Ahhh, that is great you are so in tuned and bonded with your son. You will make a great mom. Crying is a wonderful thing-don't feel bad for feeling this way. Take care.

I feel pretty good now at 34 weeks, and I start week 35 in 2 days. I think just go out maybe 2-3 weeks before ur due date. I'm on my feet a lot as a nurse too and am working up to the day if possible. I'd rather save the time for after my baby is here.

tmac - Saturday, 19 July
can u tell ur doctor to put u on disability till mat leave ? That's what i did cause i couldn't breath at work at all and had panic attacks. I'm not sure how it works unless u have benefits but if u do look into it. LIE if u have to tell her /him u have had panic attacks at work.

I have had leg pain off and on, mostly my left leg. It hurt to even touch it really. I found that really the only thing that helped was to stretch it a bit and try not to sleep on it. It's just something I had to endure, it will go away eventually. As far as your leg pain if the area that hurts is warm or red it could be something called a dvt that your DR should look at, but as you say there is no difference it is probably not this. Just try to relax and take it easy.

cindermoon - Saturday, 12 July
I had a strange leg pain sorta like that the other day. It felt like pain was radiating from my joints causing my whole leg to hurt. nothing I tried worked so I finally broke down and took some tylenol. It went away and hasn't come back since. I normally stay away from medicine but felt that it was much safer than sawing my leg off at the hip.

armymom - Saturday, 12 July
I get that sometimes.. sometimes its one leg and sometimes its both. It gets really achy.. like I just walked a mall in heels for 6 hours or something. It goes away on its own but comes back every now and then. I know how you feel though. I also get charlie horses REALLY bad at night. It drives me crazy. I dont know how to get rid of it.. its probably just one of those things that come along with being pregnant.. lol. I know its not dehydration cause I drink ALOT of water for other reasons so i really dont know. Well at least you know you not the only one. lol. Sorry I cant help.

kargy - Friday, 4 July
Thanks for leaving a nice post about your weight... I'm so glad I'm not the only one feeling this way. I'm so thrilled to be excited, and I love my bump, but I just feel so cumbersome. My boobs keep getting bigger and more distorted and have stretch marks.. I just look fat all over. The walking has helped me feel better... I need to start being more careful about what I eat.. I think I'm eating too many sugary things.

Thanks for the advice. I've been determined not to take any pain reliever etc. because I just don't want to take any chances with him. I'll have to try the hot water bottle but it is so hot here- today it's 106! I've tried a hot shower with the water hitting in exactly that spot before I went to bed and that did help as well. Congrats on your boy!

gfunk - Thursday, 26 June
Thanks for the reply! You really help to put my mind at ease! i was worried i had a dud boob :) thanks again and good luck with everything

hotpotaaaaato - Tuesday, 24 June
Thanks for the info, as I don't know anyone who HAS tried Implanon... I think I'm now leaning toward Mirena... My doc said it has A LOT less hormones than Implanon anyways. Thanks again for your story, cause I think I would end up having the same things happening.

Megan the lump maker - Monday, 23 June
I opened 5 days a week during my last pregnancy. I just kept doing it until 8 months---BUT--I made it clear that it was unsafe for me to lift alot, or even heavy objects. The manager would help me do it, and sometimes the kitchen staff would help me as well. If it is bothering you, let them know that the doctor told you to stop. They can't say a word, and they will be forced to help you. Good luck--waitressing can be hard on the body and back---take it easy when necessary. It's going to get worse before it gets better!

babymamma88 - Sunday, 22 June
hey hun, I worked at a chilis before and at the begining of my pregnancy. waitressing is hard and guests seem to have no mercy for a pregnant woman. Anyway, just ask for temporary change of schedule or to have a temp. position change to hostess (if you have hostesses). Anyway, Bosses tend to be understanding especially if theyre men. So dont be shy to ask, this is for your own good and for the good of your child.

catamy - Saturday, 21 June
I would say something to your boss because your only going to get bigger and more uncomfortable. He should be more understanding. Also agree with hotpotaaaaato: I went on mat leave too because of the stress of work related expectations. You have to look out for yourself and the baby first. I hope this helped. Good luck.

hotpotaaaaato - Saturday, 21 June
I am a waitress also... I think there is nothing wrong with asking not to open as long as the other shifts work out for you. At my work I carry HEAVY trays and have already been getting pains in my tummy. With my first pregnancy I was required to work up until 36 weeks which made me cry and hurt so much. With this pregnancy I switched doctors and as of june 19th I am already on my maternity leave... if it's too hard see if you can be put on disability right now. I'm so much happier! Hope it all works out for you.

Bangel - Saturday, 21 June
I was a waitress for a few years..trying to imagine having to do that work now while pregnant almost makes me cry thinking of the backpain! I don't think there's nothing wrong with asking if you can stop opening...can't hurt to ask!

pregnantagain21 - Saturday, 7 June
my due date is October 5th also. We had our gender U/S and she said it looks like a girl... but a lil part of the leg was in the way. but everyone still thinks boy.. we will find out when the baby is born. Congrads on you boy!

Peanuts-Mom - Friday, 6 June
CONGRATS HUNNY! Yeah it really is a super special time... so happy for you guys, and congrats on your baby boy! Post some pics, would love to see.

Peanuts-Mom - Thursday, 5 June
Oh I am so excited for you… finding out the sex is such an exciting time! I cant even begin to describe how I felt when I found out for sure that I was having a little man. Honestly it could have possibly been the happiest moment in my life to date. As soon as you get the results, I wanna hear. Plus you must post some updated pics of yourself and your baba, ok? Glad to hear you ok, sorry to hear though that you are still dealing with bouts of morning sickness. Make sure and take good care of yourself. Look forward to hearing your Big news on Friday! GOOOOOOD LUCK

Peanuts-Mom - Tuesday, 3 June
Yeah true! I also felt like it was all growth of the baby too. I go the doc next tuesday, so I will bring up all my concerns then.

So how have you been so far in your pregnancy? Do you know what you are having?

michelersa - Tuesday, 3 June
I am trying. Like I said next week go to Doctor and things will seem more real to me then. Thanks for the advise anymore let me know

Peanuts-Mom - Monday, 2 June
I saw your message on the week 22 wall about the cramping... I have been experiencing that alot also these days. At first I thought they may have been constipation cramps (because been having trouble with that), but I started to take something to help that, that my doc gave me, and i was still having them. What did they say at the hospital about the cramps?

Megan the lump maker - Monday, 2 June
Just wait! I didn't get mine until the end of the 3rd trimester!

michelersa - Monday, 2 June
i am trying so hard. I think when i have my first doc visit on june 11 and know it is real then I think that will power you say (meaning baby) will kick in. I have spotted already so very nervous. What things did you do to keep yourself busy off of cigs.
