Hey guys..... so a little bit about myself. I am 25 married to my wonderful husband Scottie of 2 years. I have a 4 year old daughter from a previous engagement, and my husband has 2 boys from a previous marriage. So with this baby we will together have 4 children. Needless to say we are finished!!!!! I am due May 2nd, with a baby girl, which we will name Sadie Madison. We are super excited and so ready to see her precious little face. My step sons are 15 and 9, so they are not at all even interested in the fact that they are going to be brothers again!!!! On the other hand my daughter Autumn is extactic!!!!!! She tells me everyday how much she loves her Sadie Madison......is that not just the sweetest thing you have ever heard, what a dear baby!!! I really hope to make some new friends by joining this site. I feel like I already know some of you guys as I have been following this site since I was about 5 weeks pregnant.

Well I had my monthly appt today and all is great. Baby is measuring about 3 weeks ahead, putting me at around 24 weeks but they kept my due date the same. I definatley can tell I am getting bigger, this morning I lost my breath tying my shoes!!! LOL My sweet little Autumn, said I am not fat I am just a little big. She is so sweet. You can definatley tell I am pregnant now, my husband says it looks like I am getting bigger by the minute. Pregnancy is really good to me, except for the weight gain. Food has never tasted better!!!! I could eat until I make myself sick!!! It seems like time is going by so slowly now.....I am so ready to see what our little princess looks like.

So I had to go to the Dr. today. I now have to go every Tuesday and every Friday until little miss Sadie decides to grace us with her presence. I have a blood clot in my placenta that they are having to watch really closley. It is fun to get to hear her heart beat twice a week and get a sonogram once a week, to see how she is growing. I just hate the drive to the hospital!!! All went well today, I had another NST. I am really ready to see my baby and know she is alright. I just hope I make it to term, to ensure that she can come home with me. I am feeling huge these days, I have already gained 28 lbs, and am now up to a whopping 202 lbs!!!! Feeling a little more depressed than I would like. I guess it is just all the stress, and the demands of a husband and 4 year old. It was alot easier to be pregnant when I didn't have any kids!!!! I can never get off my feet, or take a break. What I would give to have a full body massage!!!! Not to much longer now.....My Dr. said today that if I make it to 39 weeks that he would induce me!! YAY! So that means I will have an April baby. Well gotta go for now I will update later......

Thanks for your quick response :). I am not sure about the size of mine, they have not told me. (I better ask). I am going to ask to get another ultrasound done at a differnet hospital, to make sure they match up to what my hospital is saying. Right now all I know is that there is one "placenta lake" but it hasn't attached to the utreus (I guess it can turn into Placenta Acctra (spelling?)) The doctor is watching it through ultrasouond (it has not grow or spread). But what scares me is my doctor doesn't know much about it and has never dealt with a delivery having this condition. Maybe I am overeacting, maybe not. I don't know what to think and I am not finding much on the internet about it, except it happens in like 1 in every 2500 pregnancies. I know what you mean about not ready to give it up. I thought at the end of my pregnancy I may never do this again, but now I can't imagine not doing it again. The labor experience was the best experience of my life. It was hard work but worth every minute of it and to think back and realize how fast it really was is so crazy to me. My husband is ready to have another one already...LOL!

Can you please tell me your anwers on your question about placenta lakes, I have one (not sure in size) but I am really worried, considering my doctor doesn't know anything about this. I was thinking about asking for a csection just in case I hemerage. I see you already had your baby, CONGRATS! but can you give me some adivce or info on what delivery would be best. :) thanks April

lol good thing you pump when she sleeps long .. that is great to do and keeps your supply up and running ... full breast are such an uncomfortable thing ugh... pedi is right ... my case is different my little one was a month early so I guess that is the reason I have to keep waking her or giving her the bottle when she is sleepy. Keep up the good work mom!! ;0)

The other day that happened to me ..my baby's last feeding I remembered was 5 in the morning than we both went back to sleep and I woke up at 9:30 I was sooo nervous because she wouldn't wake and I know she has to eat since breast milk is such a light fluid.. I had to grab a bag of breast milk from my freezer thaw it out and give her a 2 ounce bottle.. I pumped the rest out of my breast after I fed her. My doc said she shouldn't be sleeping up to 4 hours and to wake her.

5 hours! wow that is a long time for a newborn.. have you tried waking her and offering the breast in 2 hours? I don't let mine go for 3 hours without eating when I see she is not awake for her 2 hour I pump milk out and wait for the 3rd hour to come around and if she is not responding or if she does within that 3rd hour I feed her the bottle... have you ever gave her a bottle?

Hi there .. seeing how things are going along.. have your tried the pump before feeding her? let me know how it worked ..hope it has been easier.. don't worry as they get a bit older they will be able to handle the force of the milk coming down. Your baby girl is soooooo cute!! what a little muffin!!

LOL...I know me too!! I miss coming on here and seeing what is going on with everyone else. We are great. She is so awesome. Makes me scared to have another one since I have been so blessed with her. She sleeps 5 to 6 hours at a time! What about Sadie? How are things with her and Autumn? Sadie is a beautiful baby but Autumn is going to be an absolute knock out!!

When I was first bf, I was so engorged that I had to pump and dump before her feeding to lessen the force. Are you pumping to store? Or are you pumping for your baby's next feeding when you're not home/at work? Because with excess pumping, you maybe signaling your body to produce more milk which can cause you to have a more forceful flow too.
