Guess I should count my blessings...so far (knock on wood), Jordan is starting to sleep very well through the night...too well, sometimes. I am starting to have to set my alarm to get her up for feedings. We have her in our room, in a bassinet next to me, and I will let her fall asleep with my hand on her chest (that way she can still smell me and get a sense of warmth and comfort from my hand.) I don't know what to tell you about Christopher...every baby is different, but have you tried gently bumping his bottom to lull him to sleep? It worked great for a lot of my nephews.

Wow that's pretty good knowing your guy had a slower start on weight. Carter will be 11 weeks Thursday. He weighed 8 pds. 13oz at birth and now weighs 13pds 4oz. he's 24in long. He's really a good baby and only crys when he's hungry, he's been rolling on his side and one day rolled on his tummy but he just couldn't get his arm out from him.

Thank you for the comment on my lil boy. No last night , he took his bottle fell asleep at 8:30p.m. and didn't wake up until 5:30 this morning, this is the longest he has sleep . I am feeding him more we went from 5 1/2 oz to 6 1/2-7 1/2 oz. So I don't know if that what did it or not. Is it normal? lol

I just seen that you have 5 boys, omy!! So you had a massage therapist come show you?! wow! Well hopefully the new dr can give you some better advice. Maybe if you switch formula? Hopefully my son doesn;t get any more constipated.

I'm sorry your baby is constipated too! My son actually went yesterday evening.. so he is going every other day.. but really pushing and grunting when he goes. Everytime I see him straining I gently put my hand under his lower back and while he is pushing I do a firm massage (on one side of his lower back) and its worked, surprisingly!! and sometimes I massage the side of his tummy when he is pushing. It's worth a shot!

Yeah, he ofcourse, was up at around 1 a.m and about every hour and a half thereafter. It was daddy's night and I felt so bad I would get up with him. Now he is sleeping and I am up!! I agree, I don't sleep well at all, I think I stay up until 2-3 am just to watch him breathe. It's gonna be a long year. =)

What did the Dr say when you told him that the stimulating did not work? Hmm well doctors seem to not be worried about things lik ethat. It had been a few days since my baby went and the doctor was like oh that is normal. How much water did you give him? Has anyone on the boards come up with anything new? Have you tried boards from different months? Someone has to have come into the same type of issue I am thinking...

I would stop giving him cereal. It causes constipation in babies this young. My doctor said gerber apple prune juice is not as good as real prune juice. Mix it with water and give it to him daily. I will be really surprised if this does not fix his problem!
