18.01.08: 14 weeks and 4 days pregnant, very nervous but very excited. Feeling much better is the last few days than I have done in the past weeks, I have started swimming again twice a week and I will start walking around my village as soon as the weather gets better. Not feeling so great tonight, have bad lower back pain and very bad indigestion. I know it is early but I am sure I have felt something very low in my tummy, I guess it may be wind but it does feel a little different. Have my first appointment with midwife on 29th January, I am hoping she will be able to find the heartbeat as I have a slightly tilted womb and have read some comments that it is harder to find when this is the case.

29.01.08: Had my 16 week check up today with midwife, she made me feel so much better about everything. She felt my tummy and said it was growing beautifully, and that it was as big as she would expect it to be and then came the best bit... As soon as she put the doppler on my tummy I heard my baby's heartbeat for the first time, it was great. I only wish Stuart could have been there to hear it to. Cant wait for my 20 week scan.

26.02.08: Its a girl! or so the sonographer thinks anyway. He said he couldnt see any boy bits so he is quite sure I am having a baby girl, I am so excited. We have decided to name her Freya Jane Faith Crawford. Everything else is perfect, measurements etc. We have decided to have a 4d scan, that is booked for 8th April.

05.05.08: 30 weeks now, a lot of people are saying i look huge, i dont think so myself i think it depends on what i am wearing. I am very much enjoying my pregnancy although i have a cold at the moment which is making me feel a little low.

24.05.08: Will be 33 weeks on Monday and feeling Freya all the time now. Have been feeling really grotty so went to see GP, turns out my iron level has fallen to 10.3. I have been given tablets and my mum has promised to keep me fed with lots of green veg - good ole mum. I went to the hospital last Wednesday to meet with a midwife to discuss my notes from previous pregnancy as I have been feeling a little anxious this time, she was so lovely and went through everything that happened to me during pregnancy and labour, it was lovely to remember that time and it has made me feel a lot happier about my pending labour, actually quite excited now cant wait to meet my new little bundle.
