Hey guys..... so a little bit about myself. I am 25 married to my wonderful husband Scottie of 2 years. I have a 4 year old daughter from a previous engagement, and my husband has 2 boys from a previous marriage. So with this baby we will together have 4 children. Needless to say we are finished!!!!! I am due May 2nd, with a baby girl, which we will name Sadie Madison. We are super excited and so ready to see her precious little face. My step sons are 15 and 9, so they are not at all even interested in the fact that they are going to be brothers again!!!! On the other hand my daughter Autumn is extactic!!!!!! She tells me everyday how much she loves her Sadie Madison......is that not just the sweetest thing you have ever heard, what a dear baby!!! I really hope to make some new friends by joining this site. I feel like I already know some of you guys as I have been following this site since I was about 5 weeks pregnant.

Well I had my monthly appt today and all is great. Baby is measuring about 3 weeks ahead, putting me at around 24 weeks but they kept my due date the same. I definatley can tell I am getting bigger, this morning I lost my breath tying my shoes!!! LOL My sweet little Autumn, said I am not fat I am just a little big. She is so sweet. You can definatley tell I am pregnant now, my husband says it looks like I am getting bigger by the minute. Pregnancy is really good to me, except for the weight gain. Food has never tasted better!!!! I could eat until I make myself sick!!! It seems like time is going by so slowly now.....I am so ready to see what our little princess looks like.

02-22-08

So I had to go to the Dr. today. I now have to go every Tuesday and every Friday until little miss Sadie decides to grace us with her presence. I have a blood clot in my placenta that they are having to watch really closley. It is fun to get to hear her heart beat twice a week and get a sonogram once a week, to see how she is growing. I just hate the drive to the hospital!!! All went well today, I had another NST. I am really ready to see my baby and know she is alright. I just hope I make it to term, to ensure that she can come home with me. I am feeling huge these days, I have already gained 28 lbs, and am now up to a whopping 202 lbs!!!! Feeling a little more depressed than I would like. I guess it is just all the stress, and the demands of a husband and 4 year old. It was alot easier to be pregnant when I didn't have any kids!!!! I can never get off my feet, or take a break. What I would give to have a full body massage!!!! Not to much longer now.....My Dr. said today that if I make it to 39 weeks that he would induce me!! YAY! So that means I will have an April baby. Well gotta go for now I will update later......

I can't stand it either. I am gonna have to graduate Addi to the pack n play! She doesn't like it either. I think it is the pillow in her bassinet that she loves. But the pack n play is too big, too easy for her to get underneath it. I dunno what I am gonna do. I don't want to have to force her to like it ya know?

I give her a bath every other day. I don't wanna dry her skin out! Does Sadie sleep in her crib at night? Addi hates the crib and I hate making her cry!

Yes, she does! She doesn't like to be held too much. And when you are holding her, she likes to stand up. She doesn't cuddle any more : ( makes me sad. I can only get her to snuggle up to me if she is really sleepy, then she ends up fussing cause she wants in her bed! She doesn't swat at toys either. I think she is ADD...LOL! She seems to get bored easily. She needs a change after about 10 or 15 mins. Addi tries to laugh outloud. When she does it, I mean we call it laughing outloud, but it's not really "laughing" ya know? Just like a louder coo. And she will make a really loud "AHHHHH" sound. It is hilarious. You can tell she is trying to laugh. And she is gonna have an attitude! When she is not satisfied, she will yell. Not cry, just like scream and then look at you crazy!

LOL, I got skinny but not that skinny! Have you tried to see if Sadie will reach for you yet? I try it with Addi in the swing and I tried it with Arty holding her today. She leaned forward but that was it!

Thank you. I am totally addicted to taking them. I am gonna have to stop, I am running out of room for them...LOL! Yea I am just gonna feed her formula til she is full! I feel horrible saying this, but I don't want her to get too chunky. Simply because Arty's niece is overweight. She is 8, and I know there is a big difference between 3 months and 8 years old. But they fed that kid junk from the beginning. She is 8 and already self consious (sp?) about her weight. She was in the pool the other day and wanted me to take her pic, and she was like wait let me suck my belly in! They shouldn't have to think like that at 8 years old!!!

