OK So my name is Jaymee I am 24 years old and this is our first baby!!! I am married for 9 months today but i have been dating Jeffery for almost 5 years now.
Lets see I def go back and forth between being super happy and super scared but that should be normal right?? lol
I have been having trouble finding a DR i like i have an appt. tomarrow with a Dr that delivered Jefferys cousin baby back in Sept so hopefully this one will go better
Besides that i am just looking for friends in the same boat as me as most of my friends don't have children well i guess i will post more later
MARCH 26
Yesterday was great!! We went to the Dr. oru little guy is 2 pounds!! so big he is getting some chunk on his bones so that is good. My glucose was 93 so yay i don't have to do another glucose test and i got my first Rhogam shot and it wasnt bad at all the nurse tricked me and slapped my but cheek as she stuck the needle in so i didn't even feel it lol The tech put the ultrasound in 3d for a second and we could see the babys face omg it was amazing i am so happy and we confirmed 100% its a boy!! all is good now we just need a name!
MARCH 20
So i did my glucose test on monday so just waiting to find out the results we go to the dr on tuesday the 25th and we are having an ultrasound and then i sch my 3d ultrasound for the 11th of april so i can not wait for that. we are also having the baby shower on may 10th so getting everything ready for that. We still haven't registared but i will soon lol. Ok well i will update after the dr appt on tuesday!
MARCH 3
So we went to the dr. on the 28th and everything is good we heard his little heart beat 140 this time. Things are looking up money wise jeffery got a new job so that is exciting. We are gonna go buy a crib this weekend i think. He has been working on the weekends so we haven't been able to do that stuff but last weekend was his last weekend he had to work so we can go shopping and register and stuff like that my sister and mom have been on me about registering. We go back to the DR. on the 25th and get to have another ultra sound so excited about that and then we will sch for the 3D. I have gained 13 lbs at the DR's but on my scale 11 but whatever that is good i am happy about that. I really felt the baby moving last friday night like in the middle of the night. now Jeffery wants to feel it so bad he always asking can u feel him move how about now lol so cute. My sister was pregnant and she just lost her baby on friday so that is really hard i am really sad for her and her husband. well thats it for now
FEBRUARY 18
So i think i am feeling the baby move but i am not to sure well i guess it must be but its not very noticable but thats ok i know it will all come in time. We have been looking for cribs and stuff which is kind of hard because i am so worried about the saftey of them so i am reading online reviews of everything and i have seen that even tho something is very expensive its has bad reviews from customers how have already purchased it so we'll see. We have also been looking at bedding. I still have no clue what we are naming this poor little fella but i really want something with some spunk to it and that is hard with boy names i think i have to go buy another book of names cause i didnt find any i liked in this book. Besides that i am feeling pretty good tired like everyone else and my back hurts alot and my feet start to swell when i get home from work but not to bad i am seriously craving a beer but i can wait everyone keeps saying "you can have a glass on wine" but one i am not craving wine lol and i would just feel guilty about it later so oh well. We go back to the DR. on the 28th so i guess i will update then!
JAUNARY 31
Well we went to the DR yesterday and its a boy 80% sure. Everything seems to be good my placenta is in the anterior which she said was a good spot and the babys heart beat was very strong 158. I do have a very large cyst tho it measured about 14 cm but its not causing any pains no one even caught it until yesterday and the dr still could feel it so she said not to worry about it and we will just see if it shrinks on its own that there wasn't much they could do right now anyways besides that everything is good! now on to finding names lol
JANUARY 16
OK so the DR over booked and we did get to do our ultrasound :( so I have to go back in two weeks on the 30th and we can do it then!! and she will record it on a DVD-R for us so that is really cool. I have lost 1/2 lbs so my total wieght gain is at 1.5 lbs lol. The babies heart beat was 150 and very strong. The Dr. also said she was thinking i was more like 17.5 weeks pregnant so thats 1.5 weeks ahead of what i was thinking but she didn't give a new due date so idk besides that all is well!
January 8
Well lets see i have finally started showing a bit but not to much and i did go and buy my first pair of materinty pants. I can't wait to find out boy or girl I want a girl!! but we have like zero girl names picked out. We do have a boy name tho Jayden Jeffery. I really like that one too lol. I don't have any idea how much weight i have gained but i wouldn't say very much at all maybe 2 or 3 lbs more. I still have those damn headaches and my gums are pretty sensitive but besides that all is pretty mellow.
December 20
We went to the dr yesterday and everything looks good I have gained 2lbs so not bad and they gave me different vitamins to try The ultrasound was amazing the baby was moving like crazy and u could see its little hands and fingers i was just dumbfounded it feels so real now and i don't feel as scared just excited i can't wait to find out if it is a boy or a girl well my next appt is jan 16 so i will post more later

