has anyone started baby on cereal yet? and if so, how much and when? do n e of you have advice on how to get baby to sleep longer intervals without waking hungry? madisyn wakes up still at least once, if not twice, to eat at night. she's 11 weeks this thursday. is it coming? am i just impatient?

i dkno. my husband says weeks matter more than dates....so even though madisyn will not be three months until the 19th, he swears that next week on thursday when she's twelve weeks she'll be 3 months. i think it depends on date.....?

He is 4 months on May 21st. I swear they do the whole pregnancy in weeks thing just to confuse us even more once the baby is born and we start tracking their age in months! What's with that anyway? LOL

I consider it the day of birth thing so I'd say the 21st cuase of the whole extra days in the month thing.
It's confusing because they use 4 wks for the pregnancies for months I don't think they know what they are talking about half the time!

I'm having the same issue. Mine will be 8 weeks old tomorrow (corrected age)...but on the 15th will be 2 months corrected age..and don't even get me started on her actual birthdate which is on the 17th of the month!

I say you go by the date...not the weeks. There are more than 4 weeks in a month. Just like our birthdays....we celebrate them on the day we were born...not on the week we were born.

I won't call my baby 4 months old until the 14th. She was born on 5/14/08. She also is 16 weeks. So confusing I know.

Evie was born on the 8th so I always wait till the 8th, but other mommies do it by week. So it's up to you, I just look at it as I would be in month 12 for forever waiting for her actual b-day to arrrive if I went by week!
