Tuesday, 17 November Hi Julie! Thansks for your message ;-) Well, I also have a chart and up until 26 weeks I was right on target for gaining only 30 lbs, which is my goal. Then the first week in Nov I jumped 4 lbs!!! So depressing, that was my allowance for the entire month! But since then I haven't gained any more, and I am hoping to hold steady until the end of the month, even with Thanksgiving. I exercise 5-7 days a week. I live near a great park, so I often walk for an hour or an hour and a half, and then I have four prenatal videos that I do each week -- pilates, yoga, and two fitness videos. I also see a prenatal trainer once a month, but I haven't been too good about doing the workout she gave me in between sessions. Anyway, it's pretty much the same as what's in all my videos!! I don't write down what I eat, but I mentally keep track of calories. I eat about 1800- 2200 a day, depending on how hungry I am or how much I work out. It's weird because I took a resting metabolic rate test when I was 6 weeks pregnant, and it said I burn 2400 calories a day just existing, so that's what I would have to eat to maintain my weight. I eat less than that and I gain weight -- 22lbs so far! So I don't know, I guess the math just doesn't add up when you're pregnant!! So if I gain 4 more in Dec and 4 more in Jan that will be perfect for me. All of my girlfirends gained 40- 50lbs so if I come in at 30, it will be the least of anyone I know!! What's your goal, 25?
