Hello, my name is Johnna :) Im 20 years old and i live with my fiance Matthew. We are having our first child on September 24th of this year and we are super excited!!! We have been together 2 years now and loving every moment of it. We met on the internet, (i know kinda dorky) it was mainly a joke, my friends and i were just goofing around and there he was, i fell in love. <3

We found out on May 17, 2008 that we are going to be having a baby boy! <3 We have a name picked out, Nathan Matthew G. And he is my little miracle.

Below is the story of how i found out i was pregnant. Because it just goes to show that through all the hard times in life, miracles really do happen to keep you going.

We werent trying to get pregnant at all. 2 of my grandparents passed away a month apart from each other, (dec 27, and Jan 28) On January 31st of this year ( the same day as my grandmothers memorial service) i was in a bad car accident where the car rolled 5 times and we flew about 50 feet from the road. we had no phones and had to stop a car on the highway to help us. Thank heavens that car was a sheriff... I was in the passenger seat and thats the side that completely caved in, messed up my shoulder and my knee pretty bad. My friend had a gash on her neck from where the glass hit her. We wouldnt be here today if it wasnt for our seatbelts. We went to the emergency room right after and they needed to do x-rays on us. But we had to pee in a little cup before hand. i didnt think anything of it, neither did my friend. Then all the sudden the nurse came in and asked my friend if she could leave the room for a minute. the nurse turned to me and told me im pregnant. I had so many emotions going thru me already, i was scared that the baby was hurt and i broke down. I was told by a doctor when i was 17 that i would never be able to have kids...and i find out after a horrible accident that im going to be a mommy. The nurse reassured me that everything was going to be ok, then i had an ultrasound a few days later, and thats when i saw that little peanut...9 weeks along. The heartbeat was perfect and so was the baby. And here i am now 22 weeks along. its amazing how out of all the horrible things that happen to you a little miracle can still happen to keep you going, words cant describe how lucky i feel today <3 there were 2 people looking over me that day. hey ladies hows it going? Iv been wanting to say hello to a few of you for a while so ill do it all at once coz im lazy and babies are time consuming lol. I hope everythings REALLY good! :D im doing fine AMys a bit under the weather but shes okay shes just clingy its an excuse to get more cuddles i think hehe.

Andy and I are doing really well and hes been offerd a pay rise at work with lots of perks which means we may be abl to sell the cars and get a nicer one to hsare rather than 2 rubbish ones lol coz hes been offered a van from work so well still have two ways of transportation :D
Also were talking to my dad about theposibiulity of him buying a house and us paying the mortgatge on it... only coz we cant afford to get one at the moment with the current climate and all that jazz but my dads so sensable with money he can so we just have to keep our fingers crossed that hell be able to do that for us.; I want amy growing up in a home not a rubbish rented house. But my little house has done me proud its just enfuriating not been able to decorate her bedroom and what not lol

Anyways other than that implodding along nicely start work in feb which now i look back really isnt that far to go and i dont want to go back and leave my baby girl for a moment but ill have to! i may only go back part time tho depending on how much money andys bringing home etc

its so stressful lol

Just a question...can men (father-to-be) get post-pardum depression after the baby is born? I believe they can and I think Jay has it now. He's been really down and out and his mood changed a week after Shayna was born.
