonne be cranky or not. So I just started playing around with the camera and I think the few I took turned out pretty good. I am gonna try to do some more. I haven't started yet. Which I am kinda glad cause I go to the doc on Monday. But I still have the clear discharge and it's tinged with blood. I am hoping this is normal. It is kinda freaking me out!

I have heard of Mom's hemmoraging(sp) after childbirth, I think your little one is 6 weeks though and maybe you're out of the woods as far as that's concerned. Do you normally bleed that heavily with your period? If not, it might be worth a call to your doctor.
