I just want to wish you luck at the docs tomorrow. I know how scary it is to have bad abdominal pain. I am sure everything will work out. Let me know if you find out anything intresting about your rupture. You said you have never heard about stomach stretching pains. I have read a lot about it. It is the ligaments stretching. I get the pains too. Sometimes it feels like menstral cramps. Does yours feel like that? Good Luck!

good luck with finding out the sex. Im getting real antsy too! If my Dr. dont schedule one on my next appt in 2 weeks when Im 16weeks Im goin on my own to find out the sex too.

My book says not likely to learn sex until you're around 20 weeks, and even then it's just a guess. Unless they see a little weiner, it really is hard to tell!

I think its too early. The baby is way too small see it. I was reading a book and it said around the 16th week. But the small the baby is the most likly you won't get a 100% answer just a possibility. With my daughter I had went to the hospital around 17 weeks and they could only give me a guess. Most doctors wait till like 19 - 20 weeks because its easier to give an accurate answer. It wouldnt be good to not get a 100% for sure answer. Be patient time does fly in pregnancy.

As for finding out the sex, while the babies parts are developed right around now, and it is possible sometimes to tell, it is pretty hard. Because this early, the girls parts are swollen and the poys parts are small. With that said, I was told the sex of my baby at 13 weeks, and it is pretty obvious in the u/s pics, but I still won't take it for sure until I have another U/S in a couple weeks to verify!

I saw your post.... about app. Really a person who is preg. doesn't begin their app. until 12 (on a regular basis) but prior to that once the patient discovers they are preg. its important to schedule an appointment to confirm, also a good physician family or OB (focus only) should oder an ultra sound... an ultra sound (as early as 6 wks) is important because it gives a person more accurate dates. Tech. no the doc. can't do anything for a patient until in later of their preg. but it is good to confirm and schedule an ultra sound around week 6. Every physician is different with different methods.. you are right i had an appointment to confirm my pregnancy at 3weeks and 5 days, yes thats early but we went ahead an scheduled and ultra sound... Don't worry, but if you are unhappy, you can always look else where... my biggest addvice, my husband is a doc. and no matter what he does or his partners they always want their patients happy even if that means going else where... Good luck and keep you head up :)

HI, i'm so confused w/ the due dates. i've been told Jan 3 and Jan 4. but i do remember being told i'm 6 wks today the 10th. so if thats the case then i'm supposed to have a due date on the 3rd. but i have yet to get the real due date when i go to my first appt on the 2nd of June. :D i'll keep you posted.

Hey, I just saw your post about showing this early. I am 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant, I have gained 5 lbs (which could be water weight) but I swear it looks like I am showing, and I am on baby gaga.com and there are some girls showing at 8 weeks if not earlier, so we both might be.
