Neil and I are thrilled to be expecting! It has been tough at times, getting pregnant isn't as easy as some people make it look :).

God willing all will be well and we'll have a fantastic christmas as a family!! Good luck to everyone who is expecting their own bundle of joy :)

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

im doing good. exhausted. I have overdone it the last couple of days. and the only reason is I am ""nesting"" I feel the NEED to clean. it hurts and its not making things any better but I just dont complain to Ray that anything hurts altho he can tell LOL.. Today I am taking it easy Ray took the kids to an annual carnival that we attend every October but I cldnt go. which is ok.. :o) the kdis will have a blast..

Liz3 - Friday, 3 October
How cute are you?!?!?! I like your new picture. How adorable!!!

Liz3 - Monday, 29 September
LOL How sweet... Ray and I had an agreement that I wld name this baby. He named our son after him so our son is Ray Griggs 3rd and we call him Trey. Our oldest daughter we named her Bailey Noel together. So he said that since he named our son that no matter if this was a girl or boy I could name her on my own. So I have been coming up with names but he doesnt like some of them (LOL) go figure... My heritage is German/Irish and I wanted to go that route but Griggs is English and some of the names I like just dont go with Griggs LOL... SO right now I think I have narrowed it down to Charlie or Hollie for a girl. I really like Charlie the best tho.. I just need a middle name LOL

Liz3 - Sunday, 28 September
Glad to hear you are ok! sorry you have to use a personal day just to get some relief!! We know we are having a girl but the names are so difficult. We still arent set on one. We like so many but then our older children want to help us name her but we cant all agree on a name LOL :o) I guess there are worse things!!

Liz3 - Friday, 26 September
Hi Jude! I havent seen you around much lately! I hope you are still well. Tell your mom and Neil Hello from South Carolina! I hope you are still feeling good. I saw a couple days ago that they are working you many days without a break. I hope you were able to work that out! I am feeling ok. I went to the hospital on Tuesday bcuz i hwas having contractions and a stabbing pain. It wasnt labor this time. It was a UTI so I was happy about that. I rather have a Urinary Trac infection than be in labor this early. I still havent picked out a name for the baby. Ray and I agree on so many but then our 2 other children dont like them.. Go figure hahaha... I hope to hear from you soon!!

Hello there,

I am sorry to hear that work is being less than considerate. I think sometimes people do need reminding - if they can't be amenable, then I guess its the human resource office!!! I certainly couldn't do those hours, my feet kill after a day at work. Luckily I am self employed, so my worst enemy is myself and I only have myself to blame if I feel I am doing too much. I am so glad that you are feeling little kicks now its a really reassuring feeling. I have to get my rhesus jab next Friday oh joy!

Any how me dear, try not to grind into the ground before maternity leave - you will need energy for the labour and little one, so in that respect when you are ready to go on leave I would do it - so that you can be in good shape for whats ahead. I was glad to read you are doing yoga. Ive been a bit bad on that score, and its something I used to do regulary anyhow±

Take care, keep me posted. Love Flora

lol us nurses are the worse patinets, all we do is winge winge winge. the girls I work with are quite good, however we are getting alot of inexperience staff coming in atm, and they have no brains, it is driving me crazy, I am sick of picking up the slack. Since i got home today at 1pm, i sat on the couch, then i decided to have a bath, then sit back on the couch, then cook some tea, and now i am back on the couch. Ready to go to bed soon lol. anyway i feel better now that i have had my winge. I hope you are feeling better than I am lol. Take care. and lots of energy sent your way

JUDE!!!!! How was holiday??? I was wondering about you yesterday thinking that it had been a week and I wanted to hear all about your trip!! I am so glad Neil can feel baby boo bouncing. that is so exciting! Tell Mum hello and that I hope she is well! My MRI came back normal which is good and bad. Its good because that means that I wont have any long term effects from this! The bad news is that it means restricted bedrest because all activities contribute to the pain. however they did give me some pain meds that help and are 100% safe for my lil bean .... So tell all about your trip!! I am glad to hear from you!

