I better update this page since i missed my last update.

Had an ultrasound and doctors appt. today. Baby a is 4 lbs 2 oz and baby b is 3 lbs 5 ozs. Lots of movement. My belly makes fun shapes a couple times a day as the boys strech out and poke out a little bit. Baby a has lots of extra fluyid around him. I'm already at high risk for preterm labour because of twins but the extra fluid adds to the risk. My doctor gave me an injection of stuff (can't remember what is called) but its to help the babies lungs and other things mature a little quicker just in case they come early they will be a little bit more prepared and there is no adverse effects if babies wait and come when they are suppose to.

Possible reasons for the extra fluid: (1) No explaination at all, it just happened - i'm hopeing for this one, (2) My diabetes glucose test came back negative, but I am on the high end of normal, so going to be screened again (3 hour test), (3) baby is not swallowing properly and the fluid is being cycled the way it should be. and finally (4) Twin-to-Twin transfusion Syndrome - but the doctor says this doesn't fit the picture because both boys are growing healthy and in fact they are both above average in weight and both have been growing consitantly.

So now the doctor will be watching me much more closely. I go back already on friday (which she doesn't need to see me that soon but she doesn't want to wait until next week either). Maybe my bi-weekly appointments will turn into weekly.

I am trying my best not to let this bother me, as i know worrying about it doesn't help anything. i will just take all the precautions that I can. I am going to pack my hospital bag, wrap up things at work ASAP, and follow my doctors instructions. Its all up to the Creator and these babies now. I will hope for the best. Plus, I know my mom and daddy Kevin are freaking out (they try to hide it from me) so i'll let them do the worrying.

One last update I have gain 23 lbs in total. Not bad eh!!!

Went for yet another ultrasound yesturday. Babies still gorwing awsomly...baby a is 2.2 lbs and baby be is 1.9 lbs. I am huger than ever. Finding everything more difficult to do. Daddy kevin finally felt them kick a couple nights ago, and has been feeling them kick every night since....he just loves it. He likes it better if I lay there quitely or sleeping so he can have some alone time with his boys.

Doctors a little concerned about the amount of baby and fluid I am carrying. But not overly because my cervix is still nice an long. But my fluid is on the high end and I have to watch for preterm labour. So, I'm hopeing a praying that they are happy where they are and won't trying to come out to early. I personally think they are quite happy where they are.

During my ultrasounds baby b is usually the bad one he moves about so much and really makes it hard for the tech to get everything they need. But yesturday baby a was the one acting up. It starts already....what is motherhood gonna bring me...yikes!!!

I'm gonna make this short and sweet. I had another ultrasound today. Both boys growing beautifully each weighing in at 1.5 lbs. I have only gained 7 lbs, so I'm all babies...lol. I've been really sick this week. I'm hoping for that to pass soon. I hate puking.

I had other ultrasound yesturday and was relived to see evrything is still good! Both boys are growing as they should be. They aren't sharing blood flow. Everything is perfect. They are moving around a lot and like to shake their junk at the ultrasound tech....lol. I don't normally get to watch the exam but she had the screen turned so I could. I got to see soo much. little feets and hands, and lips, and noses, everything percisous little part...sooo cute. I just love than. Oh and one yawned (almost made me cry) and one looked like it was trying to play leap frog qwith his brother....I just loved watching everything. I can't wait!!!

Well, I did write quite a lenghty update after my last ultrasound but something happened and it didn't save and it frustrated me. So I had to let me anger go away before i came back to try again....lol

ANYWAYS>>>>>my last ultrasound: we found out we are having BOYS!!! How exciting! Kevin is quite proud of himself (apparently it takes a realy man to make little men....lol...whatever...the twins are on my side of the family....lmao) It's so nice to know that I can call them hims, and guys, and whatever else i cll my little boys instead of little things...lol.

Been feeling light little kicks the last couple of weeks. Thats been very exciting....Auntie Amber (my first and first time Auntie) has felt it to. She got all teary eyed it was soo precious. Now when i around her i can't get her away from my belly...lol. But thats ok she loves her nephews and likes to hang out with them. We watched movies with her on the weekend and she spent half the time with her face on my belly listening to them and her hand on either side (so she can cover as much surface area as possible) she got some goood kicks to the jaw.

I have to go for ultrasounds every 2 weeks and to the doctors. we need to watch them closely. They are not attached to the placenta as they should be so we need to watch them and make sure they are getting enough nutrients and growing as they should....but so far so good.

I will mostly likely have a planned c-section. I wanted a birth that was as natural as possible but one of their cords is stressed and i don't want to put my babies at risk. So if a c-section is my best bet than soo be it.

SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!

Today is the first day of spring...as excited as I am , I fear the hot hot summer sun. But i have my next Ultrasound appointment on March 28. (Only 7 days away) woo hoo. Hopefully, they won't be too shy and let us know what they are. i just love babies sooooo much. I'm always thinking about them and rubbing my belly. Sometimes I think I feel them kicking on the outside. I can certainly feel them on the inside. Daddy likes to play hide-a-seek with them. He holds a flashlight on my belly, I tell him when I feel them move. Then he tries to find the other one....its really cute. (except for when i wanna sleep). I wanna start baby shopping already...but I'm gonna wait a little bit.

Kevin has started reading books to the babies before bed. He does such an awesome job!! Every character has it own voice (even the narrator). He is really an awesome daddy....and he doesn't even realize it. He can't wait to get them more books and a little book self.

I love him soooo much. I am sooo greatful to have him with me on this journey!!

I had my first appointment on Feb 12, with my midwife. I got to hear the little heart beat of my baby and evrything sounded beautiful and perfect. So that night Kevin and I took turns making phone calls to family and friends letting them know about our little bundle on the way. Everyone was super excited. But, little did we know this was just the beginning of the exciting news to come. I had a dateing ultrasound on that Friday and would you believe it... TWINS!!!!! how exciting!!!! Both kevin and I were in complete shock in that room as we watching both our little babies on the screen move around. We had the joy of telling everyone again about the extra little package inside me. Everyone was overjoyed. this news especially exciting for the first time grandparents my mom and kevins dad.

Kevin and I can't wait to meet our little babies and are enjoying the pregnancy. I enjoy feeling all the little movements and can't wait until kevin can feel them too. We both love these little with everything we are. I thank the creator for blessing us so much. We must have done something right... :)

Hello!!!

My partner Kevin and I are expect our first child...We are super excited about it. We have been together 2.5 years. Last year we were expecting but unfortunately miscarried. I know in my heart this time it will happen. Kevin is deathly afraid of having a girl...although I know if it were a girl she would be daddy's little girl forever and for always. At this point we have not told anyone (11 weeks - fetal age). We are waiting until we make it through the first Trimester and find out everything is ok! I know we will have some very happy grandparents out there. My mom and his dad have yet to be a grandparent...so this will be their first.