My daughter had the same just on her face mainly cheeks and a little on her neck, my dr said its her skin reacting to the cold weather (i live in australia and weve had somew really cold days) and its gone now but when it gets really cold it flares up. i also put scratch mits on here when it comes out because her hands are always to her face which seems to make it worse. Hopfully this isnt anything long term maybe the same as my baby reacting to weather. My dr said to keep her face moisturised i use johnsons bed time bath wash and lotion every night but when it flares up use sorbalene (johnsons) cream and it clears up. hope this helps xx

I do live in a nice neighborhood, and we normally don't have to worry about crime. I don't know if you know anything about Memphis or not, but it's like number 1 for crime! The Memphis police dept is on a show called the first 48 all the time. It's a homicide show. Memphis will be on there tonight as a matter of fact. Thank God we live outside there!! The house we were building was in the woods. I am really glad we opted for this house. I want Addi to grow up in a neighborhood like I did. And I hate critters, so me and the woods didn't get along! Oh and Addi's eyes are still dark blue too.n I thought she would have brown eyes by now, since I do. And when can we give them baby food?

We are good. I am so sleepy, but I feel like a loser when I take a nap...LOL! Addi slept from about 9 til 7 this morning but I didn't go to bed til late. I laid down about 10 and was just watching tv. Arty started back nights this week. Well, I was laying there almost asleep and my phone rang at 11:30. I was like WTF! It was my neighbor. She was like, I am not trying to alarm you but I know Arty isn't there so I wanted to call and let you know that the neighborhood watch lady just called me. There is a fugitive running around the neighborhood. He broke in a car and stole their garage door opener and tried to get in their house. She was like, you might wanna go get yours outta your car. Ok, so I watch WAY too much crime TV and I was totally freaked out! I made sure everything was locked. I called Arty and was like PLEASE get home as soon as you can. He called dispatch and they confirmed it but couldn't give him any details, but said she would have an officer call him back cause the guy was spotted again and they were trying to apprehend him. The cop called and said it was just some drunk guy that walked up to an open car and took the door opener. The neighborhood watch was calling him a fugitive cause they were looking for him for "breaking in" the car. So it wasn't as bad as it was made out to be, but it def made me think about staying some where at night! It is always something with me...LOL! DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA!

Yes. It seemed like he had a face full of pimples one night when I put him to bed, and the next morning his face was as clear and soft as his bottom! Now he looks like a baby should :)

No, I haven't seen it. I swear I have ADD when it comes to watching movies. I can't sit still long enough. It has to really hold my attention. I say this but I can also say I have seen Napolean Dynamite...LOL!!

Glad it cleared up and she's doing well now. Did Sadie have cradle cap along with her rash? Karson had quite the bout of baby acne for several weeks there, but it's all clear now. I sure got tired of explaining to everyone that it is perfectly normal for infants to have it. I felt like they thought we didn't bathe him or something...

Maybe we were sisters or something in our past lives! LOL...that is too crazy, I hate the parking things too. I don't see how anything holds that much weight. Addilyn is gonna hate me too, cause everything scares me. Me nephew was helping Arty work on a fence this weekend and I was sooo worried. He is 13 and he is smart and he is HUGE. I knew he could handle it but I was just so scared of something happening to him! I need a big bubble to put Addi in...LOL!

OMG...it's so weird we were just talking about stuff like this. But my SIL called this morning cause there was a bad wreck not too far from our house and she wanted to make sure we were ok. Well, she called me back a little while aog to tell me that it was a man riding with this grandson on a tractor and when he went to turn down another street the little boy fell out. They air lifted him to the hospital. She didn't know if he had run over him with the tractor, or just the fall itself is what hurt him. It is pressumed he was very young. I started crying when she told me. I pray he is ok and pray that the Lord be with the grandfather. I can only imagine what he must be feeling right now. It makes me not want to let Addilyn out of the house. Anything can happen. I promise I think I died in a freak accident in my past life. I am so paranoid of something freaky happening. I hate going thru lights when the wind is blowing really hard. I am afraid it is gonna fall on my car! If there is any construction that involves a crane carrying something, I will turn around cause I just know the crane is gonna drop it on my car! I hate being under overpasses and on bridges, I totally wig out! LOL...I know, I am a freak!!

HA! I know exactly what you mean. I just got off mine. I have decided I am not taking my birth control any more. We will use condoms and the pull out method. I just want my body to be normal. I hate the thought of taking them all the time!

Karson was due on April 25th. He's our first so I wasn't surprised he was late. Sadie and Karson are just a few weeks apart then.

I was looking at your pictures. When did Sadie develop her rash? Did you ever discover what caused it? Poor thing looks miserable!

Thanks! We're sure enjoying him. When was your daughter born? I'm assuming from what I've read on your page that she was born a few weeks before my son was on May 1st.
