Ok... So I think I will start journaling now. Something I have been very hesitant to do. First I would like to give a to all the pregnancy blogs and women who have taken the time to make me and others feel very welcomed and secure. With the warm welcomes and friendly advice or for just being a sounding board. I sure did need it at first! At the beginning it was not all that smooth sailing for us, but with the help of our Dr's and support from family, the few friends we told and this site things have definitely turned for the best. Happy to say we are right on track now. To fill everyone in... I am very happily married and have a soon to be 16 year old daughter. So I think it is almost safe to say I am a first time preggers again! Things sure have changed ever so much technology wise and age/body wise for me. M/S graced me with their presence and has managed to continue gracing me ever so slightly * YAY * Fingers crossed it diminishes completely soon. Appointments and screenings have been great and we were fortunate to have seen our lil bean 3 times in this short period of time. We finally had our 1^st trimester screening on March 24^th done and the results came back ever so positive! So that was a relief that we could ditch some of the other invasive screening they have to offer. Now we get to look forward to our 16 weeks screening. Lloyd is very excited to see what we could be having. I guess the majority rules… they would like to see a BOY. Stay tuned if the baby cooperates we shall know on April 30^th.

Well its sad i did not go cause I had a great gift! It was a toy box that match your crib set and the cutest thing about it was you can add your babies name to it. It comes with all the letters in the alphabet plus numbers and flowers, the letters are made of wood and its neat cause when you close the toy box it has a lil cushion to sit on!! Its so adorable... Well see ya

I thought for sure that yesterday was the day! I had 4 hours of contractions...at one point they were coming every 2 minutes and lasting about 45 seconds long. My back was killing me...but then they started getting further apart and then disappeared.

That makes 10 days in a row of false labor. It's so frustrating. I hope my cervix at least did a little work after all that! I'm totally exhausted. Going to go take a nap. How are you feeling these days?

I found out I'm 1 cm and 25-50% effaced! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this full moon on the 15th!

I wish I had more progress than ONE but it's better than none I guess. The head is still down and low so that's great news. I had a woman doctor examine me this time and although it was still uncomfortable, she was a little more...gentle.
I feel so exhausted and crampy. I can hardly walk. The dr thinks I might go all the way to 40 weeks but I'm holding the faith that it will be SOON!!!

GREAT news on the progress! I have an apt tomorrow and I'm sure I'll get that lovely exam again. I'm hoping my water breaks right then and there and then I can just walk over to the next building and they can admit me! haha. 1pm sounds a lot better than 1 am! I actually had a pretty scary morning yesterday. You know how this little monkey is active 24/7? I woke up feeling pretty good yesterday, no discomforts (and this is after a week's worth of false labor). I got up, took a shower, made breakfast..a few hours later, I realized that things were pretty quiet. Too quiet. I hadn't felt Baby move all morning. I drank some juice and laid down on my left side to do a kick count. 45 minutes and nothing! I ate something, the baby usually kicks me pretty good after a meal, and still nothing. Then 15 minutes later, a faint kick. Then some movement. Then a hard kick! I guess the baby just needed a nap. Maybe it was the calm before the storm?? I thought a lot about calling the doctor, but all movement returned, especially once Robin got home from work. The baby always jumps and wiggles when he/she hears Daddy's voice. Those two are going to have quite the relationship.

All is normal today, although I'm staying on bedrest because I really don't want to have the baby on 9/11. Tomorrow seems like a good day, eh??? I'm so not looking forward to the pain but after yesterday especially, I just want to hold this little one. I also want to find out if IT"S A BOY OR GIRL!!!!! The suspense is killing me!

I'll let you know how the appt goes tomorrow. I hope I'm dilating!! I'm so ready!

Glad to hear you are well. Jordan is getting bigger each day and amazing us with laughing out loud and smiling. It just makes me melt.

I'm pretty busy trying to find a nanny for when I return to work next month :( i hate to even think about it but the time is coming up. At least I will be here in the house with him as well!

thanks for the support! It really means a lot! I've had those false labor contractions everyday since last Thursday! I hope my body is preparing. This baby is so fiesty and ready to be born! He/She was kicking me so hard the other day I saw stars! Robin is home now until October so it's just a matter of getting a hold of him at work. I'm so sleepy these last few days. Trying to get as much rest as possible. How are you feeling? Any contractions or new symptoms?

Oh gosh..I've had such a bout of false labor lately. I really thought I was going to have to call an ambulence the other night. (Robin was still out to sea and I was so scared I was going to have to labor alone!) Every day I've been having these sharp pains in my back, legs and abdomen. It feels a little different from the usual BH contractions, so I'm going to have to play it by ear as far as lunch goes. I'm trying to stay on bedrest as long as possible, at least until week 38. I'll keep you updated. Hope you get some rest this week too!

YAY! You're a free woman today! I would love to do lunch! If you are willing to drive out to South Park, we can go to that breakfast/lunch place I was telling you about, Big Kitchen. I'll even treat!

There's a sweet little baby store next door and we can browse and daydream together.

I'm good for any day but this upcoming Friday. Let me know how you feel. I understand that some days are better than others.

Well I had my hospital tour yesterday. I feel a lot better about knowing where to go now. The rooms are nice and high tech and everything, private with their own bathroom, but I was disappointed to learn that I'll be in different rooms for labor and recovery. I also learned that they won't admit me until I'm at least dialated to 4. So I'm going to have to labor at home for as long as I can stand it. Do you remember from your class what the window was for the epidural? I'm still not completely sold on the drugs yet, but I don't want to miss the opportunity either if need be!

I think I'm ready for Baby now. I still need to get a pump and a few other things but mostly the nursery is ready. My bag is half packed. I'm just ready to get this baby out!!