January 3So today I woke up and I have a very noticable baby bump it just grew over night lol I am also hungry all the time these last few days but I am not sure if i should be eating everytime i feel hungry? yea same here the last 2 weeks i gained 4 lbs..i dont feel n e different...!we had the 3d ultra sound done..i need to get the pics back from my fiance he was showin his mom..then ill post them up here..i figured out why i have such major pressure in my abdomen its because his head is really low into my pelvic area..OUCH lol hes all ready to come out! but i want him in there till he is 100% healthy and ready! he has been kicking me like crazy! and hes stubborn he was hiding his face with his arm for the ultra sound!! but he finally moved it was cute! =)
i like that name.. kael its different but very nice..
its hard pickin out the name.. we both liked the name cody and it just popped into me.. cody lane..

im doing fine with my weight im getting a lot better with it too..but i get so much pressure on my stomach because he is growing so much!! it hurts but i just massage my tummy :)

Hey - out of everybody that told you it was the worst pain in the world did any of them once say it was not worth it?! Everybody says yes it is awful BUT as soon as you have baby all is forgotton! Concentrate on holding baby and not labour, there are so many options for pain relief maybe start reviewing them all now? We're all in this together and all feeling the same if that's any comfort!

Hey there, this is my third. My first child was born completely natural, not one speck of pain relief at 30 weeks. let me tell you, it hurts, bad, it is indescribable, however, once its over, that's it. My second child I decided to go as long as I could naturally but not refuse the epidural. I got it at 9 centimeters and it helped me stay focused on what was going on around me instead of being distracted by the pain. It allowed me to talk to my family instead of panting and praying for relief. For this third one, I am again, ready for the pain, going to try to be as 'natural' as possible, but its me and my delivery, the decisions will be my own. Know what your options are, communicate them to your husband or doctor and follow your instinct! You may find that though it hurts, you can literally push thru it, or, just need a breather. Nother right or wrong with either, its your day!

Hi, I had my RH shot at 28 weeks in my arm and i can honestly say it didnt hurt at all and i have a phobia of needles! I found the blood test prior more painful. Good luck x

Hey thanks...he was 7lbs. 3oz., 19 in., I had a natural birth...NO DRUGS! I'm feeling better now...I tore on both sides of my urethra so urinatung was a little painful in the beginning but I'm better now. He's a great baby. Healthy and VERY strong...My doctor could'nt believe how strong his legs are. Also, right when he was born they put him on my cheast and he lifted his head a looked at me. He can lift his head for quite awhile and he's only 9 days old. I'm not sleeping much but it's totally worth it. I've lost half of the weight in only a week and when I came home from the hospital I had a pretty flat tummy! I hope things are going well with you. You're getting closer and closer! Let me know how you're doing!

Thanks, it is what I think too, its not like they won't come, they are our friends, not co workers etc.. =) as for having the baby 'early', I don't want to be medically induced ever, and have been able to avoid that for my first 2. I also don't drink those crazy teas or whatever, the stripping of the membranes to me is the most natural, you can read all about it either on here or babycenter.com. It is exactly like a pap smear the Dr just goes up a few more inches, it is uncomfortable, but not painful and lasts about 2 seconds. The result should in theory be that the irritation of the cervix causes contractions which will then start your labor - naturally. If is works, it will work within 24 hours. If it doesn't work you can have him try again later, or just wait it out =D.

I haven't experienced a loss myself. But I got pregnant after my brother and his wife had tried for YEARS. Imagine having to tell them the news? She had a really hard time dealing with it..but she ended up conceiving shortly after me and her son just turned 4. It was really awkward to talk about the baby moving, etc. I would skip the baby talk for a while. She is your sister and she knows how excited you are about your baby. When she feels comfortable enough she will start mentioning your baby again. I wish her the best of luck. :)

I wouldn't rub her nose in it but she needs to know that everything is okay with your baby. I would talk about your baby but not go on and on. She needs you so much right now.

I am sorry to hear about her lost. Since I have been through something similiar twice, it was uncomfortable to be around people who were pregnant or just the conversation of children. I would never wish the same pain upon them but it was kinda painful to be around. I would say to probably just play it safe and not say too much around her until she feels comfortable. You'll know when she is starting to feel herself again because she'll introduce the subject. Talk about other things other than pregnancy-related items. It'll help her feel more comfortable to talk about it around you once she's ready.

About the dry scalp.. I started to get really bad dandruff after we bought our home, we had our own well system. I tried everything too. And then the last thing I tried, worked wonders! It was regular Selson Blue dandruff shampoo. Its a little pricey, but it worked for me. My hair is really long and thick. Have you gotten rid of the dryness yet?