flora - Tuesday, 16 September
Hi there. Sounds like you had a fab holiday. Like you I am getting some of the stuff via ebay - is the pram one of those traditional silvercross or one of the modern ones? My feet are a bit better now I am reverting back to my superfeet insoles and sleep is a bit better since I cleared all the pregancy books away from my bed!!! I am looking forward to maternity leave - I am finishing at the begining of November - I am really glad I went from self employed to Limited Company last year because it means my company can pay me my own maternity pay!! Bit woolly and smooxy today so after my homevisit I will be having an easy day me thinks - keep well. Hope the effects of the holiday last you another 9 weeks! Love Flora

flora - Sunday, 14 September
Hi Jude, how are you doing on the feet and sleep front. Hope things are going well for you.FloraX

Liz3 - Saturday, 6 September
Hi! I am feeling okay. Not better, but okay. I had my MRI yesterday and I will get the results next week. I hope its something that they can fix lol.... How are you and your lil bean doing? Mom? DH? everyone lol... :o)

Hi!!
Don't worry about the deleted message ;)
About the milkshake:
I've found out that if I mix starchy food with too many sugars, my heartburn turns to be worse... so, the milkshake... I'm just going to take it with little sugar and more milk than bananas... Let's see what happens.
I hope you're doing fine,
Monica

Hi jude,

I am glad you had your scan. It looks like the babe is going to be a hitchhiker. Mine was o.k so far. I took it on a real hike yesterday. 15miles robin hoods bay to scarborough. It took all day cause I was so slow, but glad to have done it. Its been ages since I have been for a walk. Are you feeling little movements now? I am getting excited now, finally!!

Love Flora

Hey I justed wanted to tell you that a girl in my office is pregnant and is due October 1. Well throughout her entire pregnancy her baby girl had fluid in her kidney as well. 2 weeks ago when they went for a check-up, it was completely gone...so sometimes things rectify themselves. :)

Thanks for the coupon tip! :)

Hello, great tip for making own clothes last longer.

Get a hair bobble/band. One with alot of pull. put it through the button hole of trousers and skirts. Then put both ends over button -- Voila - you have another two inches on your trousers!

Its revolutionised my wardrobe! Love Flora

I am only in week 18 but the Dr. told me that since my uterus is retroverted and my placenta is anterior (in front of baby) I will not feel baby until maybe even 23 weeks or so. He said especially since my placenta is anterior that when baby kicks it is absorbed like she is kicking a pillow so I cannot feel it cause it is like a shock absorber. Just thought you might want to ask where your placenta is located and maybe if your uterus is retroverted.

Hi Jude, if you feel the odd flutter/bubble , pang hat goes as soon as you feel it, thats a foetal movement. I only started feeling it this week end. The rest of the time must have been my uterus growth or somit. I feel this sensation, more after eating. Iguess the blood sugar gets the movt going. Love Flora

najinski - Wednesday, 30 July
Thanks Jude-v. I find it all very complex! x

cyndig - Tuesday, 22 July
hello there, feeling very well thank you! how about yourself? we have actually come to 2 names so far:
Boy - Carmello Calloway (Calloway is my husbands name)
Girl - Carlie (still no middle name...)

flora - Tuesday, 22 July
Hi, no Im still clueless. Mae is a lovely name. Naughty Amelia Mae! Flora

sara-in-oregon - Monday, 21 July
Mae is nice... No, we haven't thought of names yet... I'm terrible at that... even as a kid I could never think of names for my stuffed animals. I'm waiting until our next ultrasound on the 29th. Hopefully we can find out the sex of the baby then and then we only have half as many names to pick though. Other than the naming difficulty things are going well here. Best of luck to you.

sara-in-oregon - Saturday, 19 July
I also think something short would go well with Amelia. Ann perhaps? All depends on if you like alliteration or not. Good luck!

petuniabeth - Saturday, 19 July
i like amelia kate. if i have a girl, her name will be emma kate!! my edd is dec 20th!
