Ok... So I think I will start journaling now. Something I have been very hesitant to do. First I would like to give a Thank You to all the pregnancy blogs and women who have taken the time to make me and others feel very welcomed and secure. With the warm welcomes and friendly advice or for just being a sounding board. I sure did need it at first! At the beginning it was not all that smooth sailing for us, but with the help of our Dr's and support from family, the few friends we told and this site things have definitely turned for the best. Happy to say we are right on track now. To fill everyone in... I am very happily married and have a soon to be 16 year old daughter. So I think it is almost safe to say I am a first time preggers again! Things sure have changed ever so much technology wise and age/body wise for me. M/S graced me with their presence and has managed to continue gracing me ever so slightly * YAY * Fingers crossed it diminishes completely soon. Appointments and screenings have been great and we were fortunate to have seen our lil bean 3 times in this short period of time. We finally had our 1st trimester screening on March 24th done and the results came back ever so positive! So that was a relief that we could ditch some of the other invasive screening they have to offer. Now we get to look forward to our 16 weeks screening. Lloyd is very excited to see what we could be having. I guess the majority rules… they would like to see a BOY. Stay tuned if the baby cooperates we shall know on April 30th.

I had an OB appt today and found out my glucose test is normal. He did confirm that the baby's head is down and lying low, which is why I've been having all the pelvic pressure. He gave me an exam (WOW, that hurt! show a little sensitivity doc!!) and he said that my cervix is still thick and closed. I had thought I was dilating, but I guess not. Just my hips are getting wider I guess! How are your birthing classes going? I need to sign up for mine. More importantly, I need to take my tour so I know where the heck to go when I'm in labor. This naval hospital is a bit confusing.

Hey there! How are you guys? Haven't heard from you in a while and wanted to check in to see how things are going with your pregnancy! Jordan and I are doing great! having a good time getting to know each other :)

pritygyal - Wednesday, 13 August
Hey! glad you are all good on the glucose. I think it's just a scare tactic lol. I'm ready. The shower was great. I got tons of pictures. I've been feeling horribly. still throwing up... even with a $240 prescription so I guess it's back to the drawing board. :( got a Dr.'s appt. tomorrow. I even did my first pregnancy photo shoot today. I got some lingerie and some cutesie stuff. I'll post 2 of each.

NEW PICS OF THE LITTLE ONES! BE BLESSED EVERYBODY!

Monkee - Sunday, 10 August
well I finally made it to the Hash House! It was very yummy, and I have to sheepishly admit that I almost finished the whole plate! (Those portions are astronomical! I had a roasted chicken scramble with potatoes and biscuit.) Next time I go, I'm going to get a pancake. They are bigger than a plate! We had about a 25 minute wait and it was loud inside, but I'd go back again!! Thanks for the tip!

Well do i have some news for you.
I gave birth on the 5th. I was a bit early hehe.
she weighed 6.7 lbs and 18 1/2 inches long.
the delivery part was scary for me but i made it through within 6 hours of labor. I wanted to give birth naturally but omGGG the contractions and pressure! I couldnt take it anymore. hehe. so i was like give me the ep!! as soon as possible hehe. I thought that i could handle the pain, obviously not. hehe anywho how are feeling these days.....btw i miss being preggo.......

Hey mamas!!! Just wanted to drop a line and say hi!! Me and the babies are doing well! We had our 6 month check up today, and doctor says they look good. They were waving at me on the U/S. Next week we have another "big" U/S to check on growth and development. Then I have an appt on th 21st and I get to do my glucose testing (woohoo?). Holy moly, I can't believe I'm in my third trimester already!

I miss you! Love to the family and give Ms. Marley a little rub from her auntie.

Monkee - Thursday, 7 August
I have no idea what to expect at these next appointments. I think I'm going to ask for a pelvic exam to find out whether or not I'm dialated. I feel like I am. I had heard the Dr. won't give a pelvic exam until you are about 2-4 weeks out, so I'll ask. Feels like my hips are spreading, it's so painful! I get this throbbing, sometimes stabbing pain in my V. Also lots of BH contractions, and they are not painless! They go away if I move around and they are irregular, so that's good, but overall I just feel like my body is getting ready. I've been leaking colostrum since week 28! And lately, I've been having a little blood come out of my left nipple. That was really scary a few weeks ago but my OB said it was normal, called "rusty pipes." Other symptoms like dull backache, heartburn and general fatigue are getting easier to deal with, it's those double-me-over kind of low abdomanal pains that I don't like. I'm so ready to be done with the pregnancy thing and have a little baby to hold!

Robin will be in port all of Aug and most of September but a couple weeks after the baby is born, he'll be gone again most of October. My family is going to come out for a few weeks and help me. Then he goes on a 7 month deployment when the baby will be about 3 months. That will be so hard. Although, I think taking care of the baby will be just the thing to distract me from how much I'll miss him while he's gone. I'm just thankful he's been here for most of the pregnancy and will be in port for the birth.

Yes, get your hubby to take you out!! Breakfast out is the best date I think! I'll let you know how my appt goes on Wed. Have a great weekend!
