My husband and I have one boy and just found out we are pregnant! We tried for one month and got pregnant! We are really wishing for a lttle girl! This maybe my last chance for a daughter (my husband only wants 2 children but is kinda open to maybe having three but I am sure it will take some begging!) I can't wait until I hear the heartbeat and to see the baby on the ultrasound!

Jan 15th- I feel very tired and my bbs are very tender I have felt some slight m/s but not too much! I only have one worry, I have some abdomin pain but I'm thinking it is gas! lol!

Jan 25th- So this week m/s has kicked in hard core! I can't eat I get sick! If I don't eat I get sick! I have barely eaten anything its aweful! I can't wait until this part is over! The bbs are more sore than ever! I'm miserable! My poor husband, I just cry to him all day! I am so tired all day! I just want the first trimester over!!

Feb 5th- Went to the docs yesterday and she gave me a pill to get rid of m/s! It works! I love it!! I was very dehydrated so I needed something to keep the food in!

Madame Zaritska, our resident clairvoyant, wants to help you prepare for the arrival of your child. Here she does her best to predict certain aspects of your labor and birth experience.

What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be sunny. Your baby will arrive in the early evening.

After a labor lasting approximately 8 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 6 ounces, and will be 22 inches long. This child will have blue eyes and some very fine hair.

But there is more. It is perfectly healthy and normal to want to look good, even during these interesting months! I sense you feel a little reluctant. Well, you're not being silly or shallow -- you're taking care of yourself. And I am happy that you are. Here is some fashionable advice for you to peruse at this special time.

April 8th- So Ive been very tired very sleepy and I'm in a lot of pain! I have sciatic pain. So I have not been a happy camper!! I have my u/s on the 15th so we will find out what we are having! I have had such a pain in the ass time with this pregnancy so I have decided this is it for me . All I can say is please be a girl!!

April 11th- The nurse just called and the blood test for downs was neg. Which I wasnt too worried about because Im low risk but ya never now what could happen ! I'm just happy!

Jealousy is completely normal. I wouldn't worry yourself too much over it though. If he is excited about the baby he will stay excited about the baby, but yes there will be times of jealousy. My son had just turned 3 yrs old when I had my daughter. He was super excited and stayed that way, except for times. When he started acting up, then my husband who was not as busy as me would go play with him or do something with him and he would be fine. He was very spoiled for 3 yrs as well. He was the youngest grandson of my parents by like 12 yrs and the first grandchild for my husbands parents. Now we are having our third. My son is now five and my daughter is two. My son, like your is excited. I am really not worried at all about jealousy with him, but my two year old daughter is going to be psycho. She is a good little girl and loves babys, but if my older son sit on my lap she pitches a horrible fit and hits him. When I tell her there is a baby in my tummy, she hits my tummy. She will definately have issues. I believe I will have to really watch her and NEVER leave her alone with her new brother. :-) Good luck!

I called them yesterday and still no results. They said they would call me either way when the results came in. Sigh!!!

Stacemingas - Wednesday, 18 June

If I drink any more water I will explode. I think since about week 23 I've been drinking 3 times the recommended amount. :X I drink at least 90oz a day if not more. Hehe.. so water intake is definitely not the problem. I am literally drinking water from the time I get up until I go to bed. I think my body is not used to the extra weight because I started out fairly small and not used to the rapid weight gain. I am trying the bananas thing someone suggested... we'll see what happens!

It was ok I guess. The drink was awful since the glucose in it was 100mg instead of 50mg like the first one. It was so sweet and I was so hungry from fasting and not eating breakfast that I thought I was going to puke it all up at first. But I didn't thank goodness. The blood-drawing went ok too. The technician where I go is really good - he is the only one who has never hurt me when putting the needle in. He used the same arm for all 4 drawings because it was a good, strong vein. I must say the 4th one hurt a bit!! But I survived! I am thinking I will get my results on Monday or Tuesday. I am keeping my fingers crossed! You didn't get your results yet, did you?

Stacemingas - Wednesday, 11 June
Thursday. Blah!

Stacemingas - Wednesday, 11 June
Well that is good to know!
When is your test??

Stacemingas - Tuesday, 10 June
Me either!! I hate needles anyway! I was so proud of myself the other day for getting through the one the other day! Now there will be FOUR!! Oh well...I've thought about it and I am just staying calm and hoping for the best. I definitely don't want diabetes, but more than anything, I don't want to have a C-Section! This is my one and only baby and I just want to have her the old fashioned way!!!

babygreen1 - Tuesday, 10 June
I just did that glucose 3 hr test yesterday too. It wasn't so bad. How'd yours go?

bubsnum2 - Tuesday, 10 June

fudgeethewhale - Monday, 9 June

Stacemingas - Monday, 9 June

mommy2bmay08 - Monday, 9 June
Luckily mine sleep most of the night - LOL! We are having identical twin GIRLS!! WOOHOO!

mommy2bmay08 - Saturday, 7 June
Hey, your belly will likely even out soon enough. I measured big with my son one month but by the next month i was right on track and it is coomon. At least you are not like me with twins at 26 weeks measuring 35.5 - LOL!! I'm HUGE!

mbecker - Friday, 6 June
Hi! I am in the same boat as you, except that I am measuring 5 weeks ahead of schedule. My dr. said there is nothing to worry about. They did an ultrasound and my son is right on target for his due date. I am short and there is just not anywhere for baby to go except for out! :-) Michelle

brandilla - Friday, 6 June
No problem! I freaked out too at first lol I thought I was having a monstrous baby. So, my doctor explained it all to me :)

brandilla - Friday, 6 June
All it really means is.... your bellly is measuring bigger.. lol. Nothing more, at this point. I've measured ahead my entire pregnancy (at 31 weeks was 6 weeks ahead!) and my little guy is right around 5lbs where he's supposed to be. Some things that influence your tummy size are his position, the amount of amniotic fluid, he could've had a growth spurt and maybe your tummy will catch up in the following weeks, or your baby could be lager. In my case, my guy is breech and I have a ton of fluid, making me huge, but he's normal and healthy :) Hope that helps!
