Hi, my name is Jessica and i'm 20 years old. This is my first pregnancy and my boyfriend and I of 6 years are really excited about it. I'm 5'1 1/2 and my pre pregnancy weight was 115lbs. It's a little scary since this is my first and me being so young, but i feel that it will be easy since i've been around kids a lot. We found out October 22nd that were having a baby BOY! His name is going to be Brody David! He's due on March 14th but i can almost promise that he will be born in february! (hopefully). Also, i can't wait till i pop this little guy out b/c I feel so much bigger than other mommy-2-be's on here!

30 weeks!!!! Yesss im big from starting out at 115 lbs and being 5'1 1/2.......41 inches around!

32 wks 2 days

34 weeks 3 days

36 weeks and a 7 lb baby already! and swelling up like a balloon! about 45 inches around...

Update: 1/7/08

So, i went in for a check up this morning and said that i failed my 3 hour glucose test and that i have gestinal diabetes :( Also, the doctor went to measure my belly haha and guess how much i'm measuring @ 30 weeks??? She measured me to be 37 weeks!!! So, i have to go for another ultrasound and see why this is happening. She said that i might just have so much amnotic fluid, or it might be a big baby for having diabetes. Or maybe a little bit of both! But yeahh, i couldn't believe it! I told everyone that my stomach was huger than most people's on here... But we'll see on the next ultrasound which is january 15th. But they might have to induce mee or my baby can just come early!! I'm thinking mid february when im "due" march 14th. But the baby's head is all the wayyy down which is good!

1/9/08

So, when i came home from school last night and put my feet up and noticed that my feet were swollen. Also, this morning my hands were a little puffy. I've been having headaches for the past week and been a little dizzy and naussiated. But 2 days ago i had an appointment and my urine seemed fine and my blood pressure soo after school today im going to like kmart or something and check my blood pressure again... Hope it's ok!

1/14/08

So, i went for my ultrasound today and everything looks great!!!! Brody is measuring 4.5 pounds and everything is fine!!! Just hopefully i last all the way till 40 weeks b/c i don't want to be pushing out a 9lb baby... lol

1/18/08

So, today i went to the hospital to get checked out again. I had 19 braxton hicks in 1 hour which scared me! My cervix is closed thank god and everything looks ok and just said to drink more water. They just said to watch out for the strong contractions that are 5 min or less apart!

2/04/08

Went for a check up today. I got a non stress test to measure contractions, heartbeat, and fetal movements. Everything looked ok! But since the GD, i go for an ultrasound everyweek to measure his growth hehe which is good bc i love having ultrasounds and now im going everyweek to for the non stress test and the reg. check ups! But everything looks pretty good and my cervic is still closed!!

Update!! 2/12/08 35 1/2 weeks

So, went for my ultrasound todayyy.... One good thing is that my baby has hair! But the bad thing is he already weighs 7lbs :x yikes!!!! So their going to give me an amnio on feb. 22nd @ 1 to see if his lungs are ok and if so im going to pop my little guy out, in prob 2 weeks :) He's already practicing breathing which is good. And went for a another NST which i go for 2x's a week and i was having a few contrations but didnt hurt. Also, im scared that the doc said that the high blood sugar has a risk so still born and im really scared :( soooo def not eat anything bad or dont cheat by eating any sugar. So now i have to take my insulin shots 4xs a dayyy.... Pray that every thing will be ok :( and only a month ago my baby weighed 4.5lbs and already 7 wowww lol buttt not good bc of my sugar!!!

2/15/08 36 weeks

So, found out that i have strep B! :( ughhh what else can go wrong.. and they also upped my dose on insulin. Still ready to go but can't wait till next week till i find out if my little man's lungs are developed!!!!!

So, me and my boyfriend had sex later tonight and of course i woke up in the middle of the night to go pee and what do u knowww... i htink my mucus plug fell out. It was like snot lol with one side was a little bit light pink and the other side was a grayish color. i at least think this was it! lol but it was mostly clear too so i dunnooo lol
