9 MAY Hi! I'm 19 weeks pregnant! We feel very blessed and thank God every day for this long awaited baby. The last 3 years haven't been easy, I lost 2 babies, one at 8 weeks, and another at 37 weeks. It was a girl, a week before my cesarian date. We were devastated, you wait for so long and then it's just taken away from you within a second. We still don't know what and why it happend but believe God had a reason for it. I fell pregnant quicly afterwords and are now very excited and positive that all will go well this time. I'm going for my next scan on the 18th, will hopefully find out the sex! Can't wait. My pregnancy has been good, no morning sickness, just some headaces, constipation, heartburn, all the normal. Would love to hear from other people that's been through the same thing! soooo excited!!!!

9 MAY Me at 19 weeks. I am told that I'm very small? What do you think? I was also very small with my last pregnancy? I know I should be happy, but with my history, I think it's normal to worry! I'm doing very well, visiting my hubby in Gabon (West Africa)! He is working here, I used to stay with him but dr. told me to be in SA for every check up! Not nice being away from him, but nothing we can do about that! Doing it for our little angel! My pregnancy are going well, just battling with heartburn!!! Going back to SA on 16th, will have my scan on Friday the 18th! Very excited about that! Just pray that all are well, but I trust that all will be fine, just leaving my pregnancy and baby in God's hands!!! Good luck to all your mommies

14 MAY I am 20 weeks today, felt the baby move a lot yesterday. I will be going back to South Africa on wednesday after visiting my hubby in Gabon (Africa). Will be very sad to leave but will see him again 6 June. Hard to be apart during the pregnancy but have to be close to my dr. due to past. I have been feeling good, just battling with heartburn and to sleep. I think it's all the excitement, now that baby are moving so much it's more of a reality, and I also look pregnant at last!!! The dr told me with the last scan that my placenta are low, so hoping that it would have moved up, or won't cause any problems. Can't wait to see the dr on friday and to c our little baby!!!

30 MAY Hi, I have not been feeling gr8 emotionally the last 2 days, everything taking it's toll, building our house (not a woman's job), all the planning and decision's are driving me nuts, hubby not being with me... horrible. Miss him so much. He is comming down next week thursday, can't wait. Saw the dr 2 wks ago, was very happy, baby's weight was 345g, was so gr8 to see him/her, finding out in two weeks when Andre's with, can't wait. We have to keep good track of baby's growth this time. I have gained a lot more weight than last time, 7kgs now... the fact that I'm not playing gholf, doing much and also not smoking has been hard. Not too worried, can always lose it afterwords, it will be worth it. Just can't wait to have this baby, have basically been pregnant for 17 months now... not easy. Getting hard now, I guess I have tried so hard to stay positive and strong? I'm sure I will feel better again, just these hormones... 11 JUNE 24 weeks: What a gr8 week! We found out we are having a girl again, her weight is 600g, dr very happy with everything. I'm getting bigger by the day, can not imagine what I will look like in 3 months. Still battling with heartburn, but I guess that's part of the paccage. We both are very happy to be together, and that all are well. It's hubby's birthday tommorrow, so nice to have him here. It's freezing cold here, nice to have hubby here to keep me warm! Baby's kicking a lot, nice for him to feel her every now and then, every morning my tummy gets a few kisses and he talks to her. So amazing!!! I have also started to get Braxton Hicks, weird feeling but good to know it's normal. Can't wait to see our little girl again in 4 weeks. Hope everybodys pregnancy are going gr8!!!! Till next time.

27 June

I am 26 and a half weeks, and doing great! Our little girl are so busy, letting mommy know that she's ok every now and then. Ate a slab chocolate on saturday and she kicked non stop for 3 hours, felt bad, think I gave her a sugar overdose... Hubby was here, was great to spend time with him. Will only see him again in 5 weeks, hope time will fly. We had snow last night which only happens once every few years, so pretty. I'm doing fine, getting bigger by the day, bough a few dresses for our little girl, just can't resist the shops. Hope everybody are doing great!

4 APRIL This is me at 27 weeks. I'm definitaley showing now! he he Much bigger than last time. I'm down in bed with a horrible cold, hope it will go away fast, not nice, can't take anything and already uncomfortable as it is. But I guess I have been lucky so far as this is my first bug. Going to see the dr again next week wednesday, can't wait to see how much our little girl has grown. I will aslo book my bed then and get my caserian date... exciting!!! She is moving a lot which is great. Love every little kick and turn. Miss hubby already, I will only see him again in 4 weeks... wish there was another way around this. Not to long still then the 3 of us will be together! We are both so excited and so thankfull that we have come this far and that all are well. Hope all you pregnant mommies are doing well, will give you a update again next week. Take care x

27 weeks

13 July: 29 weeks... How exciting, went to see my dr again on wednesday, we are so happy with little baby girl, she's already weighing 1.5kg, (think she is going to take after her daddy) which is great as previous baby weighed only 1.8 at 37 weeks. Think she is very healthy and that everything is going to be fine this time. I am getting a bit tired of being pregnant, can not wait to have it over and done with, not nice to feel this way, it is such a mirracle and I think I should enjoy every minute of being pregnant... just feels like I have been pregnant for ages, since last year January. I have had this horrible cold for 2 weeks now, I do feel a bit better but not a 100% yet. Already battling with sleep, the house that we are building is getting to me, as I have to make all the major decisions myself. Not easy... But I'm happy, getting bigger by the day, still have heartburn, but verry happy and already so in love with my little girl. Hope everybody is doing fine...

29 Aug Wednesday

I can not believe I am almost 36 weeks. Me and baby are doing very well, she weighs about 2.7kg, very healthy and everything looking fine. The dr plan on doing the cesarean on the 17th. Can't wait. Andre's comming down on the 12th, so hope baby behaves and stays put untill her daddy arrives. We are both so excited for this little miracle to arrive. I had my baby shower last Saturday, was loveley. Going to see the dr again tomorrow, he's been keeping a close eye on me for the last month. I'm very big this time, uncomforable at night, to turn around is such a mission, and also going to the loo 4 times at night doesn't help. Can not stand for long periods any more, but did find very good heartburn pills, gr8 cause I had heartburn constantley. Hope all pregnant mommies are doing well.
