Wednesday, 14 May Thanks for message. I was induced on Friday...and finally have my little man home with me. Must admit, induction was more painful than letting things happen naturally, but it was also very quick so worth it. I dilated from 3 cm to 9 in 40 min--with contractions 1min on and 1 min off. --that was tough but quick. Then when the urge to push came it was so intense and the baby was out with the first big push. No stitches and it was all over. Its like a dream. We names him Mathaeos...he's a bit confused about day and night--sleeps all day and up all night. But would not change anything for the earth. Good luck with your little one, just when you think it won't end its all over and you miss the process. God bless. BabyMomma1008 -
Tuesday, 13 May He will get over it...I'm not going to fight over this with him...he can accept that I'm not going to name our son, if we have one, Jr...or he can't...he's too much sometimes.. BabyMomma1008 -

Sunday, 11 May Many thanks for response and advice. I had spoken to a few women previously, whilst still working and they said that they lost their plugs a few weeks before they gave birth, so not sure what to expect. Good luck with baby no.4 - only a few more days to go :) summerx -

Thursday, 8 May I got the Maya sling. I have not used it yet but a friend has one and also my sister and they love it. It is so much easier than dragging around a car seat and stroller all the time. Just google Maya sling and they will show up. My sister also had another sling she got at babies r us and I was so tight and uncomfortable she ended up taking it back. Seems like the Maya is the way to go. Her little boy is 5 months old now and she never leaves home without her sling. Hope this helps!!!! vickicantwait -
Thursday, 8 May hi! In answer to your question about baby slings; my midwife suggested getting a normal upright baby carrier instead of a sling because they last longer and its better for baby's back not to be arched, also, with the upright ones baby can see more of whats going on around him/her. I bought mine from ebay and it was really reasonable. obviously, i havent used it yet so cant say for sure how theyt both are but just thought i'd pass on what i've been told! good luck!! linaka68 -

Thursday, 8 May Hi, also waiting for 4th baby and trying to cherish the last moments. My dr is not an "inducer" as he put it, but he did a stress test yesterday, and then booked me for induction tomorrow as he said the baby is not as reactive as should be--its my due date as well. Otherwise he would have waited longer even past due date. He wants cervix to be at least 3 cm dilated before induction. Then he said it proceeds like normal labour. Good luck-- maybabiesr4me -
Saturday, 3 May Yeah - that's just what I needed to hear. My husband's family has me scared too - they told me his "little" sister was 13.4 lbs when she was born. Are you kidding me???? Disclosures like that should be made before you marry someone - or at least before you decide to have children with them - owwww! My doc says it depends more on the mother's size and that my baby will probably be a bit bigger than my 1st (7.5 lbs).
I still feel like a whale though. Almost over. . . thanks again for your encouragement. Good luck to you. firsttimemom23 -

Wednesday, 30 April I had her order the test for Obstetrical Cholestasis (sp?) lol
but it cost me 40 but i would rather be safer then sorry
it can lead to a lot of complications for the baby if it is that and its not taken care of
